Wow! We filled a thread!

Hope you all find this new one!

Our evening was great, had a lovely time. kids were all very well behaved. dd sleeping in our bedroom is a nightmare tho - she's sooo noisy!

we need a 3rd bedroom

we're off for Sunday lunch at The Botanist later YUM!

2cute, we're scheduled to have skids that weekend but not confirmed yet. if we do, not sure if i could come and don't want to invite 2 extra kids and dh as that'd be rather cheeky! if we don't then we'll be there

it's far too early for a Sunday!

Foxie. Is what that should have said

sfxmum · 22/02/2007 20:48

happy birthday for tomorrow COV
sorry i did not really get to talk to you and mrsR today, i was mostly on toddler patrol trying to keep dd from legging it to the nearest puddle

dd now asleep and dh on way home apparently quite stressedmaybe there is some wine in it for me

sfxmum · 22/02/2007 20:50

oh newborn

foxabout2pop · 22/02/2007 20:52

COV - that's so spooky you mentioned narcolepsy - someone on my other thread just said they had it [spooky emoticon]

have a brill birthday - anything planned?

MrsR - your kids are gorgeous BTW

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 20:59

Thanks foxie - I think I'm biased! Talking of georgeous I'm just msn-ing our new AuPair - she is stunning but so so kids orientated - she is planning where she is going to take the girls when she is here!

ComeOVeneer · 22/02/2007 21:03

DH has taken the day off work to pamper me. He is getting the kids up and doing the school run (with ds in tow) then doing the shopping for the weekend, plus heading to somewhere in Richmond to pick up something for supper???? So I get a lie in. He is then taking me (and ds) out to lunch, doing the schoolrun again cooking for the kids/bath and bed, then cooking for us. My sister and her dh and children will arrive at about 9pm (children hopefully asleep and transfered straight to bed). Then a weekend of family fun, with my parents coming up for Sunday lunch. We will all be exhausted bySunday night, but will be a great weekend.

pudding77 · 22/02/2007 21:03

Happy birthday CoV.

How sad am I - dh is out tonight and I'm sat here with Murder She Wrote on, I've seen it before and still can't be bothered to turn over

newborns just to repeat Sfx's sentiment!

ComeOVeneer · 22/02/2007 21:06

No MrsR, your girls are a credit to you. If my dd grows up to be like them I will be very pleased. DS is generally quite clingy to me so for him to hold hands and go off with a virtual stranger like that shows what fabulous girls they are. Actually I was tempted to abduct them and take them home after you saying how much they do for you with your ds

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 21:07

COV sounds lovely - makes me realise how much I'm missing dh! (Did I really say that lol?)

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 21:08

Oh COV - thanks for that about my girls - has brought tears to my eyes - I am very proud of them!

pudding77 · 22/02/2007 21:10

I must admit MrsR, I don't think I've ever known girls of that age to be so patient with babies and younger children!

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 21:12

actually dd2 did amaze me today with her patience. She's normally the most impatient child I know. Whereas dd1 is so laid-back she's horizontal.

foxabout2pop · 22/02/2007 22:16

They were both really gentle and friendly to my DD

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 22:18

And they've both been spoilt rotten - just gone up to bed now having watched a film - mind you I had to go in there and make sure it was okay when dd2 mentioned "boobies" ...phew just some men pretending to be women

foxabout2pop · 22/02/2007 22:21

DD just said (before she went to bed at 10pm..):

"mummy's got a baby in her tummy and he's called Monti and he's got no teeth and he's going to drink all the milk from mummy's boobies..."

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 22:23

lol - gosh how intelligent of her to know all of that and glad I wasn't the only one letting their LOs stay up late

foxabout2pop · 22/02/2007 22:28

Yes well it is half term - but mine's only 3

MrsRecycle · 22/02/2007 22:30

Let's hope they lie-in tomorrow - mind you, you'll still be up at the crack of dawn

foxabout2pop · 23/02/2007 06:08

Woke up at 4.30am and can't sleep - must be all the excitement of yesterday!

Ironic that today is the only day I had nothing planned and could have a lie in as well

What to do, but come on MN?

pudding77 · 23/02/2007 07:46

Morning foxie, I was up early as well with ds who decided he didn't want to catch up on any sleep!

He's now playing the noisiest toy he could find!

pudding77 · 23/02/2007 08:06

btw, can anyone recommend a good cheese spread? Not sure if dairylea or laughing cow are allowed on MN!

mellow2 · 23/02/2007 08:36

Hello all,

I'm working from home today. Dd has started sleeping through since Wednesday when she turned 10 months and I'm ecstatic at the amount of sleep I'm getting. Sorry foxie, don't mean to gloat.

If the weather is nice I might go out for a spot of lunch and some food shopping. We're clean out of food.

sfxmum · 23/02/2007 08:37

pudding77 · 23/02/2007 08:53

I was wondering about trying the Philadelphia type stuff.

Mellow - glad dd has started sleeping through, it makes such a difference!

ComeOVeneer · 23/02/2007 09:01
