Wow! This is the first time I've had to start a second thread this early!

Please continue to post all your meals, ideas, questions, woes, successes etc here!

I'm currently on a train Oop North with very dodgy wifi so can't guarantee I will see or be able to answer all your questions, but I'll do my best.

Also, tomorrow I'm at a funeral Sad so won't be around very much

TimeIhadaNameChange · 18/05/2018 15:16

Hope the funeral was ok, BIWI.

Hats off to everyone LCing with small kids. I've been looking after a pair of toddlers for the last few afternoons. It was very hard to not give in to temptation, especially when they were shoving food in my mouth!

Will hopefully go for a run this weekend, for the first time in a week and a half. My hip's feeling much much better so hopefully it will be ok. There are 19 weeks til the half marathon. Eeeek!

Mueslibox · 18/05/2018 15:45

Wearing a pair of jeans that have never fit me since I bought them online Grin very happy x

StuntNun · 18/05/2018 15:59

Brassica this is the barbecue sauce recipe I use. I get a stomach ache from sweeteners so it works better with the honey in for me. You just mix up all the ingredients and it keeps well in a sealed container in the fridge.
Barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon Frank's hot sauce (or lots more of you like it spicy)
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon mustard
2 tablespoons water
1⁄4 teaspoon ground allspice
1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon chili powder
1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

BrassicaBabe · 18/05/2018 16:03

Ooh I like that even better Stunt. Thank you!

Kleptronic · 18/05/2018 16:33

I'm in my smallest jeans today. They're a leetle bit too tight but that's better than the bigger ones. In the bigger ones I'm all 'I'm so slim I have to keep hoiking my jeans up!' In these I'm like, 'Kleptronic, DO NOT DRINK WINE TONIGHT you muffin-topped bootcamp backslider you!'.

Sigh.

I am enjoying all the conversations here. I had bacon today I think that was a once in a while thing. My family were Hmm shocked I think. Anyway this WOE is going well as I feel very full also. I do need to up my water intake as I thought I needed 2 litres but I need 3 litres a day. I don’t now how to fit it all in and my job means it’s hard to run off and pee all the time (yes I have life-stage constant peeing problems here). Anyway apart from that all good. My stomach is way flatter which I love (no bloating already!) and I am down another pound. Awesome!!

notmypropername · 18/05/2018 17:06

Day 2 for me (I did the LCBC a few years ago and worked amazing) I've slowly gained 1 and a half stone over a year and it needs to go. I refuse to go up a dress size.

Feeling hot today is that normal?

Very hungry but just snacking on lots of fatty treats, there not quite hitting the spot but I will do this 👊🏼

maxthemartian · 18/05/2018 17:13

It's Day 2 for me as well. Still feel extremely bloated but I felt like that before I started this so hoping it goes soon.
Peeing almost constantly with all the water.

daffodillament · 18/05/2018 17:21

Can I join ? Sounds good !

Kleptronic · 18/05/2018 18:04

Of course daffodiloment.

Kleptronic · 18/05/2018 18:05

daffodilament sorry.

BIWI · 18/05/2018 18:17

So all went well today. Sad, obviously, but it was good to catch up with people. Sadly the last time I saw them was at my dad's funeral, almost two years ago, but I guess that's a sign of the times/my age!

It was also good so send some time with my DB and DSIL, and I also got to see my great nephew, so all in all a good couple of days.

The less said about the food the better however, so I shall draw a large veil over that and return to Bootcamp proper from here.

Ooh, can I join without all the reports about my daily food? Or is it compulsory?
I’d rather just read other people’s comments and occasionally moan about hating spinach. Grin

TheGherkin · 18/05/2018 18:23

Evening all.

I am not drinking enough. It’s quite hard as i dont have access to a loo most of the time at work (out and about, in and out of other peoples houses) so i’m used to just not drinking.

And I’m out tonight with some friends and there’s a meal laid on. The options were veg lasagne, sausage and mash or chilli. I’ve ordered the chilli as i don’t much like it and i dont like rice so won’t be tempted to eat it Grin

Also. Talk to me about ‘too much dairy’. I’m not a big meat eater, i can do chicken, bacon, ham, burgers and other crap processed meat, but i’m Not keen on real meat things. So I reach for the cheese. And slosh the double cream in my coffee. Is this too much?

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. I have a selection of olives, cheese and salami in for The Wedding Grin

1MrsRabbit · 18/05/2018 18:28

Glad to hear all went well BIWI.

I haven’t been hungry at all until about 30min ago. I had some total 5% at 8am and have been on my feet all day, just didn’t realise how time was running away with me, so made a quick omelette with mushrooms and cheese. I’ve drunk 2L so far, and actually feel thirsty which is so unusual for me. Haven’t weight yet, this is only day 3 for me

AthelstaneTheUnready · 18/05/2018 18:58

Glad it was manageable, BIWI.

Hunger has finally subsided today which is a relief. Much less weepy, but still a bit dazed.

Gherkin, some people have no problem with 'too much' dairy, and others (like me) find even a tiny bit of cheese stalls the weight loss. Completely. Having said that, I bought some goat's cheese on Monday and that doesn't seem to have the same effect - I've been having about two thumbs' worth a day (no scales, sorry).

JuneBalloon · 18/05/2018 19:02

Spent FIVE hours tootling around the kitchen this afternoon making freaking keto friendly food for this sodding picnic! Hadn't realised it would take so long... DH not happy that there's nothing for dinner and I won't let him eat the food for tomorrow!

AthelstaneTheUnready · 18/05/2018 19:20

What have you made, June!? I don't think I've ever spent 5 hours in a kitchen...

UnimaginativeUsername · 18/05/2018 19:22

Today’s food started crap and has improved.

B: a pepperami and pork scratchings (the best I could do in the garage shop)
L: salad with mozzarella and dressing
D: pork belly with two types of salad (a limey-coriander coleslaw and a salad with avocado and creamy dressing).
And water. I’m really thirsty, so I actually want to drink loads.

Also, I find that I need to drink at least a bottle of water to make it through a packet of pork scratchings. They totally dry my throat up.

Mueslibox · 18/05/2018 19:24

Yes tell us what picnic food!

Mueslibox · 18/05/2018 19:27

Sorry haven’t been posting my food:

B: nothing as school run got in way
L: some fried tofu slices, (is tofu okay?!?), crispy bacon slices, chargrilled artichoke,
D: celery and blue cheese dip (danish blue mashed with sour cream), some broccoli, end of the tofu I couldn’t finish at lunch.

AthelstaneTheUnready · 18/05/2018 19:32

I don't usually post my food, 'cos my meals are really dull.

But today a friend gave me a dozen just laid eggs so I can confidently tell you that the next six days will include 2 boiled eggs for breakfast. Grin

BIWI · 18/05/2018 19:34
