West London Mumsnet night out, January 2007

Right, since last night was so much fun, let's get to planning the next one. I've talked to Paddlechick and MrsRecycle and we thought that a big round table would be good, and also talked about Twickenham. So, does anyone know a restaurant (or foodie pub) in Twickers with big round tables?

Oh, and let's do a Friday or Saturday.

So, possible dates:
12(Fri) 13(Sat) 19(Fri) or 20(Sat) of Jan.

I can do any of these dates.

My MIL has made a suggestion. There is a restaurant in twick that has Elvis nights. sounds like a laugh. also, being restaurant it will not be smokey. and there's a boogie opportunity.
If anyone is keen I can find out dates in Jan?

That sounds fun. I don't care where we go as lomng as its not a pub. I'm just happy to be going out!!!

I'm on hols 7-14th. start new job w/c 20th so suggest the week inbetween, unless that buggers up anyone elses plans?

Hi Oremstango. Where are you coming from? Twickenham is not train and bus routes, but nearest tube is Richmond.

I'm MrsNoPlans for January so open to any date really and I shall come this time round come cold/flue or whatever illness might try and hinder me... wearing facemask of course as not to pass it on

by then I defo can do with a night out due to move preparations and being totally stressed

I should be fine for any of those dates but am also committed to attend a mums night out with some local RL mum friends which could fall on one of these dates but won't know till much later......I tend to leave things last minute!

oops just saw the telling off posting! And also just realised that dh tends to be out on a friday! Am really with it!

Last time we went out I distinctly recall a unanimous decision not to do it on Thursday again. Seems people were a bit too tired/hunover to cope with work/children on the Friday morning. (not me.... I went home early)

Friday and Saturday are fine with me.

What do people think of:

1. Zizzi's
2. Rawalpindi Grill (Fab Indian but pricey)
3. Chinese
4. There is a pub in Twickers with nice food. I can't remember the name but it has an upstairs dining area so may be okay for the smoke free criterion.

Just throwing some options out there. I've been to Rawalpindi and it is very yummy indeed (currently my favourite Indian outsidde of London)

Sadly, I don't think we are going to find a round table, so I'm giving up on meeting that criterion.

I can do Fri & Sat and am happy to go to any of those places!
