Anyone in the Lancing, Shoreham, Worthing area?
I am a 30 year old working mum.Moved to Sussex in 2000 to go to uni, most people I met moved back home afterwards but I met someone and got married.I have a daughter almost two and some good friends but no one with children and you all know it changes everything. Time, money and energy to go out is hugely decreased and even if you don't want to talk babies, schools, nurseries etc its your life now and childless single friends are on a different planet-or should I say we are!
Anyone near me who is on my wavelength?
please get in touch.

hiya all
well 24th at flying fortress is on then,
For those who fancy a coffee one morning- Elaine and Janeyhills I think? what about mighty mites in lancing Leisure Centre?
Tuesday morning any good? its open from 9.30 its a big sports hall full of soft play, ball pit etc and you can get a decent bite to eat and coffee if you want.
Elaine, I moved to lancing just over year ago, lived in Worthing for a year before that and Brighton for three years before that. I am from the Midlands really but I have a developed a few good friendships down here by now/ No family around though. My neighbours are old too, most people in lancing tend to be, its a bit of a nightmare but fairly cheap for property.
be nice to meet any of you, maybe Mighty Mites on a tuesday morning and the flying fortress one and then once weve all met we could go for a mums evening
I could do this tues at Mighty Mites, or next. I will come on here monday evening to see if anyone wants to meet there this tuesday, let me know what time

Hi there chocolatemummy and janeyhills, sorry but I now have to work next Tuesday, childcare arrangements have been changed (I really have to do something about my unreliable childcare - anyone know of a good nursery near to lancing?? Does your DD go to nursery rebecca?). I will be free on Thursday 16 if you could rearrange? Hope we get to meet up one day!

chocolatemummy · 10/02/2006 19:15

I can do tues or thurs mornings so up to you two?
My daughter goes to Boundstone Nursery two days per week and she loves it. Boundstone Senior school has a bad reputation but Boundstone Nursery has an excellent one and the last two ofsteds have been very good and outstanding. Can't do much better than that!
Otherwise there is Noahs Ark by the leisure centre ?
Good luck, we must meet as we are so close, I am happy to meet up on thursday morning instead if thats okay with janeyhills

Emilee are you coming to Mighty Mites in Lancing? blimey, its quite a way you know, but hopefully we can stay for a while and maybe have some lunch or something? its open 9.30-2.30 o I'm thinking if we meet about 10 or 11 that gives us a good 3 hours to do lots of chatting and coffess and abbes can do lots of playing. I'm hoping because its half term that its not too busy?
Anyway, any one who wants to come is welcome and

I WILL PUT BOO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TABLE!

Boo as in the tv character, you all should know that?
