Right, since last night was so much fun, let's get to planning the next one. I've talked to Paddlechick and MrsRecycle and we thought that a big round table would be good, and also talked about Twickenham. So, does anyone know a restaurant (or foodie pub) in Twickers with big round tables?

Oh, and let's do a Friday or Saturday.

So, possible dates:
12(Fri) 13(Sat) 19(Fri) or 20(Sat) of Jan.

I can do any of these dates.

Uwila - you beat me to it!!

MrsRecycle · 11/01/2007 09:41

And if you're going to troop down to Marlow, you can pop over to Ruislip one time then

foxabout2pop · 11/01/2007 16:58

Looks like we're on for 20th at Sagar then We have 10 which is quite respectable.

Will try and remember to phone and book next week...

Who would like a lift from Kew Gardens(station or 65 stops) to Twickenham and then back again after?

You did tell me but my PG brain can't remember much atm

sfxmum · 11/01/2007 17:10

foxie - can i have a lift please?

foxabout2pop · 11/01/2007 17:12

foxabout2pop · 11/01/2007 17:13

sfxmum · 11/01/2007 17:42

MrsB - That would be great if you don't mind and its not out of your way!

MrsBigD · 12/01/2007 16:56

I have no clue where exactly Twickenham is but I'm sure I'll have to drop south first So no problem picking you up

foxabout2pop · 13/01/2007 07:57

OMG just realised our meal is next Saturday isn' it !!!!!

Will try and book it over the weekend!

uwila · 13/01/2007 16:15

MrsBigD, Go to Gillette corner and head south past West Mid Hospital. Cross over the 316 (roundabout) and that will take you past the Twickenham rail station and into town. York Street is on your left. Parking in Twickers is not, but shouldn't be too bad on a Sat. If all else fails you can probably park at the station and walk from there.

MrsBigD · 13/01/2007 17:09

Thanks Uwila

Puds you're defo on the way then

foxabout2pop · 13/01/2007 20:56

OMG - best place to park in Twickenham anyone???

Oxo/Twickersmum - any advice on parking

[Foxie gets all hot and sweaty just thinking about parking....]

Paddlechick666 · 14/01/2007 08:35

there's metered parking on the main drag just up from the station.

also, if you turn left after the station at the lights by the big rugby pub there's single yellows there.

don't think that'll be restricted on a sat eve.

the pub has a big car park too - am sure that's not restricted on a non-rugby day.

hth
;-)

am so happy to hear Sue may be home within the week!

mellownomore · 14/01/2007 10:35

I'm taking the bus but I probably be grateful for a ride back to Brentford at the end of the evening. Are we meeting at 7 pm?

uwila · 14/01/2007 14:19

Anyone else get the impression that Paddle knows this pub well?

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 14/01/2007 18:01

what's your point!!!

actually, it's where I park when I go to the bicycle shop over the road !

it's also where DH drinks when he goes to the rugby but i have NEVER been in there......

honest!

pudding77 · 14/01/2007 18:42

Mellow, I'm getting a lift with MrsB both ways (I think) - am sure she should be able to squeeze you in!

MrsB - can you fit Mellow in as well??

foxabout2pop · 14/01/2007 20:34

Paddle - thanks for the inside knowledge on the parking - you are often a source of crucial info to me!!!!

MrsBigD · 15/01/2007 07:13

of course I can squeeze Mellow in just somebody remind me on the day to take the kids seats out

and yes Pudding I'll also drive you home
