Hello everyone, how did it go today? Hope you are all ok.
Thank you SmudgeMum, must remember to bring photo tomorrow!

podywody · 29/03/2007 11:04

Hi everyone,
It was lovely meeting up yesterday, and seeing the changes in all the little one, i hope we can do it again soon.

Good to meet up yesterday and today (I don't have a lot on ). Sorry Lauzie and Lilbunnybabe for mixing you up. Lauzie your hair was beautiful so obviously no need for the hair appointment
DS slept for an hour and a half after we left you lot yesterday so I really do think he worries about missing out on anything. I went into Debenhams and it was the start of their half price sale. I managed to restrict myself to just buying DS 2 t-shirts but sent DH in after work to get himself some new shirts.
Kiminutter's nephew is really lovely and just tiny. The cafe at the top of the monument would prob be a good place to meet up because there is quite a lot of different places to buy food and then you can sit anywhere I think. It wasn't very busy so we might not get frowned at too much for taking up lots of room. Hope everyone has a lovely Easter. We'll have to meet up afterwards but before Mile for Maud. Don't eat too many of your DC Easter Eggs!

SmudgeMum · 29/03/2007 17:03

Kiminutter - I just had a look about mile for Maude stuff and there is someone who is getting some posters printed and wants to know if any other organisers want any. I didn't know with your exciting w-e activities, whether you'd get a chance to look so thought I'd post a heads up here! Let me know if you want me to do anything.

lilbunnybabe · 30/03/2007 22:32

Hiya gals, hope you all enjoyed your meet the other day! We've done nothing but pack, inbetween me looking after the girls though! I went to get my hair done the other day.....it's so good, even for just 2hrs, to get pampered!
Our solicitor is being SLOW!!!! We're quite annoyed now, as it doesn't look like we're gonna get in when we wanted, so my Dad and OH will probably be back at work and we'll have to move inbetween......suppose it doesnt matter as long as we move eventually!

Hope you're all well, I'm off for a shower as we've just cleared our loft.....loads of memories up there, all my baby stuff!!!

Hi everyone. Hope you all had good Easters. What was the weather like up here? We were down in London at my SIL with her 3 boys. We had a really lovely time in beautiful sunshine. The only problem is that Dominic is now wanting lots of entertaining and is stuck with boring old me!! He did sleep through the night one night though - I think his cousins wore him out.

Have you got a date for the move Lilbunny? How did the family meet up go Kiminutter?

lilbunnybabe · 10/04/2007 21:27

Smudgemum: our date was 4/4/07, but obviously we're not in yet, this is due to our buyers mortgage not coming through as quickly as we'd hoped, and with it being the bank hol etc. we've had longer to wait. We're hoping to have the contracts exchanged tommorrow, then hopefully move at weekend, but who knows..........just taking every day at a time now, bumping into all the boxes placed round the house!
Glad you had a good time in London!

Hi Everyone, this threads seems to be going a bit quiet, but thats a good sign it must mean that we were all busy having a good time over the Easter !!! we had a lovely relaxing time and dh spent loads of time with ds which gave me some time in the garden. Ds has a real sticky eye again, its just doesn't seem to be going away. Tinder what did your sister have ? hope they are both well,Thanks for the bibs they are lovely.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather. The Mile for Maude arrangements are finally falling into place, is anyone free for a chat about it on Wednesday afternoon? I will hopefully have heard back from the lady from the council by then.
Good luck with the house move this weekend lilbunnybabe, hope everything runs smoothly.
Smudgemum, the family meet up went spectacularly well... will tell you all the juicy gossip when I see you!

LaDiDaDi · 13/04/2007 16:03

Hello everyone. i was at work all over Easter but happily I'm off this weekend so the weather had better be good again!

Pleased that everyone is well.

When is Mile for Maude?

kiminutter · 13/04/2007 17:07

Hi! Mile for Maude is on Saturday, May 12th at 11am.

lilbunnybabe · 14/04/2007 22:14

Hi girls!

Well.....we're still in our old house......our solicitor is on a go slow I think........but at least he has now given us a completion date of 20th April, so we've now booked removalists for next saturdqay.so this time next week, we should be in our fabulous new home!!! But like before, still not getting my hopes up, until we are actually in there with the keys!

Really looking forward to the walk in May, it'll be good to finally meet-up with you all........I'm not sure I can make it on Wednesday, if not could someone confirm the finalised details for me?

Hope you're all well.......we've had an up & down week, me & OH have taken the girls out a few times (S.Sheilds, Bolam Lake & town) and have a great time.........then we had a HUGE argument with my Dads family, resulting in huge amounts of tears etc. its all nearly worked out now, but will take a long time to get back to normal, that same night, the girls screamed for the whole night, not sure if they'd been out in the hot weather too much, so I think I managed to get around 2hrs sleep that night. But each time I look at my girls, I cant help but feel so amazing and happy, no matter what is going on around me! They brighten up each and everyday!!!

kiminutter · 15/04/2007 22:22

Hi lilbunnybabe, hope things all go to plan next weekend! I will email you with the details of the walk when it's all sorted (if anyone else wants details or has any good ideas please email me - [email protected]).

Well, I've had a lovely 3 days all to myself as the kids have been away with my dad. We're off to Haggerston Castle on Friday for a long weekend because my baby will be 5 next Monday! He wanted a jungle themed caravan as his birthday treat! I can't believe how fast he is growing up.

Smudgemum, the meeting-the-inlaws thing was a bit mixed. Mygirl (SIL) and her kids are lovely, we will be keeping in touch. Things did go, erm, a bit haywire when I gatecrashed my husband's engagement do (!) but my kids ended up meeting their little brother!

lilbunnybabe · 17/04/2007 22:51

Kiminutter - thanks, I appreciate it!
Will let you all know how we got on at the weekend!

Podywody .. So glad you like the bibs! Are you BFing? I seem to remember you are, in which case some breast milk in that eye 3 times a day will clear it up!! My Sis had a boy ... photos of my week down in Wales are here -

We're off to Haggerston Castle in the morning, coming back on Monday (DS2's birthday!).
We have official permission to do the Mile for Maude at Jesmond Dene, the rangers are going to help me work out a route. If you would like an email with all the details (when they are finalised) then contact me at [email protected] or keep watching the other thread .
Have a lovely weekend everyone. I hope you get moved into the new house this time, lilbunnybabe!

lilbunnybabe · 19/04/2007 20:23

Hi all!

Well everything is looking good for getting the keys to our new house tommorrow.........moving in on Saturday.......I had to come on and tell you all that we're not able to get a phoneline connected until 1st May, which is a complete bummer, as it means no internet.......so remember all the goss for me and save it up, I'll be back 1st May!

Kiminutter: Hope you all have a fab time this weekend! Enjoy it!

Hope everyone is well! Take care! And looking forward to seeing those of you doing the 'M4M' walk in Jesmond soon!

Em x

SmudgeMum · 23/04/2007 22:42

Lilbunny, I hope you are in your new house and managing to get sorted out. I'm sure you'll tell us all about it when you're back on line.
Kiminutter, I posted on the mile for maude thread too that the email address doesn't seem to be working for you. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help. I've mentioned to some friends with little ones about the walk and some might be up for joining in. Anyway, hope you had a good jungle weekend.
Hope everyone else is ok too and not working too hard. Are we going to arrange another meet up soon? Perhaps one to help you out Kiminutter?

kiminutter · 28/04/2007 21:56

Hello everyone, wow - it's really gone quiet here!! Hope you are all OK.
We had a great weekend, Smudgemum! I'm gonna have to ring the rangers at Jesmond Dene again next week as they still haven't emailed me back, although they did give verbal permission to do the walk. I know it's short notice but I'm off work on Monday, is anyone free to meet up?

podywody · 28/04/2007 21:56

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well, I have spoken to lillbunnybabe and the house move went well. I have been really busy doing stuff with the house, we have 110 year old house and there is loads to do....my best friend from Ireland is over at the moment visiting so its really nice. So who's on for a meet up next week ? how about wednesday or thursday ?

OP posts:
kiminutter · 28/04/2007 21:58

Hi, Podywody! I could meet in town after 2pm on Thursday? Glad things went well for lilbunnybabe, finally!

SmudgeMum · 29/04/2007 11:36

We're free on Thursday too. I ordered DH a t-shirt from the MN shop for the walk and it arrived yesterday and looks really nice. We've got quite a bit of sponsorship and really looking forward to it. Do I remember right that there was a general plan for people to have picnics after the walk? Is that the plan for here too? When do we all need to start doing our sun dances?
Glad lilbunnybabe has moved alright. Podywody, good luck with the house stuff. That is the one thing that I find great about living in a rented house - no DIY to do on a weekend!! We're even thinking about going camping (locally) next weekend if the weather forecast is ok. Anyone know any nice places that are close by (in case we have to escape home in the middle of the night and go back the next day to get our stuff!)

kiminutter · 29/04/2007 11:56

Hi Smudgemum! Yes, we are planning on having a picnic after the walk.
There's a nice campsite at Wooler although we haven't been there for years! Hope the weather is nice, I'm going back to Haggerston Castle with DS1, my friend and her kids on Friday for the Bank Holiday weekend!

tinder · 30/04/2007 07:40

Re A mile for Maude ... I havn't enev started to get sponsors for it .. how's everyone else doing? And re Thursday.. I might be able to make it.

podywody · 01/05/2007 21:59
