Afraid I can't do a Saturday atm DP unavailable and don't think I'm up to bringing both 18 mo DD1 and 3week old DD2 on my own into Glasgow on the train on a Saturday, could manage one of them but not the two, v maybe next time.

Hello

I'm sorry for hijacking this thread but I wanted to say "hi". I can't come to this meet up as I currently live in Australia but I am hoping to move back home next year with my hubby and two wee boys and have joined mumsnet in an attempt to meet some mums in the Glasgow area so that I know someone when I get back!

So hello everyone, hope you all have a great night out and I look forward to chatting to you all!

Mel

Mum to Ally (2/9/04)
Monty (30/11/05)

mcmudda · 13/02/2006 22:27

We're now looking at:

Loobie
Judebear
Aimsmum
Prettybird
Gomez
Mummygow
McMudda
Toothache?

Toothache - I will meet you one of these days - honest!

mcmudda · 13/02/2006 22:27

And Vitomum!

Toothache · 13/02/2006 22:28

lol McMudda - How weird would it be if we actually already knew each other!!

mcmudda · 13/02/2006 22:40

Ah - there you are!
Eh? DO you think there's a chance of us knowing each other? Now that would be freaky deaky!
Have you always been in Falkirk? I've only ever been to the wheel!!
I've always been in Glasgow (apart from a blip down south) - but I never forget a face - maybe we were separated at birth!

Judebear · 14/02/2006 23:17

so the meet ups still on then? I havent been able to get online for a few days...computer playing up

btw, i can't get my yahoo mail to work, has anyone else ever experienced this?!

aarrgh!

gscrym · 15/02/2006 00:10

As far as I can tell from my shifts, I should be able to come to this one if that's okay. Will have to bring DS (3).

chapsmum · 15/02/2006 22:16

can i come???

paolosgirl · 15/02/2006 22:20

I'd love to come - but I'm terrified!! I don't know any of you. Anyone else feel like this?!

mcmudda · 15/02/2006 22:51

PG - I won't have met anyone before unless gscrym comes - we had an exclusive meet up last year when everyone else backed out at the last minute - I was only spotted cos of my hideous woolly hat I don't think i've really "spoken" to many either, but I'll have dd for moral support!

gscrym · 16/02/2006 09:33

I remember wandering about outside Princes Square for ages and just as I was leaving, I saw said wooly hat. I felt a lot better after seeing it as I was too shy to go up to random Glaswegians and ask 'are you from Mumsnet?'

mawbroon · 16/02/2006 09:50

Paolosgirl - I want to come too but don't know anybody either. We can be terrified together! I'll be there with my 4 month old ds in a sling.
