Okay I have spoken to a chap at Waxy's. This pub is going to be refurbished between now and next June.

We could use the sofa gallery for 60 people and depending on numbers combine with the Broad Street Bar for up to 120. The sofa gallery is the furthest area from the dance floor and therefore the quietest area of the pub. The pub will be quite lively at the weekend.

It is just off the ring road and very close to a Travel Lodge (according to Whimsy)

I thought we could book a room Feb/March time and organise a deposit. We will have a better idea how many are interested and if it's a likely goer.

Yes, I phoned Waxy's. I spoke to the manager who told me that were going to be refurbished before June and suggested I book nearer the time.

No I don't mind you sorting it atall, I'll help if you need it.

I have just called and booked us into the Sofa Gallery from 7pm (when they open).

I have also provisionally booked a buufet as well.

A £50 deposit is required to secure the booking

If anyone wants to stay over, they wil have to sort it out themselves as I WON'T be doing that.
