Please don't take this the worng way hula -
think i will be comming but will make my own way there - although you seem really nice dh doesn't want me getting a lift with a stranger so to speak.

I mean it in the nicest way.

So 10 / 1030 ???

Hulababy · 16/01/2004 08:49

No problem at all FD. I completely understand. TBH DH said very similar about me picking up a stranger! Just didn't want you to miss out; glad you can get there without transport.

10:30am would be good for me, although can do a bit earlier if necessary.

fairydust · 16/01/2004 14:18

yeh i can do earlier if need be - just shows our hubby's care.

and thankyou for the thought - i'm really looking forward to meeting you and your dd

Hulababy · 16/01/2004 16:04

Ooh goodies, I like all this - makes me feel like I have a social life

JanHR · 16/01/2004 16:11

Excellent, 10:30 then. Gives me chance for a normal get up time, and have time for breakfast!

mez75 · 18/01/2004 21:46

I thinkmyself and Ds may be coming although it will be on a train as it only takes 40mins. Can anyone tell me where abouts Markeaton Park Play area is and if I could get a bus/walk to it or is it way out in the sticks somewhere?

JanHR · 18/01/2004 21:53

Hi mez, it would probably be easier id someone could pick you up from the station. I have checked arrivas website and although the 29 goes that way it is an hourly service from the city centre which is at least a 10-15 min walk from the station.

WedgiesMum · 18/01/2004 21:56

Am I going mad?? Aren't we going to Bumbi's not Markeaton Park??

mez75 · 18/01/2004 21:56

So it's not that far from station i could walk it if i had directions or jump in a taxi!

mez75 · 18/01/2004 21:57

No scrap the taxi idea as i wouldn't have the car seat! If i could get directions maybe!

nutcracker · 18/01/2004 22:04

MEZ75 - Where would you be getting the train from ???

WedgiesMum · 18/01/2004 22:05

Sorry Bumpi's - oops too much chocolate, sugar excitement taking over!!!

Would normally have offered a lift as have all spare car seat accoutrements, but still not sure if I can actually make it yet. I'm sure someone will come up trumps though..

nutcracker · 18/01/2004 22:18

I would have no idea how to get there ( i got lost on the brummeet and i live in brum)plus I would have 3 kids in tow, so not sure if I can come.

clairabelle · 18/01/2004 22:21

Nutty what about Solihull next fri with mez75? sorry to hijack thread.

nutcracker · 18/01/2004 22:23

No sorry I can't make that one, I have a dd1's parents meeting and i can't really change it as I was a bit picky about the times.

clairabelle · 18/01/2004 22:23
