My claim to fame is having a drink with Billy Zane in the Charlotte Street hotel whilst v drunk (me). He was very patient, I must say - and terribly cute! Have also met Sir Trevor McDonald. I know, I know, not quite in the same league as Matt Damon!!!

I've met Robin Cook, Mo Mowlem & Cherie Blair
I've been to Floella Benjamin's house (remember her?)
Saw Eddie Izzard at Edinburgh airport
Timothy Spall had a meal in our local curry house (he was v. drunk and the waiters kept trying to seat him by the window but he kept moving away!)

Sfx - really nice to meet you & dd today, ds enjoyed it as well!

anyways, he was in FA - on backing vocals....

oh and another thing, I met Mat Le Blanc in Venice in a bar/restaurant when i was trashed lol.

my nephew, when he was little (now13) shouted very loudly 'look look mr Bean' to RA by the veg in Waitrose. oh dear!

oh if we talking crushes i have a massive one on Jason Isaacs delighted he is on 2 things currently on telly.
will not mwntion anyone under the age of 30, not until i have had a few drinks anyway

I quite like Dermot Murnaghan the newsreader on BBC1. I used to know someone who was at Uni with him and he's really good politics. Seems like a good Dad too! My friend at the BBC says he has a terrible stoop though in RL, but I still think he's a bit tasty.

wow - we are a cosmopolitan lot with all these sightings. Matt LeBlanc is a tie with Matt Damon on the hunk stakes I think. But not on the acting stakes, eh?

Michael Fish lives in my street (grasping at celeb straws here), but he's v nice.

DD's friend at nursery lives on a house which backs onto David Attenborough's house!!!

I was standing at the bus stop outside Tesco Express on St Margarets Road a few weeks back.

Staring into space at a rather nice old green rolls royce.

A little monkey faced man stared back at me and I thought "he looks like Richard Attenborough".

Off he went and his personalised number plate was something like RA1 or some such!

and bamber gasgoine (old university challenge), and john hannah (sat 2 tables away from me having coffee in richmond starbucks), oh yeah and that guy from Dawson's creek (don't know his name) but I think he was going out with Katie Holmes (now Mrs Tom Cruise) in the programme: he was in pizza express a few months back.

we could all play that 'kevin bacon' game v easily.

Now - what's that rumour about Brian Kennedy and Saint Ronan? I know the gerbil/ gere tale but this one is new to me.
