We can do Mon/Tue/Wed: That's me, ds1 (9) and ds2 (7), possibly dh. Flexible about location.

Any takers? Suggestions for venues?

well we're staying in Bowness - thats about as far as I can find on my own obviously if I bring dh et al with me then the world is our oyster

Oh I would love to come too but everything here is in flux atm - we have ggglimpopo's stepson coming for 2 weeks tomorrow, he and DS1 are going to be working some of the time at some random places with nothing pre-arranged - I don't think DS2 would be that keen on coming just with me - but if you arrange a definite date I'll do my best.

Ah - having said that it'd have to be Wed for me (I work Mon & Tues ). I will watch the thread anyway

You know moo is up next week, as well as jampots, roisin? Is that what made you think?

He is 13 too, jampots, but is a bit arms-length about MN meetups - I was having a conversation with DD1 at lunchtime with full-on MN nicknames and he was a giggling wreck, he thinks we're all bonkers!

I'm away tomorrow for a few days; but am happy to fit in with anything that's organised.

Can you keep bumping this to see if we can drag some more people in ... Like MARTHAMOO and CHATEE and AUNTYQUATED and GOBBLEDIGOOK [sp?] and JOOLSTOO and (who else have I missed?)...?

If no-one else is interested I might pop up to Bowness to say "Hi" over a coffee anyway Jampots. The boys want to go on a boat, and we need to try and track down two pairs of shoes ds1 lost at YMCA Lakeside last week!

I would love especially as you were all so lovely last year but my sister is up at the moment and we don't see that much of her, think she would be a bit put out if i disapeared to meet a load of cyber women!

we're travelling back on the thursday and depending on weather will possibly be stopping off at Blackpool on the way home so the children can do the beach thing so Thursday morning is possible for me too

We are at the hospital in the morning (9.15 appointment so may be out quick) and would have to be back in Barrow for 4pm (gymnastics) but may make lunch (depends if we can borrow the car too!)
