I know we've tried to sort something before and we're all very anti-social but the summer hols are on their way, so how about trying to arrange a meet up for August sometime?

We could have a picnic in Oswestry or Telford park, if we want to do it on the cheap? Or maybe go further afield and spend the day at Chester Zoo or somewhere? Or even soft play? There's a nice new(ish) one in Os, or Wrexham have a big one as well.

Hello! Ok, so the ideas for places to meet are:

Chester Zoo

Telford Town Park

The Quarry (Shrews)

Oswestry Hill Fort/park

So shall we have a vote and see where everyone prefers? I'm quite happy to go anywhere, although I can't promise not to get lost on the way

Also, any ideas for dates? I can't do the first week of the summer holidays but have no plans at all for the rest of it, unless I'm asked to work but that won't be every week.

Vote for the Quarry here, but would be happy with any.

Been away already this year and no school holidays yet (too young) ie no specific weeks - so will be there if I'm not working that day

Happy for wherever, but I work mon-thurs and am away the first week of August, so if I can make the day/time that is picked, I will, if not, maybe next time

I prob wouldn't go to the zoo because of cost and becasue i'm due to go with family etc. but any of the others is good for me

Hi everyone, just wanted to say that I am still around but have had some stuff happen this week so haven't been able to get online as much. How does the quarry in Shrews sound to everyone? I think most people fancy that? And if that goes ok, maybe we could do another meet in Telford or somewhere?

sheepgomeep no, Eagles Meadow was v quiet actually, I was surprised! We're back there tomorrow, going to F&Bs as its DDs birthday. Is Shrewsbury too far for you to go? I have room for 2 in my car, do you have DC? If you can get to Os, you're more than welcome to have a lift

Ooh, can I butt in and come too, please? the loopiest bit of the loop in the quarry is an easy walk from home for me, but I'm happy to fit in.
