oh and none of this is negotiable and if one or other demand isn't met or payments made then access will be withdrawn.

tout de suite

arrogant &*&%

i'll shut up and stop hijacking the thread now!!!

fatfox · 01/10/2006 22:35

Dear witchypoo,

Blimey what a cow!!!

Talk about using children as pawns! Poor little things. By the way they are both lovely aren't they?

The sooner the legals get involved the better IMHO!

As an alternative, you could always try making an effigy and sticking pins in the eyes

Paddlechick666 · 01/10/2006 22:39

lol FF

dh says bugger the effigy, he'd rather stick pins directly in her!!

you're right tho, they are lovely boys despite her influence.

how's your wet patch

pc666

fatfox · 01/10/2006 22:42

PC - my wet patch has grown today with the rain

MrsBigD has kindly offered to discuss with her building Co boss and my Dad is to do an inspection on Friday

Paddlechick666 · 01/10/2006 22:50

ff, suggest make dh sleep in wet patch.

do not know what use this may be but have now had 3 glasses of Wolfblass and am feeling silly.

have instructed dh he must go out and buy me chocolate.

rather feel this would only work if i were pg but as i am not his response of get effed is probably fair. harsh, but fair!

ho hum...........

fatfox · 01/10/2006 22:58

PC - you could promise him rampant sex in return for the chocolate perhaps? Depends how much you want the chocolate...

Am really jealous you can drink.

Paddlechick666 · 01/10/2006 23:04

hmmm, i think there might be some flapjacks in the pantry. they might do instead lol.

yes drinking, it is great isn't it.

another good reason to perhaps remain a parent of one..............

don't worry, Foxcub3 will be along soon enough and you'll be able to have a little snifter in those hot chocs!

pc666

fatfox · 01/10/2006 23:09

I LOVE flapjacks...am getting very jealous now...

will pop downstairs and pour myself a glass of sparkly water and two spoonfulls of lactulose before I retire for the night

2Cute · 01/10/2006 23:16

PC666 - I'm half asleep, yet another manic wk/nd but had to express my at ur DH's X (the REAL witch). Don't know how you both manage to keep so civil with her...Me, I'd think sod prison and probably chuck plates and a few, shall we say, NOT very nice words, at her!

October Chit-Chat thread

quokka · 02/10/2006 13:08

Ok I have asked my dh if he thinks I'm a hippy and he said "of course you are!".

So I think I may have been a hippy in denial for years . So from now on I will start wearing tie dye clothes (which I will of course dye myself using vegetable dye from the veggies I grow!). Start growing and smoking grass under the stairs using hydroponics, and burn essential oils to cover up the smells just in case social services pop round for a cuppa .

If anyone else has any other suggestions to boost my hippy look - I'm listening.

PC I had an evil stepmum (honestly), now I don't know you that well but you can't be worse than her!

quokka · 02/10/2006 13:16

Pud next time you go to Gunnersbury, let me know and I'll meet you there . Whatever happend with the butterfly house. I got a leaflet saying it was going to be moving to Gunnersbury, didn't realise it had fell through! Do you know that people live in the big house there? I think the council had connverted it into flats, which I think is disgusting. I would love to set up a childs play cafe there .

Nanou1 · 02/10/2006 15:30

hi quokka! we must chat with fatfox re gunnersbury park. before i went back full time i had a vision of using the space by the playground - behind the public toilet - for a child play cafe type thing with food and activities. mainly because there is nothing to do indoors around where we live - ar at least not enough options for carers. fatfox will have great info if you are interested. would be interested in lobbying and raise money privately. some many people would welcome a proper caf in gunnersbury park. would love to know the reason why a permit could be refused too
anyway it was lovely to see you guys on friday even though i spent a lot of time away because of dd. my next break is between Xmas and New Year and will be in london! and .... miaow...

Paddlechick666 · 02/10/2006 16:47

oooh Quokka you utter hippy! extra points if you tie-die your home-made HEMP clothes! a useful by-product of your understairs activity.

obviously you also need to bake wholewheat bread and use brown rice and pasta..........

y'know, even tho I say it myself, I'm a bluddy good step-parent. the boys love me altho I think they kinda think of me as an affectionate teacher LOL. I tend to be the organiser but also the discipline too.

dh is real slack on discipline tbh!

I also had a step-mum who I got on great with and a step-dad who was a NIGHTMARE.

30 years on and I never see/hear from step-mum but am very close to step-dad..........

anyway, a space at Gunnersbury with a cafe sounds brill. I'd love to be involved, 'tis a pipe dream of mine to have a deli/coffee&cake/sandwich type place.

PC666

ps: those flapjacks are home-made FF and what on earth were you putting in your fizzy water?

Nanou1 · 02/10/2006 16:59

hi paddlechick! re gunnersbury caf... absolutely!!!!! and uwila will prefer that type of discussion to knitting and crocheting . no seriously, i really want to kick some butts to get something done. and seeing this utterly miserable weather today is even more convicing... rather than beeing at home on a rainy sunday afternoon in a small place; get family and sunday papers; buy a drink and nice home hippy cake type things full of seeds and goodness and let the kids make friends, play and have fun without getting miserable cos it's wet and not much room to run around. yep. here is only one way forward!!!

quokka · 02/10/2006 17:47

PC didn't think of manufacturing hemp! By the way I do bake the occasional wholemeal loaf of bread and sometimes make my dc suffer with wholemeal pasta .

pudding77 · 02/10/2006 18:45

You know, I always thought of myself as a little hippy-ish because of my taste in music but I don't even compare to you guys!!

Re gunnersbury park, this could get interesting! It has always been a dream of mine to have a bookshop with a cafe/bakery so perhaps we could set up a child's play area with cafe, deli, bakery & bookshop?? Do you think that'd work??

quokka · 02/10/2006 19:11

I love the ideas but money is the huge factor!

Paddlechick666 · 02/10/2006 20:01

anything is possible, with enough money of course!

definately worth exploring.

dh is an accountant so could help in that regard.

Quokka, I am currently baking 3 loaves per week and it's been wholewheat pasta for yonks in our house - much to dskids disgust. they prefer nuclear white anything!!

We found our Nanny, she's utterly lovely and will start on Wednesday.......... so relieved.

I will be a bit offline for next couple of days - visitors from o/s.

Most of you have my mobile so please text me any salacious (sp?) gossip. Failing that just keep me in the loop LOL.

Final hippy coup de grace, I can't make Lollipop on Friday coz I'm going to a Sling Meet to learn about wraps and mei teis.

Feel free to join me if you'd like.

I'll be the bank robber to generate funds for the cafe seeing as we already have everything else covered!

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/10/2006 10:51

well I've finished one jumper (would fit a two year old instead of a 9 month old) and 3/4 of a cardigan but I don't think anyone would give me £50 for either of them Nanou!

Nanou1 · 03/10/2006 11:01

HI Sue! you 'll have to teach me! when that caf is running we can sell our stuff there . how are you? any news? sorry can't help myself asking.... just thinking of you actually cos went onto gumtree and if you look on misc i think there is a message where someone from belgium is looking for a family to adopt 2 girls 2yr old whose parents died. looks so strange/dodgy... had to report it to gumtree...

suejoneziscalmernow · 03/10/2006 11:15

Very dodgy indeed! No news yet I'm afriad, I have no idea whats going on but should hear more sometime this week I hope.
