Anyone in the Lancing, Shoreham, Worthing area?
I am a 30 year old working mum.Moved to Sussex in 2000 to go to uni, most people I met moved back home afterwards but I met someone and got married.I have a daughter almost two and some good friends but no one with children and you all know it changes everything. Time, money and energy to go out is hugely decreased and even if you don't want to talk babies, schools, nurseries etc its your life now and childless single friends are on a different planet-or should I say we are!
Anyone near me who is on my wavelength?

Hi there, I'm still up for Mighty Mites on Thursday, can everyone make 10:30? 11 is a bit late for me as my DD will be flagging by about 12.........still I should be able to stretch to a bit of lunch. By the way thanks for the advice on Boundstone Lynzie/CM, I have an appointment for next week!

well, Farmerted and I met and it was really nice to meet someone else from my area,
Not sure if Flying Fortress is happening next friday? anyone still thinking of going because its a long drive if no ones going to be there?
Maybe some of us could meet up for a drink one evening,
Janeyhills and emilee would be nice to meet you with farmerted too?

hope that you get into nanying, its more rewarding than working in a nursrey. but you have to have friends..... i moved form bristol to chi didnt know anyone and found it hard to make friends. still trying..........

Yes lets arrange a drink in sunny Worthing
I can make wed or alternate friday and sat evenings.
Janeyhills, yes the meeting at Mighty Mites went well,I must admit I was quite nervous in the morning in case it was someone I just had nothing in common with, always a risk from and area like lancing.
Flying Fortress next friday is on then. 2ish. if anyone needs a lift from Worthing area I can take one adult and one child?

Dear all in the Chichester area, I am a 34 year old mum of two girls, 3.5 and 9 months. We are in Fishbourne and need to make ourselves some new friends to have some fun with. I work part-time, wed-Fri so if there are any like minded mummies out there at the beginning of the week let me know....look forward to hearing from you.

Sorry Janeyhills/Chocolatemummey, I cannot make MM this Tuesday as DD is staying with my Mum. Thursday is generally a better day for me. Maybe some of us could meet at Fun Junction in Worthing one day....might be easier and you don't need to drive?

I see you have a meet up at the Flying Fortress on Friday the 24th is that still on ? I have a daughter 3 in May and I live in Chichester.

If anyone can come, I may try to make it along tho I have to be back by 4 for a plumber ! I have had a bit of a rubbish winter and need some cheering up

Hi CheeseandHam , its sleeting here ! definitely not going to the animal park today too cold. Yes 6th March sounds like a possibility, Adventure Warehouse is nearby so thats easy for both of us. As far as a drink out is concerned, how about going for a bite to eat? there is a good little thai buffet place on Warwick street opposite argos in worthing, I think its £13.95 eat as much as you like.
We could do a met up there one wednesday or friday evening?
how about wednesday 8th or fri 10th march
