Friday 22nd Sept - Who fancies meeting up this Friday? How's about sticking to the good old Lollipop Club (unless any1 has any other suggestions) seeing as it's forecasted to rain?

Friday 29th Sept - Child's Play Cafe (Chiswick) -what time suits everyone to fit around nap times etc? Childs Play Cafe

1st week of Oct - um....ah...???

MrsBojangles · 23/12/2006 17:41

how's everybody?

Could somebody jog my memory when we're at Foxies to serve on her on hand and foot? Was it Friday? and what time? I'm a zombie at the moment and brain and memory eloped

mellowchristmas · 24/12/2006 11:16

MrsB,

We were at Foxie's for the book swap at 11 am on Sat 1 Dec. Merry Christmas!

Paddlechick666 · 24/12/2006 15:43

hi all

i think mrsb is referring to the next gathering at foxies which is friday 11am.

bring food and be prepared to clear up after ourselves.

the idea is that we wait on foxie hand and foot and let our LOs exhaust her LOs (and vice versa) in order that they all go to bed early and sleep.

DVDs other than Dr Who also requested - possibly something unisex that will cover 6m to 6years would be great!

;-)

oremstango · 24/12/2006 21:54

Hello ladies!

My little guy took us by surprise and arrived 5 weeks early Dec 4. Getting itchy to get out and about and would love to join you for your next get together if you could advise on details. Look forward to meeting you then-

Jennie

Paddlechick666 · 24/12/2006 22:17

WOW! Jennie, congratulations! hope all are doing well.

we're having a get together next Friday as per previous post, CAT me for details. Am sure Foxie won't mind a newborn to coo over - as we all would!

otherwise we have a night out planned in Jan sometime altho dates not decided yet.

merry christmas.
x

MrsBojangles · 25/12/2006 13:26

Congrats Oremstango!

So who's bringing what to Foxie's on Friday?
and has anybody heard from Yanks?

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

Paddlechick666 · 25/12/2006 22:00

i'm bringing potatoe salad, was going to bring wine but think i may give up drinking !

yeah i had email from Yanks, they were heading back to do some house stuff but returning here a few days ago i think.

they've had major visiting rellies as well so hence all quiet!

mincepiepud · 27/12/2006 08:43

We're not going away until Fri eve now so can make Foxie's if that's ok! I can bring some biscuits & M&S chocolate bits - if you're more wanting lunchy bits rather than sweets then I'll think of something else!

PortAndLemonaid · 27/12/2006 15:30

Could someone CAT me details of where foxie actually is? And are DHs welcome (not sure yet whether he's going to be in a guilt-ridden "must spend quality time with my DS" mode and superglued to our side or in a post-Christmas "do anything for some peace and quiet" mode and keen to stay at home reading)?

MrsBigD · 27/12/2006 16:12

cat'ed you foxies details
still no idea what I'll be bringing though

Would have loved to join you but I'm having dim sum with some Chinese MN mums in Central London and doing a spot of shopping at the sales. Have a lovely time and I hope to see everyone at the January bash!

mincepiepud · 28/12/2006 14:16

Sorry, but not 100% if I can make it. Dh may have to go into work and if he does, then I'll pop along but if he doesn't then we're going to set off oop north in the morning. Hope that itsn't a problem.

hoxohoxohoxo · 28/12/2006 20:59

Hello all
I see I am down as a yes here - I know nothing about it but am always happy to pop over for a coffee and a chat anytime.

We are off to see a potential childminder tmrw at 10 so will pop round after that.

Foxie, I don't have yr address, can you text me/ cat me with it? If not then I'll just phone someone tmrw.

hurrah to be meeting with non relations ! Can we backstab inlaws????

am going to change back to my prechristmas name now!

harktheheraldfoxessing · 28/12/2006 21:15

Oxo - will text you

Paddlechick666 · 28/12/2006 21:47

hi all

glad to be home altho no one to entertain DD so hard going LOL.

i've texted oremstango and will pick her up on way thru. spoke to nanou earlier too and she's up for it.

will make pot salad in the morning and bring anything else i can find.

quokka, so sorry to hear about ds. poor laddie.

sfx, am sure you could spare an hour off your study!

pud, hope you don't leave for Ooop Norf early - in a selfish way of course LOL.

Hoxo, best you come, we need to nanny chat.

mellow, hope you have fun. you're let off as it's an MN activity!

;-)

ps: foxie, how's your spanky new machine?

harktheheraldfoxessing · 28/12/2006 22:06

Paddle - PC is fab! Although DS managed to bugger it within 10 mins and had to restart. Heavily suspect it was he who buggered the old one too . Thinking of banning him altogether

harktheheraldfoxessing · 28/12/2006 22:08

BTW you lot, our house is a tip.

Just so you know, like ...

harktheheraldfoxessing · 28/12/2006 22:09

Is Uwila coming tomorrow??

Paddlechick666 · 28/12/2006 22:48

haven't heard from Uwila.

am collecting Oremstango about 11ish then on to yours.

We will have a newborn to cooooooo over!

don't suppose we can use Santa against DS anymore Foxie. Will have to think of some other way to stop him buggering machine.

upgrade your broadband and get parental controls set up.

;-)

trying2bgood · 28/12/2006 22:55

quokka - sorry to hear about ds1, sounds like he has what my girls and me had just before xmas. This bug really is doing the rounds. Hope he gets better soon and has a lovely new year along with you and the rest of the family.

to everyone else - hope you have a great time tomorrow. I am hoping to do something 'fun' with my family. Seem to have been stuck indoors with family for ages, we had some friends round today and had hoped that we would meet somewhere but no avail they came round and I had to make lunch!

And I am now 32! Birthday as normal went largely unnoticed - this is the downside of being an xmas baby, even I was more interested in christmas than my birthdy , so cannot blame others for forgetting too!. OK, self pity over! Have a great new year's run up! Is anyone doing anything exciting?
