spooxooky · 01/11/2006 20:35

Hi all, thought I would add a little note on my fantastic day. AS I sit here, drinking a large glass of wine, eating a krispy kreme donut and a packet of hula hoops whilst my cherubs are sleeping. (pondering why my diet is not working....)
Well today I was at waterloo and heard someone call out 'Action'. While I was looking around like a gormless git who should walk RIGHT beside me but MATT DAMON!!! Man, he is very very good looking.
Suspect I ruined the whole shot by dropping jaw and looking bewildered but if they are going to film in waterloo without a word to the hard of thinking then that's their fault! . I looked behind me hoping to get another glimpse and he looked back at exactly the same time (prob thinking 'why do they have a fat bint on the set') and - we smiled at each other!!!!

I am not a fawner of fame. But I am an admirer (from a married distance) of the prime male form - and wow - he is in his prime!! (sounds like dirty old woman now)

Then went to job interview and told them just looking for part time for 3-6 mths - and they did NOT laugh me out of teh room. Hopeful, eh???

So - can anyone beat that for a fab day??

(gush, gush, gush)

Actually - if SJ met baby today she could have had a better day (hope so!!)

rabbitrabbit · 01/11/2006 20:41

Wow. Am very impressed. I've recently developed a bit of an ahem crush on Matt Damon. It's making me feel like a very dirty old woman I have to say

lemonaidtreasonandplot · 01/11/2006 20:42

She doesn't meet Junior until tomorrow or possibly Friday, so you are safe in the goodness of your day. Although clearly Matt Damon had a better day, what with meeting you and all... .

Probably filming The Bourne Ultimatum, according to IMDB.

spooxooky · 01/11/2006 20:48

he was in Bourne gear: black polo neck (pulled tight over his rippling arm and stomach muscles), jeans, butt tight trousers, sultry looks .... Oh dear - I think I need a cold shower

what is IMDthingy?

alos - doya think he's sitting in the Lanesborough wondering who it is he spyed today????

sfxmum · 01/11/2006 20:53

hello liking the festive names, too tired to think right now

Matt Damon! well spooky that is prime cut eye candybless him only fanciable once he went all secret weapon

think London got chilly in sympathy with SJ

FizBangWhooooosh · 01/11/2006 21:18

oh my! spooky you sure had a good day today mate!

i heard on the radio that they were filming around south bank etc. aled jones was well miffed that matt damon wasn't at the london eye when he was lol.

i walked thru some filming at waterloo on monday evening but nothing so exciting.

i walked across a shot of a bunch of schoolkids in a crocodile walking thru the main entrance. then someone shouted cut and next thing some presenter guy is walking towards me with minions flocking around him.

no bloody clue who he was and the kids continued to their train so must've been same as me - unpaid extras!

we'll be watching the movie to catchya oxo!

parkinpud · 01/11/2006 21:36

Aww Oxo that's so cool!! Finding Neverland was filmed around the corner from me but I never even caught a glimpse of Johnny Depp let alone walk beside him!! I must admit though that Matt Damon has never really done it for me - at the minute its Patrick Dempsey in Grey's Anatomy!!

imdb

Do we have any other celebrity stories here? My one is that I stole Rachel Hunter's pizza!!

parkinpud · 01/11/2006 22:00

Well, as I seem to have killed off this conversation I'm off to bed

Goodnight all

Snowboo · 01/11/2006 22:05

Uwila, is MrsRecycle anywhere? Was supposed to meet her but baby got very sick and havent seen her since. Can you let her know im sorry if she went....Ta!

HIJACK OVER....

MrsBonfire · 01/11/2006 22:54

wow spooky you lucky thing you or is that you dirty ol' bag?

My only claim to fame is that Elvis Costello bought a very expensive watch in the place I used to work at

spooxooky · 02/11/2006 08:14

Jerry Hall was behind me in M&S a couple of years ago. She bought lots of fruit and youghurt - in case you are wondering.
No hula hoops and krispy kreme for her. I can see why we are different.

I also pooed in Richard Branson's loo. Long story. (actually, no, not so long - I just pooed in his loo!! )

And I told Marco Pierre White to 'f* off', once. But he deserved it.

spooxooky · 02/11/2006 08:15

Had naughty Matt Damon dream last night.

Involved high speed excapades, fraught with danger, and warm meditterean rain........

mellowfire · 02/11/2006 09:09

lucky you spooky. i've always had a soft spot for matt damon, not just 'cos of his six pack . he just seems like a really nice bloke n he's really bright too.

guyfoxie · 02/11/2006 10:19

My claims to fame are:

Sister's ex was some distant cousin of Tara Fitzgerald

Vivienne Westowwod asked me to model for her once (my two gay friends both worked for her) but I was so scared I pretended to be sick on the day!!

Also was an extra in a film called Party Party (all good clean fun, honest) and danced in a cage in a Scorpions video!!!

Oh and I used to work with a guy who went on to be the guitarist in Fairground Attraction ("WTF are they?" I hear you cry )

Spoooooxy - everything crossed for you re job offers and you finding soemthing that suits

guyfoxie · 02/11/2006 10:20

Oh forgot to mention - I'm in Prima Baby this month talking about flexible working and work/life balance. And DD is in the Christmas edition, talking about Father Christmas!!!

spooxooky · 02/11/2006 10:40

wow - will buy Prima just to see you and have vicarious fame!!

but am disappointed ... none involve poo

MrsBonfire · 02/11/2006 10:47

oh I have to go and have a looksie at Prima Baby! I never even seem to get anything published in the readers comments page no matter which magazine LOL

Just remembered another claim to fame when I was temping at BskyB I handed a car lease permit to that weather guy who's been around for a while and whose name now totally escapes me, you know the one with the bedroom voice (though he has lost that in the last few years), was it Francis?

FizBangWhooooosh · 02/11/2006 11:31

oooh Fairground Attraction!! I am soo totally in love with Brian Kennedy it's not funny! Altho he's aged a bit. Went on to form Sweetmouth but you can't get their stuff on CD. He's very big in Ireland these days I believe.

Anyways, Prima huh? I'll look out for it.

My claims to fame are:

I used to know Henry Epstein (son of Brian)
I used to know George Michael's sister
I got Red Rum's autograph once
I met Benny off Crossroads once
I used to drink with the drummer from Yes
My best mate is related to Marianne Faithfull
My nephew polishes glasses in Notting Grill
My neice hangs out with Alan Yentob and Ruby Wax's kids

Are these tenuous enough LOL!!

Oh and when we went to see His Dark Materials at the theatre last year we saw Peirce Brosnan in the bar during the interval.

Oh and a friend of mine is a puppeteer on Fimbles.

Shutting up now..........

spooxooky · 02/11/2006 11:39

festivevillas · 02/11/2006 12:00

Sorry Fiz but Brian Kennedy is G@Y - have you not heard the story about him and Ronan Keating in a hotel room in Dublin

My claim to fame is having a drink with Billy Zane in the Charlotte Street hotel whilst v drunk (me). He was very patient, I must say - and terribly cute! Have also met Sir Trevor McDonald. I know, I know, not quite in the same league as Matt Damon!!!
