I was in Herts for 5 years until last year and it did my head (napper/box insert Scottish word here ) in! Couldn't cope with the thought of ds growing up wiv a suvvern accent and missed my family. Also got fed up with well-meaning but irritating folks asking where my bagpipes were/did we have electricity in Scotland/how much haggis I ate a week etc. etc. yawn yawn.

Popped on to see how it had gone for you all - sounds good. Jealous, me no I love meeting new people .

DDs rubbish all day but perked up towards evening and are reasonably okay now I think. DH however is another matter having rolled home from the Rugby utterly hammered and is now shaking the windows with his snoring - and obviously ensuring I can't sleep. Having a cup of tea and decanting to the spare room in the hope of dropping off again.
