can't sorry - I'm at work that day. An extra day I usually work MTW. Yes, Fairydust - just around the corner - my ds goes to Clowns in Ripley!! Well at sainsburys actually.

my dd is going to the other clowns as it's just up the road from us.

Clowns is really good isn't it? Does she enjoy it? I've already booked a place for the next one and it's not due until July!! I think the staff (at Butterley) all realy genuinely care about ds's welfare, they are lovely people

she's only 22months - but have decided to send her there rather than a main stream nursery at three as we've heard such fantastic reports about it.

i got that feeling when we visited - that they really cared - they even called once were home to see if we had any more questions which i thought was nice.

FD - sounds good; I don't work Fridays (or Mondays either). I have a ball that night but won't be getting ready till after 5pm so I am free all day. I will have DD with me. Just let me know when you know for sure.

Hiya Ladies,

Janhr, what time we going 10.30, we'll arrange a time next week as we going up there then. We can see how long it takes.

WM, how the devil are you, long time, DS asks about your DS all the time, espec golf in the park

Mez, if Janhr and I get there early enough and you can make it to the Station before 10.30, I can maybe pick u up from the Station and drop you back at the Station after???? Just a thought

So we all agreed, 19th Feb, Bumpi's-Derby, for 10.30ish.

We'll have to agreed etc a meet point, and maybe wait for others, we also maybe need mobiles, I have Janhr's and Mez's and Hulab's unless you've changed it, so who else, Oh yes FD and WM. Lets make sure we have everyone covered so if people get lost or late we know, oops my miss organised head on again.

See you ladies soooooooooon

I think mine is same mobile number Jan but will send you it again incase. I did lose (stolen ) a mobile but can't remember if it was before/after last meet. Think it was before as I only have Wedgiesmum's number now - suspect they were on lost phone (don't worry it was cancelled straight away that day).

Cool, now have Hula's mobi. Wedgiesmum, can you email JANHR or me with your mobi, in case we get lost or late etc.

FD you coming too, email me or JANHR OR HULA, with your mobi, and we'll reply with ours then if you et lost or late we know.

Mez I have yours, so anyone else coming to this email us with your mobi so we can all meet

I just heard that the Brum meeting people got lost etc, and missed out, so I would hate that to happen with us

Report
Hulababy · 22/01/2004 21:57

Good idea. I remember using it last time as traffic was a bit bad and I was going to be late, so is useful.

HI ... I'll pop along to bumpis (seeing as I live close)

Be there from about 11.30 and ds doesn't finish nursery until then.

Look forward to meeting you Aelexya

Ronniebaby · 22/01/2004 22:25

Aelex Excellent, I may go for lunch after so I'll be there

Report
Hulababy · 22/01/2004 22:28

I will be having lunch there too. Got to spend enough time there to justify the drive from Sheffield.

Will have to find it too - not far off of A38 into town is it?

Report
Aelexya · 22/01/2004 22:34

It's not too bad .... fairly direct route ... off A38 onto A52, off at footie ground and then over to Alvaston.

Check out multimap and look for Ascot Drive

FD - my DH was really wary the first time but I did explain to him how it isn't that different to agreeing to meet someone you just met at a M&T group, or at the park. And it is a public place too. It is just because he cares about you. But I am sure he doesn't want you not to be able to meet people either - just possibly doesn't understand how MN works; my Dh doesn't either really.

Just read your other thread on the playgroup disappointments - sorry it didn't go well; listening to people winging isn't really what you want from a playgroup is it. If you ever just fancy a bit of a wander, maybe some lunch and a natter - pop on the bus/train to Sheffield. I am around most Monday and Fridays, and only know one other person here with a child too (friend from way before we were pg). I have met with JanHR, Robbinebaby and Wedgiesmum so they can vouch for me being a genuine mum and nothing more. I am happy to send you my details too so your DH knows that I do exist properly.
