Hiya Ladies,

I'm up for a Derby meet or anything and I can bring Janhr with me.

Hulababy, I've not been with it, I didn;t realise you'd changed your name. How you doing.

FD, your DD is always welcome, and maybe in the summer when it's warm you can come to Markeaton Park and DD can crawl on the grass etc, I'm sure she'd still love it.

Hi Ronniebaby.

Did we decide on a date?

Report
Hulababy · 14/01/2004 21:39

I found 19th Feb early; that is half term so we'd get 2.5 hours. Wonder how busy it will be. Can only do Monday and Fridays in term time though.

I will e-mail Wedgiesmum and see if she is up for it too but I think she works Thursdays.

Hula why aren't you on MSN

I always forget to load it up unless I am actively using it. I stopped it coming on automatically as it slowed down the speed of machine when booting.

Ok sweetie I'll let you off, I can only do tuesdays and Thursdays as I work M-W-F, even in term time or holidays, and DS goes to Pre-school Tues & Thurs 12.45 - 315 altho he can miss it for one occasion.. Ouch he starts big school in September, my little boy is growing

Well Thursday 19th is fine by me as it is half term. What about everyone else? I can do morning or afternoon but try not to make it too early as it takes me just under an hour to get into the centre.

FD - I can pick you up if you want, no problems. I am sure your car seat will fit no problem. My boot isn't big though. Would we need pushchairs?

Hula, Jan & I are going to try it out next week, so we'll let you know what it's like and what you need, as it's half term on the 19th I can do all day, but DS does usually eat around 12 - 1.30. How is DD, I bet she is Soooooooooooooo cute now.

Altho anytime suits us, just not too early.

FD - Welcome to the Derby meeters, nice to have you on board.

She is great thanks, although now she talks so much she can be a madam too Bet you DS has grown up lots too!

Let us all know how you get on at the soft play and what it is like. I think it does have a cafe there so we could maybe tie lunch in with the meet?

Hi y'all and a happy new year. Sorry not been around for a while as have been away and have had the house of the very sick . DH is off work with sinusitis (this is the 4th week!)and I've been in hospital (think I've got gall stones).

Hulababy alerted me to this and I'm quite interested. Can do half term as am on holiday . DS started school last week and it will be his first half term so have taken time off to celebrate. Not sure if I will be away that end of the week or not, but will let you know for definite in the next week or so.

Glad to see a new Derby-meeter fairydust, and nice to see you other ladies around again! DS and DD have been asking about you all, so will be excited if we can come!!

When i called then, I asked about the cafe. I serves healthy options and no chips, so that will be good for those of us in the bigmamas club

Good to hear Wedgiesmum! Not seen your lovely littlies for a while so it'll be really good.

Cafe sounds good Jan. I will be joining you on the healthy options! DD doesn't like chips anyway - usually a pain with children's meals. At least here she'll be okay.

And also having read this better and talked to Hulababy (well emailed her) fairydust if you want a Sheffield/Chesterfield meet then I live near Clay Cross/Alfreton and can do a pick up in term time for mondays or tuesday afternoons if you could get to Alfreton/Clay Cross/Chesterfield. There's quite a bit of soft play around here that we could do, as well as going up towards Meadowhall with Hulababy. Is that helpful??

Report
Hulababy · 15/01/2004 20:55

I'm pretty easy on time. Just remember I have to get there from Sheffield (via FD's town???).
