West London Mumsnet night out, January 2007

Right, since last night was so much fun, let's get to planning the next one. I've talked to Paddlechick and MrsRecycle and we thought that a big round table would be good, and also talked about Twickenham. So, does anyone know a restaurant (or foodie pub) in Twickers with big round tables?

Oh, and let's do a Friday or Saturday.

So, possible dates:
12(Fri) 13(Sat) 19(Fri) or 20(Sat) of Jan.

I can do any of these dates.

Quokka, I think tube to Richmond and bus to Twickers is better as the bus comes more often than the overland.

Why do you have to take a taxi? Does your DH ban you from night time Tube travel? Is he afraid you'll cause a scene and get arrested?

Paddle, I want you to come.

MrsBigD, if want to come to a meet after you move you can always come back to my place after, but you'll have to sleep on a sofa.

I shall be driving to the meet in Twickers, can't drink much anyways as it doesn't quite agree with my meds. But I think I can be fun enough to be admitted to the group without alcohol Can offer lifts to 3 people if I remember to take the kid's seats out.

soooooo need a night out. DH is having a strop because he suggested pizza delivery and I dared say 'I'm not hungry' and also 'I'm a bit stressed atm', of course he's stressed too, with new job and move, however at least he's still working and didn't have 180 change in life style being home with the kids [sulk emoticon][feet stomp emoticon].

No exact date for the move yet, sometime early February I'm guessing

Uwila thanks for the offer of the sofa, however if and when I'll be joining the west london gang after February I'll be driving

Morning All

I can pick people up from Kew Station/65 bus stops on 20th and drop them back again after (to the transport links that is!). I could also drop people home if its enroute. I have up to 6 spare seats and can't drink .

Make the most of it while it lasts

Where is everyone else: 2cute; trying2begood, Yanks etc? Our group seems to have shrunk of late Or maybe its just me getting bigger

I found out this arvo the name of the cheap but excellent Indian restaurant in Twickenham which my friend recommends. Its calls Sagas. I can google it tomorrow and have a look - think it may be veggie though, so anyone feel strongly about that?

...anyone out there?

I think its on the Richmond Road, between The Council Office (York House?) and the traffic lights, where the road meets the other bit of the high street. Does that make sense?

Since the turn it so low (pathetic actually) and January is a tight month financially, should we bump this gathering into Feb when we have all been paid again? (except for the guest of honor who is jobless )

When are you actually moving MrsBigD? Is first week of Feb ok for you?

How about 02 Feb (Fri) or 03 Feb. (Sat)?
