Hi Saro and Tessiebear - how about Wednesday next week 12pm outside the cathedral?

LucyJones · 27/05/2004 12:08

Sorry that should have been 2pm!

Fio2 · 27/05/2004 12:10

I am in canterbury on a monday between 12.30 and 3.00 and on a tuesday 9.30 - 12.00 if anyone would like to go for a coffe and chat?

LucyJones · 27/05/2004 13:39

That would be nice Fio2. This Monday and Tuesday are a bit tricky though. How about a week on Monday? I'll have ds with me (2 months)...

Fio2 · 27/05/2004 13:40

YES THAT WILL BE FINE, oops caps I will have my ds (2 1/2) with me

LucyJones · 27/05/2004 13:48

Excellent! So that's Monday June 7th - what time would you like to meet and where?!

Fio2 · 27/05/2004 13:49

well early if you like, we could meet outside the cathedral and find a cafe? Ooooo this will be my first ever 'meet' with a mumsnetter!

LucyJones · 27/05/2004 13:56

Okay - 12.30pm outside the cathedral? My 1st time meeting a mumsnetter too - should we wear flowers or something!!!!

Fio2 · 27/05/2004 13:58

yes that should be fine! I will contact you by e-mail through mumsnet before if thats okay? We could get lost by the cathedral! we should say by monsoons door

LucyJones · 27/05/2004 13:59

Yes by email is fine. Monsoon sounds a good plan.

Aero · 27/05/2004 16:22

Maidstone anyone?

sarochka · 27/05/2004 21:14

Lucy and Tessie next weds would be fine for me. Cathedral at 2 ish. My first m/net meet too. Scary but cool to do. Will have dd with me. Tessie if you'd like to meet at kids safari or somewhere that'd also be cool. try and keep holidays for things like this as other wise would be working all the time !! Hope all fine. Aero - Maidstone is a possibility. I don't really know it what is there to do ?
This is exciting...

Aero · 27/05/2004 23:29

Don't know it that well myself, but is much closer than Canterbury. Having said that, Moat (might be Mote) Park is nice for a picnic. I'll have 3 in tow if in hols! There's a nice play area and a lake with ducks and a little train (when it's open).

Freckle · 28/05/2004 07:01

Mote Park or the Millennium Park are both nice with things to do with children. I don't think I'll be up for a half-term meet. My children are a bit too old for swings and roundabouts Happy to do an evening meet-up after half-term though.

LucyJones · 28/05/2004 12:55

Hi Saro - Wedneday at 2pm at the Cathedral it is then! I'll have ds with me.

Aero · 28/05/2004 13:07

Someone mentioned Tue 14June a little earlier. Should be free that night.

sarochka · 28/05/2004 19:04

Lucy - look forward to Weds. I'll have dd with me. How do we know each other ? could be interesting but then 2 mums in the midst of a swarm of foreign students should not be too difficult. Tuesday 14 should be fine Aero. Where do you live then?

LucyJones · 28/05/2004 19:25

Saro - shall we meet outside Monsoon so we don't get mowed down by all the foreign students?
P.S. Don't be surprised when I introduce myself and I'm not a 'Lucy'!!!

Aero · 28/05/2004 22:11

I'm in Chatham. Will be quite exciting meeting other mners

sarochka · 29/05/2004 09:02

Lucy I am really Sarah, but what did you mean ??

rsv1000r · 29/05/2004 13:51

When you talk about Wednesday do you mean 2 June during half term?

Aero · 29/05/2004 21:31

Hi harman. At last, someone up for maidstone! Hooray. Could do with getting out with my squad (3 strong) too! Free every pm I think. Am in Maidstone anyway for osteo on Tues am. (if I can find the place that is - don't know M'stone that well). This may work - I'm new but notice you started this thread!

MeanBean · 29/05/2004 23:20

Hi I'm up for another Maidstone meet up next week - a bit hazy on time?
