Wow! This is the first time I've had to start a second thread this early!

Please continue to post all your meals, ideas, questions, woes, successes etc here!

I'm currently on a train Oop North with very dodgy wifi so can't guarantee I will see or be able to answer all your questions, but I'll do my best.

Also, tomorrow I'm at a funeral Sad so won't be around very much

Well!.... it's keto friendly but not quite 'first two weeks of boot camp' friendly (I'm just finishing week 5 of my LCHF diet). Soooo, I roasted a chicken (in a bag from Ocado). Made keto scones with almond flour and keto jam with frozen raspberries (don't try this at home until week 3!!!). I then made egg and pepperoni muffins (with pumpkin purée and egg) and (tinned) salmon patties (bloody amazing balls of utter deliciousness). I then (reluctantly as the cooking enthusiasm was wearing thin by this stage) made some tzatziki and keto crackers (flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, Parmesan, seasoning and water. I even did all the dishes!!! Don't know why I'm we ridiculously excited for the wedding tomorrow as I'm not particularly into the royal family... But H & M look so genuinely in love - I'm so happy for them!!! ♥️

So I had a bad day for water - I have only managed 2 L so far - so there will be epic drinking from now on.

B = Coffee!!!
L = Some Tuna Mayo with 2 boiled eggs, some grated cheese and spinach leaves with chilli flakes. Looked like puke but tasted fab!
D = Burger with cheese melt, asparagus, roasted cauliflower and broccoli

Tomorrow will be a day of sin. Sunday - Bootcamp revival

Evening all.

I had a Mexican takeaway this evening: a pulled pork, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole salad - yum.

Not a great day though as I also had fast food - baked chicken satay burger from Leo .

I'm trying to cook more at home but today wasn't the day.

Onwards and upwards !

This is the recipe for the salmon patties... (week 3!). I make them smaller (using a 2tblsp measuring spoon) and oven cook (180 degrees C in a fab oven) for about 18 mins (less messy and smelly!)

Goodness gracious! I had a cheeky weigh this morning and since Monday I have dropped 6lb!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sticking to the rules but as I can't weigh not sure if I'm losing any. Will KOKO though.

I’m quite envious of people who are losing weight. I’ve had no changes to my weight. But then I remind myself that this is only the 5th day so it’s totally unsurprising that I haven’t had any changes yet. I need to remind myself to give it a few weeks before getting despondent if there’s no change.

Just got back from Warner Bros Studio Tour which was fab and DS loved it :)

Today's been ok but not eaten much so am cooking dinner now.

L - Salmon fillet and veg
S - A boiled egg, a burger patty with a small amount of cheese and bacon taken from DS's double burger - was a bit weird to eat but I was starving!
D - Just cooking 4 low carb sausages, runner beans and 100g of basil tofu (1.8g carb)

Just checking in before bed. I had bacon and fried eggs for breakfast this morning and then we had a BBQ late afternoon so that kind of doubled up for lunch and dinner. I did all the prep and cooking so I knew what was bootcamp friendly and what wasn't. Really enjoyed it I had a selection of pork belly, low carb sausage, steak in a marinade of oil, mustard and garlic, home made coleslaw and an avocado and tomato salad.

Made so much we are BBQing again tomorrow. Left everyone else drinking - I stuck to still water and then on to sparking with fresh mint and slice of lemon.

Enjoying the food side, just hope the scales reflect my optimism.

Oh also had halloumi and veggie kebab skewers. Tiny bit worried I am eating too much cheese, and that my coleslaw has grated carrot but apart from that I think I am bang on plan!

Sorry to hear about the funeral BIWI. That’s hard.
So it sounds like everyone is doing well. I am looking forward to bootcamp easing but that could be because I was not at work today and less distracted. I still feel full so will keep on and will continue to drink my water - that’s harder than I thought. Although I got some electrolytes in. That will help me now and I’ll probably pick up a little (low blood pressure here).

Gorgeous made-up lunch of mushrooms, bacon, shallot, kale in butter with a slosh of cream and grated cheese. Refused one of my Mum's hm scones this afternoon!

The race was great, I felt good and did 25:56 so only a couple of minutes off my 5k PB, happy with the comeback progression. I had two slices of pizza and no wine at my friends pizza and wine thing afterwards but would normally have been maybe 5 pizza and 2-3 wines so not feeling too bad as it was a lovely sociable evening with the baby at home with doting grandparents.

Just quickly checking in. I am worried I’m eating too much cheese too. I had a bad food day today. Breakfast was bacon and scrambled egg. Lunch was eaten standing at the fridge and was a slab of blue cheese and some olives and then dinner was the same, eaten standing at the fridge and was blue cheese, cheddar cheese and olives. I just couldn’t be bothered to cook and the kids were playing me up but I’m aware two cheese based meals eaten standing while low carb isn’t healthy!

@notmypropername Yes, I have! No matter how many times i clean my teeth, my mouth tastes grim. I think it's a good sign though that you are in ketosis? Keep drinking lots of water to help.

Wow I can't believe I managed to avoid the wine last night. Normally I reach for the bottle as soon as I'm home from work on a Friday night, but last night when I came home, I grabbed the dogs lead and headed straight back out. Smile That broke my routine then it was fairly smooth sailing from there.

Last night was baked italian meatballs with a side of fried broccoli. I felt full and actually kinda bloated after it but DP pulled a face and had a pudding of cold custard straight from the tin Grin He was the one who introduced me to HFLC even though he doesn't follow it properly but I think he's taking bad to me following this WOE. Kinda like when a kid at school turns up with the same toy as you so it's not special anymore Grin
