Anyone in the Lancing, Shoreham, Worthing area?
I am a 30 year old working mum.Moved to Sussex in 2000 to go to uni, most people I met moved back home afterwards but I met someone and got married.I have a daughter almost two and some good friends but no one with children and you all know it changes everything. Time, money and energy to go out is hugely decreased and even if you don't want to talk babies, schools, nurseries etc its your life now and childless single friends are on a different planet-or should I say we are!
Anyone near me who is on my wavelength?
please get in touch.

Eriswell Rd is in a good area of Worthing, good Indian restaurant nearby. Isn't the flat massively cheaper than Brighton and Hove?

its quiet in Worthing but not as quiet as the surrounding areas, Lancing, Ferring, Steytning etc. There are 'a few' nice bars opened up in worthing and there are alot of god places to eat, shops are just your basic high street stuff really.BUT, its very safe, most of it and quite a nice place to bring up kids and Brighton is just 10-15 minutes away so for the sharp increase in price its not worth it. sure you'll be fine

I live in Worthing and I like it, I think its a nice safe place to bring up children. have you decided where you are going to put your youngest dd, they are so many nurseries here and child minders.

Brighton is about 15 mins drive away

georgiasmummy · 16/08/2006 15:59

Hi there, I also live in Worthing and have a 16 month old dd.

Novembergirl · 05/09/2006 12:05

Hi Georgiasmummy, I have not been on this site for ages as life seems to be so hectic. Just thought I would say hello, though, as I live quite close (Arundel) and have a 18 month old DS. I find it rather difficult to meet up with other mums because of work but do let me know if you would like to chat by email or meet up one Friday.

janeyhills · 05/09/2006 18:27

hi every one,
let me know if anyone is going to be meeting up .
ds is starting school on friday leaving his 18 month old brother very bored...
