SAHM's, Part-time workers and of course slackers here we go:

Friday 22nd Sept - Who fancies meeting up this Friday? How's about sticking to the good old Lollipop Club (unless any1 has any other suggestions) seeing as it's forecasted to rain?

Friday 29th Sept - Child's Play Cafe (Chiswick) -what time suits everyone to fit around nap times etc? Childs Play Cafe

1st week of Oct - um....ah...???

Is 11am ok? Ds has a bottle at 10 so generally don't get out much before 10.30! And I'm happy to go anywhere - we've not tried Syon Park either. Ooh, aren't we great at making decisions

spooxooky · 30/10/2006 21:18

Oy - Fizi - are you sussed for childcare, or wd you want to look at nanny share?

pumpkinpud · 30/10/2006 21:53

Fizzy, I'm off to bed now so I'll have a check in the morning otherwise I'll call to see if we can decide where to meet!

FiziWhiziLetsGetScary · 31/10/2006 07:14

this afternoon would be better for me tbh Pud.

got a few bits and bobs to do this morning and dd has already been up since 5am. why she has to do that on my day off but on a work day can't open her eyes at 6am i don't know!

what about 2ish?

pumpkinpud · 31/10/2006 09:00

Ds tends to have a long nap around that time. Is 3 any good for you?

mellowfire · 01/11/2006 09:25

Would anyone like to meet up fri? I'd be up for lollipops or snakes and ladders at syon park.

sfxmum · 01/11/2006 20:12

parkinpud - got your msg great for tomorrow see you at 11 - anyone else care to join us at lollipop?

any problems let me know and we will park ourselves at Kew again

festivevillas · 03/11/2006 10:10

Morning, campers. Does anyone want to meet up with me and 21 month old dd on Mon or Tues?

mellowfire · 03/11/2006 10:29

Hi festive,

I could do Mon, preferably pm. Where are you thinking of going?

festivevillas · 03/11/2006 10:33

Hi, hadn't decided - perhaps Kew Gdns - or Lollipop Club? Pretty easy going really, what do you fancy?

mellowfire · 03/11/2006 16:45

Lollipops would be nice. Let me know what time you fancy and I'll CAT you with my number.

spooxooky · 03/11/2006 18:31

Guys: can you have a look at the Christmas dinner thread, please.
Thanks

festivevillas · 05/11/2006 19:46

Mellowfire, apologies but I'm going to have to bail out re: tomorrow's meet-up. Have also had to say "no" to next Friday's knees-up at Wagamama! All v disappointing but my Dad & bro are in London at short notice - ie they have just called me to let me know they are here!! - so I am seeing them. As they live in Northern Ireland I don't see them very much and I would like them to see 21 month old dd as they have not seen her for ages. Catching train/tube into Central London so fingers crossed it all goes well with v active toddler! Am free Tuesday morning if that works? Am trying a free trial Gymboree Runners Class in St Margs on Tues arvo - anyone been to one of those?

mellowfire · 06/11/2006 08:40

No probs, festive.

pudding77 · 13/11/2006 15:03

Would anyone like to meet up this week?

Nanou1 · 13/11/2006 15:10

hi guys! can't be long - am at work. not been on here for a while cos got caught - would you believe!? anyway; it's a long way away but am at home between Xmas and New Year with dd whilst dh is working. Would be great to meet with whoever is around. just a thought....

harktheheraldfoxessing · 13/11/2006 18:34

Hi nanou - so nice to see you again! Did you get told off ?

I'm also around from 22 December until the beginning of January.

We can perhaps go to that Kew Gardens Christmas Festival?

I'll deffo be up for meets during the hols if anyone else is around

festivevillas · 13/11/2006 19:11

Is anyone around tomorrow morning? DD and I spent a happy afternoon at Climbers & Creepers this afternoon and she is already fast asleep in bed! And moi sitting here mumsnetting, large glass of wine to hand. I WILL go and start making supper soon .. honestly

harktheheraldfoxessing · 13/11/2006 19:28

festive - sounds bliss

sfxmum · 13/11/2006 19:30

hi C&C is great to tire the little darlings
i am busy tomorrow but free on wednesday and prob friday.but i am trying to save cash so will probably keep around kew gardens or maybe richmond library
and coffee in town.
i would like to try Hugo's sometime but maybe not this week

about christmas, i will be away but i think i will be back by the 28th or so.

festivevillas · 13/11/2006 19:31

Well it's not baaad - although I have just burnt the leeks! And to be honest I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing in the kitchen tonight - grilled chicken (that I had marinaded in lemon juice/olive oil/garlic) plus the burnt leeks, rice and a white sauce with a wee bit of sherry thrown in. Could it be palatable, do you think? So much of my efforts do not seem to be. But one cannot be good at everything - so I keep telling myself ...

pudding77 · 13/11/2006 19:52

Sounds yummy to me festive (except maybe for the burnt leeks ). I'm free tomorrow morning if you'd like to meet, would probably be around 11am - is that too late?

harktheheraldfoxessing · 13/11/2006 19:59

Festive - you go to more trouble than I do with creating lovely food

festivevillas · 13/11/2006 20:31

It was an unmitigated disaster. Burnt leeks, glutinous rice, dh ate it in silence and said it was "fine"!! Back to fishfingers tomorrow night!!

Puds, 11am might be a wee bit too late for us - I really need dd to sleep over lunchtime tomorrow so that she can enjoy her 4pm class - hence I need to get out early tomorrow am and tire her out! Was thinking more 9-ish ...

pudding77 · 13/11/2006 21:03

fair enough festive, ds is normally napping then so we go out later in the morning! And if you ask me, dh was being a tad picky
