I'm looking to move to Eastleigh or Southampton and I wanted to try and make some new friends in the area. So hello! Who are you and where abouts are you? Also, do any of you know any private landlords who take DSS and don't go through an agency??

I did think that it may be a bit cold! but thought I would put it as an option as I didn't know if Romsey was to far out! I am meeting some of the Poole lot tonight so may mention it to them too!

pinklilith · 02/03/2006 16:42

Any more ideas for our meet up ie times etc?

pinklilith · 04/03/2006 10:13

Does 12pm sound good to people or is it too early, and are we meeting there or at the station?

OP posts:
chjlly · 04/03/2006 17:18

I'll be driving so can meet you there if that is ok 12 may be a litle ewarly cos of lunches maybe 1.30 may be better for us I can do 12 though if it is easier with everyone else - will will just have to eat out!! :o

pebblemum · 04/03/2006 18:14

1.30 would be a bit easier for me too as DS1 has karate until 12 so it will give him time to get changed and have a quick lunch before catching the train.

pinklilith · 04/03/2006 22:57

1.30 is fine. And we meet at the place, how do we tell who is who?

hi everyone, i'm originally from eastleigh went to school in chandlersford and now live in hedge end, had good friends that lived in wodehouse lane(very noisey you are right under the flight path, planes going over all the time, would drive me mad.) hedge end is a fab place to live, plenty of clubs for the kids ,good schools, loads of great shops, train station good bus routes to eastleigh , southampton and krazy kingdom is really easy to find just a 5/8 minute walk from the train station and is on the bus route.eastleigh is ok to live but not much going on there, i've found hedge end a much friendler place, wouldn't move any where else now.

chjlly · 06/03/2006 21:36

How many of us are there actually going on the 18th? are you going to join us Perfumelady?

perfumelady · 06/03/2006 22:20

chjlly, where are you going s/sams in romsey?

chjlly · 06/03/2006 23:02

Yes that's the one!

handlemecarefully · 06/03/2006 23:49

S/Sams in Romsey - are you sure? It's rather grubby. (Sorry to rain on the parade)

Why don't you lot try Kids2day in Eastleigh / Chandlers Ford. Only opened last November so clean and fresh. Also has proper (Costa) coffee.
