A few degenerates seem to have the idea that some of us would for some reason once again want to get together for some drink and inane chatter somewhere in London sometime around Christmas.....

So with that in mind the date of 29 November is being paddled around.

There's talk of doing it at lunchtime Boob. So that either gives you more drinking time or more sobering-up time, whichever way you prefer to look at it!

Its the wrong time of day to do it but a AIBU or chat thread directing people here is usually the way to go. AIBU to invite everyone to the MNet London meetup, etc.

I think based on what I heard about last year (I couldn't make it), we might be best to do somthing where no deposit is required and people can just order food/ nibbles if/when they want it.

Pot, when you get off at Charing Cross or wherever, have a short stabby thing in your dominant hand to eliminate annoying people who get in your way. Keep walking in a confident fashion through the meanderers that you've offed. Don't worry. CCTV footage is often blurred and sometimes wiped in 24 hours. Often the cameras don't even record.

Remember that your ultimate mission is to reach our lunch.

That's rubbish :( it's my stepmums 50th birthday so won't be able to come

I normally just use my umbrella and open and close it at sporadic intervals in front of me. Element of surprise and all that.

I'm not sure how well it would fare against a walker of the bitey variety.
