Any Eastleigh/Southampton mums here?

I'm looking to move to Eastleigh or Southampton and I wanted to try and make some new friends in the area. So hello! Who are you and where abouts are you? Also, do any of you know any private landlords who take DSS and don't go through an agency??

Hi all just though I would add that if it is raining tomorrow I probably won't make it as I'm not sure if I will be up to controling 5 kids in a crontrolled space!! I don't mind letting the run round outside but trying to keep three 2 years olds a 4 year old and a 10 year old to stay in one place feels like a bit of a struggle I'm afraid!

Hi all... And welcome to Malteser. I have an 18 yr old son but he doesn't live with me now. Then my 2 girls are 12 (13 in May) and just 3 this week!
Try to come along saturday if you can make it to Victoria Park Cafe in Netley. We are meeting there at 1pm.

hi mumsnet. it now saturday a.m. are you guys still meeting at victoria park. believe its netley and not netley marsh. yes ? would love to meet some mumsnetters. think my 5 yr ds will enjoy the park. Its a lovely sunny spring like day ! !

apparently yahoo got it wrong, the weather on the radio last night said costal areas in the south should be fine today, it appears me and my little girl have food poisoning, next time I'll cook myself, instead of buying fast food.

It was a beautiful day, contrary to earlier weather reports. Met up with Chjlly, and Maltesers just after 1pm. Lovely mummies. Kids had a great time running around. Had to leave early as middle child was out in town with her friend and her mother and forgot her key.
Would be great to catch up again soon, now the good weather is with us :)
