I love this week, seeing how much weight people lose, and especially as it's always such a surprise for newbies and those who feared that this WOE wouldn't work!

I hope you've all seen good results.

If you haven't - don't despair, but have a think about the week just gone. Look at what you were eating/drinking and consider how well you followed Bootcamp rules.

Any problems, as ever, post them on the thread.

DS made spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread the other day. I had to leave the house Grin

DH gave me some of his Zero electrolyte tabs so I had one in a pint of water this morning. I'm finding the water intake easy enough to do, but I'm struggling a bit to get enough green leafy veg into my diet. I meant to at dinner yesterday, but I just wasn't hungry enough for a proper dinner so I picked at some cheese & olives instead. I'm finding the lack of hunger pangs a real revelation actually.

I'm up & down the same 1lb the last couple of days, but I look slimmer and my belly is flatter.

Another baguette sniffer here. I also contemplated doing a line of instant mash but I got past it with crispy fried hallucinations.

I'm craving carbs today too. I wonder if this is our brains giving it one last go before our bodies finally cave to the fat burning process? No? Wishful thinking? Wink

I'm having carb cravings today. Not even things I particularly like, chocolate and sweets were always my go-to but I don't feel bothered about those. Would murder a glass of lemonade and some salt and vinegar crisps though.

Hi all, have been shamelessly lurking since the start of bootcamp and benefiting from everybody's great posts about how they are doing, pitfalls, recipes etc so THANK YOU!

For various reasons this is my first week of bootcamp rather than second but I weighed myself last week anyway and still managed a 1lb loss at weigh in this week which is alright! Especially because I feel amazing, my mood has lifted and I have so much more energy. So weight loss will be an added bonus really!

Plan to post more and get involved from this point. Thanks again all!

@Rufflebelly I found a nice Bacon and Egg salad in M&S, only 3g carbs, including a dressing, and it contains 3 halves of Boiled Egg, so quite filling. The bacon is only small crispy bits so not too much. But in my store it's down near the salad, fresh food section rather than being up with the sandwiches. Good for emergencies!

Feeling absolutely rubbish today. Not carb flu, my two little boys have the cold and the littlest is teething on top of it too. Think I slept about an hour 😴

I don't drink tea or coffee but can barely keep my eyes open so had a tin of Diet Coke and it tasted AWFUL- so sweet!

Im just being a grump but surprisingly I haven't craved chocolate or crisps as I used to when my lo wouldn't sleep during the night so that's a bonus!

Still managing to keep to it. Bought some size 14 chinos yesterday from M&S and for once, I think I don't look too bad in them so will keep them. Smile

Also bought a chino style skirt (same material and belt, straight cut) but hadn't realised it was midi length. I could always shorten it but for £29.50 (even with 20% off that) I don't think I can be bothered.

I'm also pleased that I've restarted the Shred (Monday and today - had Pilates yesterday). I find it difficult to do the DVD when ds is in the house for some reason but as he has finished his exams (and school! Shock), so will be in the house from now until September when he goes off to Uni (Shock), I need to get over that excuse Wink .....which I have now done! Grin

Well done traceyturnblatt carbs were my go to on days like that so you've done really well just to have the coke. Have you got something nice planned for tea tonight?

Very disorganised this morning, Wednesday is my early start early finish day, but luckily I had some egg muffins in the fridge. Had two in the car for breakfast and two for lunch. Crisis averted!

Hi all,

I'm feeling terrible today, even had a little cry in the car after work. I felt amazing until Tuesday but have been bloated & uncomfortable ever since. I never get constipated so think it must be the change of diet. I have had loads of water yesterday and today as I thought I might be dehydrated. I will keep going...just feeling extremely sorry for myself.

Grin at the fellow bread sniffers! I may have sniffed my warm loaf as it came out of the breadmaker Blush.

Still having a few digestive probs here, which is making me cross because it's resulted in a slight case of piles. I think I need to get some of those psyllium husk thingies. Tbh I've also had a rather sedentary week, which doesn't help in that department (had the blighters oncd before when pretty immobile after an op).

Some of you are exceedingly brave having carbs in the house or even risking making bread! I’m hoping that how I’m feeling is carb flu, rather then end of term lurgy. Just bloody exhausted and everything’s achy.

However the mention above to crispy fried hallucinations has now meant that hallumoi is now part of dinner 😂

GiantPandaAttacks nice to meet a fellow panda Grin We have tonnes of carbs in the house for DP as he is an absolute carb king. He eats pasta at least once a day, usually twice. Plus loves biscuits. I was feeding DD a rusk the other day and considered having a bite...

I have finally caught up with the thread! I'm loving the crispy fried hallucinations. Grin
All going well here & I'm now 1lb - 1lb!!! - from the target I set on 1st January. So close! It is keeping me very focussed because I want to hit it before the end of next week, if I can. Possibly a bit ambitious but I'm going to try.
