Morning campers Flowers

Here's the SoF

From last week's thread it sounds like most people are managing to stick on track for most of the time, which is great.

We have four full weeks left, so still time to make a big difference.

Hope this week goes well.

StuntNun couldn't you just laminate a list of NO ingredients and stick it in his wallet?

Almahart · 20/11/2017 19:47

1ib on but I expected worse after my pizza on Sunday

Very difficult meeting today but was good food wise

Sausage and egg
Left over spicy chicken and cauliflower rice
Celeriac rosti (2 portions prob not good idea)

Had a Diet Coke after awful meeting but I can live with that.

Lizard202 · 20/11/2017 19:52

1.8lb down this week, which is unexpected considering TOTM. Still need to drink more water as struggle to get past 2litres but otherwise ok. Odd dinner today as late home after attempting my first yoga class 😊but definitely filled a hole.

B fasting
L homemade mushroom soup plus chicken breast
Snack 2 x babybel
Dinner smoked salmon with eggs fried in butter (plus leftover chicken)
Dessert 80g raspberries with double cream

Definitely eat more on TOTM but hopefully managing to limit to the right things at least.

StuntNun · 20/11/2017 20:04

ClearEyes we've been Bootcamping since June 2013 so I don't think he'll ever get the hang of it - he's just a bit crap.

YoLoNovVitMe · 20/11/2017 20:19

stunt i thought the suggestion from cleareyes was great, until your post in reply! Perhaps as you have been in maintenance mode on and off he isn't properly sure what you can and cannot eat at any given time? IME and I know it's a cliche and probably sexist but most men need clear rules to follow. They like certainty. and rewards when they get it right

Maybe try printing that cheat sheet that was posted a while ago and give it to him to keep in the car staple to his forehead . Grin

I know it's not the end of the world if you eat some breadcrumbs and sticky sauce, but it's important if it makes you feel like shit (physically and emotionally). Esp if you have had depression recently. We all need a positive boost sometimes and feeling you have let yourself down is not the way to achieve that. Would he understand this if you explained it like that? Can he help to boost you?

I'm sure he has lots of lovely qualities apart from buying delicious takeaways !

TheMonkeysOnTheTable · 20/11/2017 20:46

AveAtqueVale - thanks - and well done to you too. I’d love to lose another 4 lbs by the final weigh in. Again I’m not sure how feasible that is. I’ve been slacking on the water front so need to work on that this week.
Good luck!

Scabbersley · 20/11/2017 21:02

B: two boiled eggs with delouis mayonnaise
L: tin of soup which I discovered with horror was about 22 carbs
D: ham roll ups with avacado and philidelphia, Greek yogurt

I have a very unusual sweet craving! Haven't had one of those for weeks

pimmsy · 20/11/2017 21:32

YoLoNovVitMe
I will be trying to recreate ... and will be sure to take a photo!

YoLoNovVitMe · 20/11/2017 22:00

Yay pimmsy I'm on tenterhooks!

Mimosa1 · 20/11/2017 22:03

1.8kg off! Really pleased as it's on the heels of nearly 3 weeks of sts. In another 0.2kg, which I saw earlier in the week but didn't stick, shall have lost 10kg since September ! Our team photos were today and I felt so much happier in my clothes and how I looked.

Biwi I loved your opening post about how we've still got 4 weeks and that's plenty of time to make a difference. Huge thanks for running this BC and enjoy your sabbatical - hope you do lots of lovely things on it.

Scabbers and Ilove I hope you both feel better soon. Ilove - I'm wowed that you still made it to the gym, well done huh!

To the PP (sorry I can't scroll back for some reason) who was walking about protein rolls, and what to eat with baked Camembert, CarbZone do a nice low carb bread that's for sale on Ocado, which could work? Or gem lettuce leaves?

YoLoElfSocks · 20/11/2017 22:03

I have a new Christmas NN. It's still me. Grin

ponygirlcurtis · 20/11/2017 22:05

So I made celeriac remoulade - amazing! But man it took ages to prepare with cutting up the celeriac into little matchstick pieces. Any tips to do it in less time?

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 20/11/2017 22:20

Just popping in to say hi before bed.

B-fasting
L- cheese and salad, raspberries and yoghurt
S- too much almond butter!
D- courgetti spag bol

I got the spiraliaser out today and remembered how easy it is. Now I’m refilled with a passion to spiralise everything. What do you all think to spiralised celeriac? Worth a shot? Grin

My mission this week is to hit the water target.

Veryflummoxed · 20/11/2017 22:39

Leftover cottage pie for lunch, then again for dinner when the day didn’t go according to plan so no time for dh to cook the planned dinner
I also snacked on a bag of roasted almonds. Way more than I should have eaten. Drank all my water.

ilovecherries · 20/11/2017 22:40

Almond berry milkshake was surprisingly nice. Threw a dash of double cream in the blender as well for more fat and calories, and that gave it a bit of a luxury feel.

blackteaplease · 21/11/2017 04:56

141.25 on the scales this week, a loss of 1.5lbs again which I am happy with. If I can keep this up I will lose a stone by the end of bootcamp which will be great.

I still havn''t got the hang of lunch planning, yesterdays lunch was leftover mashed celeriac with olives. Weird but quite tasty.

Rshard · 21/11/2017 06:59

Some brilliant sv’s again and of course consistent koko!!!

Not exactly nsv’s but I did two things yesterday that I hold the have done without the confidence this woe and boot camp have given me. I went to bravissimo and was fitted for new bras, boy that was a revelation! And I’ve ordered a leather skirt, have wanted one for ages but never had the courage before.

ilovecherries · 21/11/2017 07:13

I saw 12.3 this morning :). It will take me a while yet to get there properly, but now it's started it's flirtation with me, it means the 11s are starting to feel very possible. Plus that's (only!) 13 lbs from a normal bmi, which is almost unbelievable to me.

cafeaulaitpourvous · 21/11/2017 07:28

Yeee haaaaa

Popped on the scales this morning and I have lost another pound bringing my grand total so far to

ONE STONE!!!!!!!!

Yes yes yes yes.....!!!!!!!!!!!!

Veryflummoxed · 21/11/2017 08:08

@ilovecherries you’ve done so well. Congratulations. Doesn’t seem a moment a go you were excited about hitting the twelves. Thirteen pounds to go to normal bmi is definitely nearly there.

ilovecherries · 21/11/2017 08:34

Very, thank you. I remember was ecstatic when I saw 14 something appear, I think that was the moment I started to believe it might work, because that was the lightest I had been for years. Then getting into the 199s was such a high. Now I'm only a whisker away from seeing the 160s, I'm really hoping for them before the year end. 6 months, totally life changing. My birthday is only a couple of months away, and it's normally a very unhappy day for various reasons. I've been telling the kids for years that I'm going to be like the Queen and have a second date - now seriously considering making 22 May my re-birthday Grin

ClearEyesFullHearts · 21/11/2017 08:38

ponygirl it's worth looking into buying a multi-function cutter for Celeriac and other vegetables. You can get inexpensive chip cutters from Argos or Tesco--have a look on the web for something with lots of settings.

I'm talking about little more than a tenner. Good investment for any cook.

YoLoElfSocks · 21/11/2017 09:07

Well done ilove rshard and everyone else reporting successes from their commitment to this WOE. It didn't happen by accident! You did this!

I love the idea of a re-birthday on 22 May. Might join you in that ilove.

Today I felt slim in a dress I usually have lumps and bumps in. Which is not true because at a size 16/18 I am not slim at all. But for me, after years of being fat, this is the slimmest I've been for a long while. It's a good feeling and I'm on the road to a healthy bmi eventually. No hurry. I believe I will get there at some point next year. It would be nice to wear summer clothes that are pretty instead of buying ugly stuff just because it fits.

Rshard · 21/11/2017 10:06

Popping back to report a half pound loss, which takes me into the 10's just! I've not posted my food over the weekend, just been out for long days so not reporting to hide any carby twatness! My target for this week is to log my food each day.

B - bacon and half avo
L - letttuce, radish, rocket, cucumber, tuna, half avo and mayo
D - hm chicken and mushroom pie (filling only), broccoli, cauliflower

Wh0KnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 21/11/2017 10:26

I think I'd better report in as having had a carbytwat fail last night - bread.

I had dinner fairly early then went out to a long, tedious meeting. When I came back someone had left the butter dish on the side and I realised how much I had missed cool creamy butter on a slice of bread and ate a some. It was sooo nice.

So , yesterday:
B: mushroom/spinach/cheese omelette
L: leftover chilli, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, salad
D: sausages, cauli cheese,
snack: bread and butter
water:3L - so much easier on weekdays
