Hi all so after putting on 2stone in last 3 years am now in the overweight category with bmi over 28. Having found no motivation but getting more and more fed up with myself, I've taken the plunge after reading loads of reviews about exante have brought myself the 2 week box, its coming tomorrow so fingers crossed I can stick to it!
Anyone else starting it or currently doing it?

@LordOfTheOnionRings I'm hoping to have 8-10lb loss after 3 weeks, then 5-7 in the last 2 weeks so that would be on track for the full 2 stone :)

LordOfTheOnionRings · 02/02/2021 16:22

@Brademajo good luck! Wow, the thought of losing that much weight by March is so exciting! Are you going to treat yourself to a nice item of clothing as you will have probably dropped a dress size!

Brademajo · 02/02/2021 17:54

@LordOfTheOnionRings- probably! but to be honest I have nice clothes that I can't wear comfortably so it would just be nice to look and feel good in the clothes I already have!

Im also a little worried about my job [so dont want to spend money] but there's nothing I can do about it so just enjoying furlough until it runs out!

par05 · 03/02/2021 19:46

@Brademajo good idea, atm I'm not really doing anything other than maintaining. But yep if I could lose 10lbs I'd be under 11 st for the first time in 3 and a half years ! And that would be amazing! You guys are all doing so well and as you said we have all lost weight, and in a much better place than when we started 😊

Hi all! I have just weighed myself (I am doing the 1200) and I have lost 7.5 pounds!!! In one week! I will just add that I am over 18 stone soooo there is a lot to lose. Still wish I had weighed myself in the first week. How is everyone else doing? X

Brademajo · 06/02/2021 08:39

@LordOfTheOnionRings That's fantastic! Keep on track - well done!

I'm still waiting for my skinny sauces! Had an apology email that deliveries are slow - ordered 2 weeks ago! Hmm

Toffee drops in coffee is a super treat - I make one in the evening

The burst 'supplements' are ok - I dont think I would buy them but having them free on top of my order was great

On the whole Im continuing along...will weigh in 2 weeks.

Again well done!

par05 · 06/02/2021 09:33

Well done @LordOfTheOnionRings that's amazing! And @Brademajo I have the skinny caramel syrup in my coffee it's so nice!

LordOfTheOnionRings · 06/02/2021 10:05

Options salted caramel hot chocolate is my way of beating off any cravings. Soooo good.

par05 · 08/02/2021 09:43

Morning @par05 never mind - get back on it this week :)

My skinny sauces finally have been delivered 20 mins ago! yay! I just had a taste of the tomato sauce - its very sweet but with hardly any calories I'm impressed :)
I also bought Mayo - bit watery so jurys out on that one..
The chip shop curry sauce is excellent!!

I havent tried the others yet - will post when opened :)

par05 · 08/02/2021 10:27

@Brademajo the chip shop curry one is lovely ! Haven't tried the others yet, yep before I would be devastated putting weight back on, but now feel it helps writing it here, and then I tend to get back on it!

Morning everybody! Hope you’re all doing well. Lost another few pounds last week, so total loss since 4 jan is 1 stone 4lbs! 4lbs away from breaking through my next stone landmark. Would love to do that this week.
Nice to see you’re all still on board. @LordOfTheOnionRings, well done on getting your new scales!
@Brademajo , my sauces turned up today, with a free bottle of chilli sauce that my husband will love.
@par05, that weight will go pretty soon..
It’s DH birthday on 19th so we are totally ignoring the plan, for that day only. I am so looking forward to it.

Does anyone else have an omelette maker? I am using mine most days, and the omelette really fills me up.I have it with cauliflower rice or salad!

Keep going everybody.it’s a brand new week, and 4 weeks to 8 March, when lockdown will be reviewed again. We could easily lose half a stone by then!
Excuse my language in the 2nd photo - it made me laugh!

Well done! And Love it @garyunicorn 😁 yes you are right 4 weeks till march 8th let's crack on! Also thinking about getting an omelette maker they sound really good.

OP posts:
GaryUnicorn · 08/02/2021 14:48

I love the omelette maker. I just beat the eggs, pour them in throw in the other ingredients and it cooks in 8 minutes. I tear up a cheese string and put it on the top before cooking. I am hopeless at making them in a frying pan! It doesn’t feel much like a salad day today. I am in London, we have about an inch of snow. I have had a couple of options hot chocolate sachets today!

LordOfTheOnionRings · 10/02/2021 18:12

This is probably some of your idea of HELL but I am an absolute baked beans junkie. I used to eat them on pasta (and then wondered why I was 20 stone - honestly).

This is under 500 calories, taco floats, lettuce, tiny bit of cheese, cucumber, tomatos, chilli and lime prawns and some low sugar baked beans.

I had run out of bars and exante had 'lost my order in transit' so I've had two days with no bars and this is what I had last night as I was still aiming for 1,200 calories.

Bars are back today! Excited to weight on Saturday.

How are you all getting on?

Brademajo · 10/02/2021 19:40

Prawns and baked beans??? I cant talk - all I ate in Uni was mashed potato / baked beans / dairylea all mashed together!

Whats great @LordOfTheOnionRings is that you are preparing meals taking into account exactly what you are eating - the amount / the calories / carbs etc - that looks a heck of a lot nicer than baked beans / pasta combo!

I had my first lo-dough pizza. Used pizza sauce from Skinny, 1 x babybel light (sliced), mushrooms, onion and god-damn it was great!!!
Weighing in 1 and a half weeks and hoping or 8-10lb weight loss. Somedays I feel slimmer other days as if nothings changed Confused

Anyway - keep going everyone :)

Brademajo · 10/02/2021 19:47

How are you doing @par05? fingers crossed on track again..if not dont worry - only half way through the week - still time to get back on it :)

@GaryUnicorn when are you weighing - have reached landmark?

x

par05 · 10/02/2021 23:37

Hi have done ok last 2 days much better than have been doing so finger crossed! How's everyone else? Can't believe we already 10 days in to feb! Hoping to have some warmer weather so can start going for local walks again!

OP posts:
Brademajo · 11/02/2021 08:49

It is super cold isnt it!? Im doing my walks with tights on underneath my trackie bottoms, thermal top, fleece, padded coat, hat and gloves. By the end of my walk...Ive warmed up!
Honestly with the lockdown (ie not seeing anyone) and taking walks so wrapped up - I do feel like I as if Ive had plastic surgery and hiding away before the great reveal :) - this is my motivation TO KEEP GOING - NOW IS MY OPPORTUNITY - when would I ever have this opportunity again??! (Shouting at myself!!!)

Brademajo · 11/02/2021 15:45

Hi - ...lo dough base / skinny fake pizza sauce / onion / slice babybel light / half can of tuna

Note - babybel doesn't grate well lol! sliced is the way to go.

I reckon less than 250 calories - and absolutely delicious!

Hi all, sorry I've not been on in a little while I managed to break my laptop (fixed now!!) and i find mumsnet so fiddly to do on my phone i rarely bother..

I came off plan this week for a little bit. Was feeling a bit rubbish because of some fairly intense work i've had to do this week and i thought well i'm a month in and it was probably best to do a food week anyway to get my metabolism back up to speed. Not been eating crap I've been sticking to fairly good stuff (though family did order kfc the other day and I had a few bits of chicken oops..) and weighed this morning and i've put about 4lbs back on, which I'm fairly confident is just water weight as measurements and clothes are still the same. Going to see this weekend out and get back on plan on Monday. Hope everyone else is well :)

par05 · 12/02/2021 18:36

Nice to hear from you @Weston14 glad laptop fixed ! Ahh yep me too I seem to have 1 or 2 really good days then a bit off plan 🙈 but yep we crack on.

Hi everyone! Glad to see everybody is still on track! Lost a pound or so last week, so all in the right direction. I lost about 4/5 stone before with Exante, (was almost 25 stone) and maintained it bar 2/3 lb but since 4 Feb have lost 21 pounds! Very chuffed with that. It’s Sunday, so having my normal ‘cheat’ day. Which isn’t really cheating, but I tell myself it is. Tray of roasted veg, with a gammon steak!. Love the fact that my BMI has gone down so much. Now aiming to get it under 50!
