Hi nanou. Escale sounds good - a pm meet up will be quite a novelty these days (think i've been out 4 evenings in 3 months!!) Is it a restaurant that's easy to get to by public transport or should I drive?

I've just joined the thread myself. I live in Brentford too. I would be interested to go to a parent and baby screening at the Watermans too.

I've found the Watermans website here . Have a look at the schedule and let me know what you would be interested in seeing.

Hi quokka,

I'm not sure how dd will react to being in a darkened room for a protracted period of time as she's taken to screaming whenever she's stationary for more than 15 mins. We used to go out to eat and she would be as good as gold. Now, we make do with ready meals or takeaways when I'm too tired to cook. But I'll give it a try.

Hi unmellow - none of the films this month especially grab me but on the other hand it's just nice to get out to the cinema so if you are interested in either of them let me know.

newmum & unmellow - I'm the same, not sure how ds will last in the cinema but it would be worth a try. I'm away that week you mentioned but maybe there's some better films coming up in November we could go to as well!

Otherwise, I can meet up on Tuesday and Syon Park isn't too far for me. Do you prefer morning or afternoon?

Hrmph I go off for an interview and am not on here and lemonaid and 2cute are trying to put me out of my German leader job on here

Nanou1, I think interview went well. Got there way early as I expected traffic on the North Circ but there wasn't any! Only took me 12 minutes to drive there!!! . So far company is a 2 people affaire but they're looking at expanding. They seemed quite impressed with me and I should hear no later than Wednesday. Fingers crossed everybody please. It would be perfect working hours 10-14 (as stipulated by me) 10-16 hours per week for starters with scope for expansion. So first of probably 3 days a week then 4 then 5 . Would give me time to sort out this bombsite of a thing I dare call our flat

Hopefully they give me the job because then we have an 'excuse' for Thursday to celebrate, not that we need a reason for a glass or 2
