I do hope that there is someone out there from NI (Co Down specifically) that could meet up. Our Mums and Tots are great, but I would like to organise something a bit different!!!

There you go starfairy, glad you've met someone now... remember you're more than welcome on our Liverpool thread..

laloop · 05/02/2007 19:24

Hi starfairy
I'm from NI too

starfairy · 06/02/2007 10:46

Hi laloop good to hear from you. What part NI you from??

laloop · 06/02/2007 10:56

Hi starfairy, happy birthday to your dd today
Ds2 was 2 yesterday. We live in Belfast.

cremolafoam · 06/02/2007 10:58

Hi girls- i'm near belfast too.Isn't it a gorgeous day! Also have a dd who got her 11+ results on saturday so am going through the school criteria at the mo.

starfairy · 06/02/2007 11:00

Hope ur Ds2 had a lovely day. My Dd is having party at nursery with her friends today, wee pet is sooo excited. I'm off to work in a moment, what you at?

laloop · 06/02/2007 11:04

hi cremolafoam, think I was chatting to to you on one of the other NI threads a week or two ago (have namechanged from loopity since then)
How did your dd get on? I'm not sure what will be in place for my lo's now that the 11+ plus is under review. Have one in P2 and another in P3 at the moment, plus the toddler at home.

starfairy · 06/02/2007 11:05

Hi cremolafoam, it's an absolutely crackin day wont get to enjoy it though have to go to work now. Catch up with all you ladies later

laloop · 06/02/2007 11:07

Have a nice day at work, starfairy

cremolafoam · 06/02/2007 11:11

hi loopity/laloop and starfairy
she got an A- which of course we are all over the moon about- and really surprised too TBH.Yay! it means she has more options that we expected so i am trying to wade thru the school brochures and wishing we had been more optimistic and seen more opendays.it's is so hard to make decisions about dd's future based on stuff you only think you know.

laloop · 06/02/2007 11:19

That's brilliant, congratulations to your dd cremolafoam

How did your dinner go the other night btw, food sounded really scrummy. I'm trying to catch up with some housework this morning but very tired as ds2 up during night. Not helped that dh and I worked our way through a nice bottle of red last night after ds2's birthday tea, ah well

Was going to go out for a walk but it's really frosty here still despite being bright and sunny.

multitasker · 06/02/2007 11:43

Morning all. I'm going to have to get up from here and do some housework soon. Actually I think I will go and wash my hair - hadn't the energy earlier, am on anti biotics for a nasty throat, it's funny how the kids look at you when you say you are sick - no Mummy you can't be sick!! Anyway gotta get moving. Talk soon.

cremolafoam · 06/02/2007 11:49

thanks laloop.
dinner party was a geg.and went well but in a flash! tWo old friends stayed until 4am and we mnaged to drink almost everything in the house! then had to get up tHe next morning and go to view another school.....
BAAAAD MUMMY

I too must do housework. a mountain of ironing is staring me in the face.

laloop · 06/02/2007 12:02

lol, cremolafoam. Have had a couple of saturday mornings like that when I drop dd off to ballet class. All these yummy mummies and then me, looking like the wild woman of borneo with black teeth from the night before's red wine

laloop · 06/02/2007 12:19
