KaraStarbuckThrace · 28/01/2011 17:39

I need to buy golden syrup and chocolate chips!!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 02/02/2011 18:49

Would anyone be free for a cakey meet up on Tuesday 15th February? Have checked my diary and I am free then!

juneybean · 02/02/2011 19:22

Ooo yes I think I am Grin

KaraStarbuckThrace · 02/02/2011 20:02

I don't mind if we do cake or lunch... or even both Grin

LeggyBlondeNE · 03/02/2011 10:24

Yep I'm free - lunch would be better for me, ALlthough of course one can eat cake at lunch...!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 03/02/2011 10:46

Shall we make it lunch then? I can come up for about 12pm?

juneybean · 03/02/2011 17:55

Ooo yes, where were you fancying?

StealthPolarBear · 04/02/2011 07:59

Morning everyone!
Just remembered about this thread

:o Kara - can't remember your possible girl names

I might be able to do lunch on the 15th - where?

KaraStarbuckThrace · 04/02/2011 14:46

Usual place, Cafe Continental. Unless you'd rather go somewhere different for a change.

How about Vennels? or MaccyD Grin

DD will be called Chlamydia Chardonnay.

Or do you think Chardonnay Chlamydia sounds better? DH does have a problem spelling Chlamydia though...

LeggyBlondeNE · 04/02/2011 17:02

Much as I like Vennels, the queuing for food is a pain with little ones! I like the table service at CC!

Although I also heart the Slug and Lettuce for both food and table service, and it has chairs that are great for BFing!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 04/02/2011 17:20

There are more cakes at CC Grin

Never been to the Slug and Lettuce.

StealthPolarBear · 04/02/2011 18:57

Chardonnay Chlamydia, then you can shorten to Char which is really classy. And can get away with just middle initial.
I quite like Slug n Lettuse (was a bit downhill last time we went mind) and set up sofas etc are much better for children rather than proper seats.

StealthPolarBear · 04/02/2011 18:57

No cakes though ... that is a downside.

juneybean · 04/02/2011 19:01

No cakes?! What inpropriety is this?!?!?

KaraStarbuckThrace · 04/02/2011 22:07

Can we sneak cakes in?

Do they do pudding and custard? I could cope with that Grin

LeggyBlondeNE · 05/02/2011 09:29

Kara - I think so

StealthPolarBear · 05/02/2011 14:21

Shock at 'lettuse' - my apologies

StealthPolarBear · 05/02/2011 15:43

anyone need a car seat to use as a spare? Isofix base, or can just use the seatbelts on the seat

KaraStarbuckThrace · 05/02/2011 19:27

We've just bought a http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00352METK/ref=ox_ya_os_product Graco Vivo travel system half price from Amazon.

We only bought it a couple of days ago and it has gone up in price by £25!!!

KaraStarbuckThrace · 05/02/2011 19:28

K/ref=oxyaos_product Graco Vivo travel system

KaraStarbuckThrace · 05/02/2011 19:31

Graco Vivo travel system

Third time lucky.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 08/02/2011 12:30

Bump!!

Indith · 08/02/2011 12:37

Argh I keep forgetting about this thread. My brain says "oh I must see about another meet" but it never does it when the computer is on. Bumped into Frozen in the market place at the weekend. I could do 15th I think :)

Anyway. Feb half term I propose:

A daytime meet at Beamish so we can see everyone who wouldn't come to a night out and all ages of dcs are happy.

A night out on either the 19th or 26th.

What do you think? Now it is on my lists I'll try to keep it bumped. If you see anyone then chuck them this way.

juneybean · 08/02/2011 13:44

I love Beamish! Grin
