I know! Doesn't time fly when you're having fun? Wink

As ever, here's the spreadsheet

If you haven't seen any loss this week - or have seen a slight gain - but you know you haven't cheated, please don't despair. Remember, this is often the case in weeks 3 and 4. So don't panic, just KOKO.

Although I have very much enjoyed the consistent run of lovely weather we've been having, I am looking forward to the arrival of some cooler air and, in particular, some rain. Looks like we might be in for some thunderstorms too.

Anyway, wherever you are and whatever your weather is like, I hope you have a good week

Another 2 lb off for me this week which I'm delighted with. I'm starting to notice it with clothes now as well - my waist is slimmer for sure. My 'big' shorts, which were depressingly tight 4 weeks ago, are starting to feel looser Smile

Lougle · 15/08/2022 09:00

That's great @ChairOfInvisibleStudies ! It's lovely when you start to see the results.

I've checked out the menu and all but one option comes with chips, mash or bread. I'll probably go for the mozerella salad. Or I suppose I could ask for the chips to be swapped out for veg.

catwithflowers · 15/08/2022 09:06

Thanks for the new thread BIWI. Much cooler here today (Northumberland). Yesterday I was in a strappy top and shorts. Today I have a thin sweater on and jeans 😂

Feeling full of energy with this WOE. My husband has been low carbing too, doing it properly for the first time, combined with lots of cycling and running and has lost a stone in four weeks. I find it so much easier to cook and meal plan if both of us are eating the same way. Gorgeous sausages for dinner tonight from a local company called Geordie Banger with cheesy leeks (no flour) and the seemingly endless supply of runner and green beans 🙈

Breakfast fasting (apart from tasting yummy cheese sauce!)
Lunch, maybe eggs in some form or tuna salad

I've just returned from a week in Italy, had great intentions for low carbing while i was away but it didn't happen. By normal standards I certainly didn't overindulge, but by low carb standards I did. But I came home looking forward to getting back on it, so have been shopping and prepared for a reset!

Welcome @Ollieharriet

Good to have you back.

You have been added to the spreadsheet.

ImAvingOops · 15/08/2022 10:12

Good morning all. Am 2lb down, which is okay - steady progress.
Nice to wake up to grey skies - never thought I'd say that!

Ollieharriet · 15/08/2022 10:18

Thanks @FinallyHere.

bandbsmummy · 15/08/2022 10:48

Please could you add me to the spreadsheet?

Week 1 for me and 6lb down. Enjoying being properly hydrated for the first time in a long time.

Struggling to convince DH with this WOE. He is very much in the skimmed milk camp. Suggestions welcome Smile

Sunsnowsun · 15/08/2022 11:08

Week 1 completed and 4lbs off, I am really pleased as everything feels just a little looser, it was all getting very tight. I’m aiming for at least 12lbs off as otherwise I will have not winter clothes 😀.
NSV is that all indigestion has gone.

thanks again @BIWI for doing this

PennyPinkPineapple · 15/08/2022 11:11

Thanks for the new thread @BIWI

I'm not weighing myself until Wednesday morning as I started mid week last week.

sushinelove · 15/08/2022 11:18

2lb more off for me this week, almost half a stone and I'm really pleased with this. I figure if I can just keep on losing a pound or so every week then by Christmas I might fit my winter clothes 😂

ChimneyPot · 15/08/2022 11:23

Just catching up on the end of the week 3 thread. @Summersazz well done on the jeans. You look great in them.
I love all the bread photos.
@ditavonteese I hope you are starting to feel better.

I was away glamping in a fairly remote area at the weekend. It was fully catered so I brought my own bread and granola to swap out in the breakfast but I really should have brought more bread and my own yoghurts as all lunch options were bread based and the yoghurt at breakfast was definitely low fat.
Anyway I made the best choices I could, well I probably should have turned down the third glass of Prosecco, but apart from that.😀

I am down 1.25lbs this week so 11.5lbs in 4 weeks.

Give it a few weeks. Once he sees the difference, he'll realise it's working.

prettybird · 15/08/2022 11:31

@bandbsmummy - my dh used to humour my WoE (although not as far as getting skimmed milk in Wink) rather than actively support it but since he got the Tom Watson book (how he lost 8 stone and then maintained it), he's come round more and is giving it a go himself. Smile (Annoyingly, he can go off-piste with the odd beer or slice of sourdough and still lose weight Hmm).

Prior to that, I just cooked tasty low carb meals and gave him chips, boiled/roast potatoes, pasta or rice to accompany his meals so he didn't "lose out".

So your dh can have his skimmed milk - you just enjoy your full fat milk, full fat Greek yoghurt and cream and have the satisfaction of losing weight while eating lovely tasty food Grin

FinallyHere · 15/08/2022 11:53

Welcome @bandbsmummy

Added you to the spreadsheet

prettybird · 15/08/2022 12:04

Woohoo! Grin I've reached not one but two of my mini targets: I've got into three digit territory (ie less than 12st 10lb Wink two stone to go to get to genuine 3 digit territory Shock) and I've now lost half a stone this Boot Camp! Smile

Weighing in today at 12st 8.75lb Flowers to myself for keeping the faith while I was stalling and/or blipping up at 12st 10.25lb for the last week+ Smile

Next mini target is to get under 12.5st, so only 2lb to go Grin

bandbsmummy · 15/08/2022 12:36

Thanks @FinallyHere.

Yes, hopefully he'll see soon. I want to get the kids more on board too. They are only tiny but DH does the cooking 🙄

ChairOfInvisibleStudies · 15/08/2022 12:48

@prettybird I love your approach of mini goals - I do something similar, plus I flip-flop between pounds, kilos and BMI points to give me even more options for success 😁

WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa · 15/08/2022 14:33

Place marking. Loving seeing everyone's losses rolling in.

Steak and creamy cabbage for tea tonight! 🙌🏻

Frenchpoodle · 15/08/2022 16:13

No weigh in for me today, well done all the losses. Posting today’s food for accountability

B: Raspberries and Greek yoghurt - tiny square of dark chocolate
L: Chicken with cucumber and fennel salad
Afternoon snack - couple of spoons of soft goats cheese
D: Omelette with pan fried courgette and broccoli

Lougle · 15/08/2022 17:39

@prettybird whoop whoop for you!! I'm 1lb away from 9 stones, so almost at target. I used to be 8.5 stones when I was younger but it was too thin and I was always trying to put on a bit of weight.

ChimneyPot · 15/08/2022 18:00

@Lougle 1lb off target is brilliant well done.

9 stone would be my lowest target weight too and what I was in Winter 2019/20 prior to covid. It’s a fair way off for me at this stage but for today I am happy to be comfortably wearing my dog walking trousers from last summer that were way too tight 4 weeks ago.

comfortablyfrumpy · 15/08/2022 18:20

That's brilliant, @Lougle ! Bet you feel amazing 👏

pinknsparkly · 15/08/2022 18:32

I've apparently put on almost 2 kg in two weeks (i was away last week so didn't weigh in). It's mostly because my period is due so I expect a good decrease next week but it's still quite a large increase to see on the scales 😥

Is there a way of leaving a week without a weight that doesn't break the spreadsheet? I've put in a random weight for last week as otherwise the formulas seem to go completely haywire! But if someone could delete my weight for last week in a way that keeps it calculating my weight loss (or gain as it currently stands!) that would be amazing!

Lunch = green super salad from M&S with the prawn mayo filling of an M&S sandwich.
Dinner = cheesy pork with creamy vegetables

Lougle · 15/08/2022 18:37

@pinknsparkly you could split your weight difference over the two weeks? Then you'd have a weight in for both weeks.
