As Nanou01 has declared me group leader here's a new thread to try and arrange our next meet-up

Oldies and newbies equally welcome :)Grin

I'm pretty free for the rest of May, bar some dentist appointments

June is very barren so any entry in my social calendar would be most welcome.

Meet without the kids any evening
Meet with the kids only weekends

When and where would whoever like to meet? Grin

Hello Smile

I'm fairly new here-am I too late to join in?

suejonez · 09/06/2006 16:20

Never too late - are you local then?

suejonez · 09/06/2006 16:21

bloody silly question - you're hardly going to travel half way across the country to meet us!

suejonez · 09/06/2006 16:22

And I'm fairly new too so you'll be in good company.

rabbitrabbit · 09/06/2006 16:58

hi sue

I'm in Teddington which is pretty close. It would be good to meet some new people to honest!

suejonez · 09/06/2006 17:05

Know Teddington quite well as my mum used to live there for a while. I'm in Kew.

rabbitrabbit · 09/06/2006 17:09

We go to climbers and creepers quite alot so know Kew fairly well. Have you lived there long?
Have you already met people on this thread?

suejonez · 09/06/2006 21:53

lived in Kew about 3 years and sheen for a couple before that. No, met no-one yet - all new to me!

MrsBigD · 10/06/2006 11:03

rabbitrabbit... welcome :)

some of us have met on the odd occasion :)

I can vouch that Uwila, Nanou1, Yankuponthames, Unicorn, Slink and Trying2bgood so far have not displayed any signs of being mad chainsaw weilding axe murderers Grin.

Welcome to join us on 15th June if you want see our other thread in meet-ups 'Wine & Mousaka Ealing'

MrsBigD · 12/06/2006 18:38

OP posts:
YanksUponThames · 13/06/2006 11:28

Hi MrsBigD! Yes, I just found out I can come Thursday! Just sent you some email. Sorry for being dither-y; if it's easier for your planning if I don't come, because of my delay in RSVPing, then I understand entirely...

Look forward to seeing y'all again!

YanksUponThames · 13/06/2006 11:37

Hiya rabbitrabbit! I was just in the Teddington train station the other day, as it happens. Looks like a nice area (and easy for me to get to). How is it to live there? It looks pretty and quiet (at least around the station).

YanksUponThames · 13/06/2006 11:42

SnowBoo, hope you're feeling better. (I was Very Pregnant during horrible summer weather too. No fun at all!) At least this morning it's a lot less vile than it has been. Nice to smell the cool rain early this morning!

suejonez · 13/06/2006 12:36

Do you want a lift home on Thursday Yanks?

My mum used to live in teddington - quiet residential area about 15 min walk from station and a couple of her friends still live there. It is a nice area and Bushey park close for the kids. No tube though but train service into Waterloo isn't bad from what I remember.

suejonez · 13/06/2006 22:27

Not sure what time I can get there on Thursday as I have to get out of central London then pick the car up. Tubes have been crap this week so I could be late. Start without me...

MrsBigD · 14/06/2006 09:27

no worries SJ I promise I won't drink all of their wine before you get there LOL

OP posts:
rabbitrabbit · 14/06/2006 09:52

Hello again.
Thanks for the invite, though I won't be able to make this Thursday Envy

I'm definitely going to come to the next meet up though so be I'll keep an eye out for you all Smile

MrsBigD · 14/06/2006 09:58

So will you all be carrying boden catalogues so I can recognise you? (actually not sure that I know what a Boden catalogue looks like)

MrsBigD · 15/06/2006 10:26

as Uwila will surely point out... look for the woman with glassed and shoulder length brown hair UNDER the table LOL that'll be me Grin
Don't worry that place isn't all that big you'll see us as soon as you come thorugh the door

OP posts:
Uwila · 15/06/2006 10:55

Okay, how many fricken threads do we need?????

I'm wearing a red turtleneck and black trousers. I have brown hair and white skin and speak with a Yankee accent. As much as I'd like to be under the table with MrsBigD, I'll be driving tonight. Sad

And I just have to add COME ON ENGLAND. Speaking of which, I need to find somewhere to go watch the game or at least the second half of it before we meet. Anyone fancy meeting somewhere in Ealing for some footie? Say around 6:00?
