We can do Mon/Tue/Wed: That's me, ds1 (9) and ds2 (7), possibly dh. Flexible about location.

Any takers? Suggestions for venues?

I would love to come, but 10.30 a tad early for me. If DH can get time off work, we may come up for a long weekend. Will let you know.

Gingerbear - it would be great to see you.
10.30 start is definitely not obligatory. It's turning into quite a gathering, so I'm sure we'll be easy to find even if it's quite crowded later on.

Yes, I may not be there by 10.30 but definitely before 12.

Would love to but it's a bit far for me to travel from the North East of Carlisle and I work on Thursdays.

Have fun though!

That's a shame Rhuby - next time?

Giraffski - sounds good - I'm sure Jools will be on later to arrange!

There is on the field part of Fell Foot overlooking the lake. If I'm not meeting you first I'm aiming for 10-10.30.

The forecast looks OK - it was looking a bit damp, but atm is promising to be OK.
You might want to bring light camping chairs or deck chairs if you have them, and don't want to sit on the ground all day!

GDG/JT or anyone else who knows - Can you paddle/swim in the lake from Fellfoot? I need to know whether to bring swim stuff!

Not that I'm aware of roisin, but it's not something mine would do at their age anyway. There is a sloping part down to the lake where I'm pretty sure you could paddle, but I'm not sure about swimming.

Think you have to go quite far for a proper swim , can paddle in the lake though.
