I do hope that there is someone out there from NI (Co Down specifically) that could meet up. Our Mums and Tots are great, but I would like to organise something a bit different!!!

rebi, i know what you mean. I found it hard to get info on where to go for mums and tots etc. I mostly had to get info of other mums from this site. thanks for those other ones i'll give them a go. The ards one would be handy - sounds fab!!

How'd you find going back to work? Did you ease in part time or did you throw yourself back in the deep end? I'm due back part time in January so trying to make most of the rest of mat leave.

Hi Aero,

Hope the weather picks up for you and doesn't spoil your trip too much!! Sure it will make you feel more at home, being sunny all the time just wouldn't be Norn Iron!!!!!

If it does you could try the Crazy golf at the Ice Bowl, Dundonald which is a good laugh!!

Anyone doing anything exciting tonight? I am trying to keep out of a large tin of Roses - failing miserably...Am going to hit Debenhams tomorrow, determined to find a great pair of grey trousers. I can justify another pair of trousers because of this freezing weather....

Hi multi-tasker!

I'm another norn irish mother! Sitting here having wee glass of wine or two

Hello all. Am back on the other side of the shuck now after a lovely week at home.

We went to W5 that day and had a great time - the kids loved it. We were there for ages. Pricey, but well worth a family ticket.

We visit Lisburn often, but strangely have only been to the leisure centre once. We tend to go to Castlereagh usually to swim as its dirt cheap and has a diving pool. Must do the Lisburn one again though. Kids would love it now that they're old enough to enjoy it more!

Will keep that website in mind for the next time - thanks rebi.

I never knew the Ice Bowl had crazy golf either. Good idea for the summer.

Thanks folks for all the ideas. Wil keep an eye on this thread and pop in from time to time to see how you're all doing.
