Pud,

I'm going to try to make the Watermans' music class on Wednesday. Did you say it was at 10 am?

Paddlechick666 · 13/11/2006 21:42

i could be up for something around 11ish.

pud, i'm off to see Nicky for some TLC tomorrow morning.

am guiltily sending dd off with nanny for half day even tho it's my day off. i just have so much to do.

in my defence she'll only do a half day on Friday too so techinically it all evens out.

i expect i'll be around xmas/new year and up for activities too.

nanou, sorry to hear you were caught out at work. hope you didn't get too badly disciplined

haunted, you can come cook at my place any time altho i'll pass on the leeks if thats okay!

Paddlechick666 · 14/11/2006 08:10

sorry but think my morning is now pretty full up.

could be up for a stroll/park type thing this arvo tho - C&C maybe or Redlees?

am getting very excited about seeing Nicky and getting my legs/eyes waxed - how sad am I!

I hope you're getting a referrel discount Pud!

mellowandreadyforchristmas · 14/11/2006 08:39

Ooh PC, are you getting your eyebrows done? Nice.

I'm going to have my eyebrows shaped when I have a bit of cash.

Oops. Browser misbehaving.

pudding77 · 14/11/2006 09:17

I think I ought to! Actually I'm going to book myself in for a facial & eyebrow shape soon.

Not sure about this pm, all depends on when ds sleeps, sometimes it's after lunch & sometimes it's at 3pm. What time were you thinking of pc?

Mellow - the music class is 10.30-11.15am. Hopefully see you there! Hmm, maybe I should get a referral discount for them as well!

harktheheraldfoxessing · 14/11/2006 10:03

I don't have any eyebrows anyway.

Eyebrowless

Paddlechick666 · 14/11/2006 11:55

well, eyebrows or not I thoroughly recommend a visit to Nicky. She's lovely and relaxing.

Pud, I may have exposed you as an interner weirdo....... sorry! but i did mention that you deserved a referral discount!

my next appt is already made.

Paddlechick666 · 14/11/2006 11:55

mellowandreadyforchristmas · 15/11/2006 09:53

Paddlechick666 · 21/11/2006 07:49

pudding77 · 21/11/2006 07:53

Hi Paddle, I'm up for Lollipop. We seem to have mainly been in the house lately and I think ds is going a bit stircrazy! I'll call you later

Stephym78 · 24/11/2006 12:10

Hi everyone, hope you're all ok! Just wondered if any of you can recommend any daytime groups to go to with a titchy one - my DD is 11 weeks old. I've tried a few mother & baby groups but none of them feel "right" yet if you know what I mean Would love to get out there and meet mums with little ones as I don't really know anyone locally

2quokkasandapeartree · 24/11/2006 12:17

hi Stephym78 think I'm near to you. I'm in between Acton town tube and Gunnersbury park. Have ds 2.5yrs and ds 10 months. Don't really go to classes, but theres soft play at Hugo's (Richmond) The Childs Play Cafe (Chiswick), and my house which is very child friendly if you fancy a cuppa

Stephym78 · 24/11/2006 12:20

That's so sweet! Thanks for that - may well take you up on that offer Def not too far away - I'm near West Acton tube and drive. The cafe in Chiswick sounds interesting too - where abouts is it?

mellowandreadyforchristmas · 24/11/2006 12:58

Hi stephy,

The Childsplay Cafe is in the Hogarth Youth Centre. Here's the website . I go to Chiswick a lot so if you're keen maybe we could meet at the Childsplay cafe. My dd, btw, is 7 months old.

trying2bgood · 24/11/2006 13:06

Mello, am also a regular at childs play cafe, although have not been for a while as got a bit tired of going and finding the big hall being taken over by some activity that cost the earth!

Am happy to meet anyone there in the morning/lunch! Also I live very close to acton town station so 2quokka, we must be neighbours!
i have probably walked past you!

trying2bgood · 24/11/2006 13:09

stephn - are you a member of ealing135? It is a local parenting group. There are some good groups, but with everything it takes time to get to know anyone so it can be pretty difficult at first - I know !

There is a rhymetime class on tuesdays, it is five pounds and I think the lady that runs it is very good. You may want to give it a go later on.

2quokkasandapeartree · 24/11/2006 13:17

t2bgood, how funny! What do you look like how old is your LO? I have shortish wavey brown hair and dark red glasses, quite tall and I'm an aussie. Ds1 has ginger hair and ds2 is blonde, have you seen us?

trying2bgood · 24/11/2006 13:35

Don't think so, I think I would remember the red glasses! I am a chinese lady with shoulder length black hair, on the, ahem, chubby side (although trying to change that LOL), not too tall and have two dds, aged 3 and 1. My eldest has curly brown hair, and youngest also has brown although not sure whether it will go curly or not!

2quokkasandapeartree · 24/11/2006 13:40

do you live in the triangle?

trying2bgood · 24/11/2006 13:42

no, live close to acton fire station, but my dd1 goes tennis in the triangle! If you are an ealing135 member I have probably delievered a newsletter to u!

am off now to eat lunch before dd2 wakes!

mellowandreadyforchristmas · 24/11/2006 13:56

t2bg,

i'd be up to meet a weekday morning next week. I'm available Mon, Wed, and Fri. Anyone else would like to join us?

2quokkasandapeartree · 24/11/2006 13:57

t2bgood, not in your group but your more than welcome to come round for a cuppa as well! I'm spitting distance from the club!
