Morning everyone Smile as BIWI is away I have the honour of starting the week 4 thread.

I going to give you all the usual reminder that in week 4 it is PERFECTLY NORMAL for weight loss to stall. So you may sts or even see a gain.

Do not panic! Just KOKO Smile

I've come in from the field with an absolutely banging headache Sad this seems to be a weekly occurrence. A quick coffee and two fizzy paracetamol and I'll try again.

Scabbersley · 02/11/2017 11:56

I'm also deaf in one ear and the headache is on the same side Sad have drs appointment booked for next week

Veryflummoxed · 02/11/2017 12:03

Thank you @Scabbersley , I will look again. (Will need to be careful though as bread is my downfall).

CarbyDeadUn · 02/11/2017 12:14

YoLo. No reason. I’m just a bit of a dick.

I just got a date for my boob op. Next bloody Friday. AAAAAATRRRRRRGGGGH.

ilovecherries · 02/11/2017 12:35

Rags, I'm 5 lbs away from 50 as well. Haven't decided what to do to mark it in somr way, because I do think it deserves it.

Veryflummoxed · 02/11/2017 12:46

yolo as a wagon jumper I can say
I was tired
Very busy and didn’t plan ahead properly
A very emotional time
Being surrounded by people (for days) eating carbs and not joining in with them(no problem) then right at the end a sort of “if I don’t do it now I’ll have missed my chance” sort of moment.* Hard to explain but I did the same last Christmas after low carbing with no problem during the main two or three days.*
Trying to remain positive about not loosing then having a f it moment and losing confidence in the while low carb thing

I felt absolute shit after, both physically and in terms of being cross with myself.* It was definitely not worth it. (That doesn’t mean I’d feel the same if it had been a planned for a special event). It’s the Lack of self control which pisses me off and knowing that I’ve just reset everything.*

My LC pumpkin soup is delicious as were the olives on the side.* I’m back on it.*

ragz ilove, if I count the weight I lost with WW, I’m 7lbs from 50lb total loss, It’s a huge number.

juneavrile · 02/11/2017 13:56

Went to the gym this morning and did not want to do 40 minutes at all. But Lowvember challenge made me do it. It is definitely a challenge.

I managed to resist a glass of wine last night. It was close, but I'm out tonight and Saturday and decided to save the treats.

Almahart · 02/11/2017 14:01

Am KOKO being super strict as my lapse at the weekend was so not worth it. Three days on have lost the two pounds I put on. Have an easy weekend coming up with no socialising but it gets harder after that!

NSV have new uniqlo trousers which are v flattering!

FurryTurnip · 02/11/2017 14:36

Just checking in with my food for today. Has changed from my original plan as I had to dig my Lidl protein rolls out of the freezer after reading all the posts - was bloody lovely though! Am just hoping it doesn't trigger some bread urge.

B: :3 scrambled eggs with cheese
L: 2 boiled eggs (very eggy day!) with half a protein roll solders
D: cauli rice with mixed veg and halloumi
S: square of G&B dark chocolate with sea salt. Gorgeous.

NSV today... Was in a shop changing room for first time in ages. Normally a hateful experience, the lighting shows up every lump and bump. It may have been more flattering lighting than usual but my legs looked much more smooth and toned, no cellulite wobbles!

Which reminds me I said I would do 3 HIIT sessions per week for Lowvember. Not done any yet so better crack on...

Gammeldragz · 02/11/2017 14:49

ilovecherries rshard race to 50 then?
May take me until mid December as I'm losing slowly now.
carbydeadun eeek!! Good luck.

Gammeldragz · 02/11/2017 14:51

furry protein rolls don't make me crave bread, but bread isn't something I miss usually. They are quite different to a thick white slice though ;)

Rshard · 02/11/2017 15:03

I’m up for that ragz

starsky22 · 02/11/2017 15:04

Good luck with the op carby

NSV clearing out some clothes today and have got rid of nearly all the size 14 (have kept a couple of favourite items, to see if I can make them smaller) and even some size 12 trousers that were falling off me! I've never been a size 10 on my lower half, so can't believe I'll fit into size 10 trousers now, but I guess I'll have to go shopping and find out!

Scabbersley · 02/11/2017 15:09

B: protein roll butter marmite
L: stir fry pork belly, spinach, broccoli, chili, garlic. Small piece cheese
D: not sure. Sausages I think.

ilovecherries · 02/11/2017 15:15

Ragz and Rshard - I'm in. I've slowed right down as well now but it IS still coming off. Rshard, I'm counting the 7 lbs I lost from 1 Jan- 22 May on HCLF calorie counting misery. It was hard won, so I reckon I deserve to count it. The other 38lbs are from 22 May i.e. 5 months to lose 7 pounds on the misery diet, then another 5 months to lose 38 on bootcamp.

Thiswillbemyusername · 02/11/2017 15:21

I did my exercise! And it made me feel, good as I expected. I'll commit to it again tomorrow and Saturday, but I won't be able to on Sunday as I'll be staying at a relative's on Saturday night to go to a fireworks display. No hotdogs and mushy peas for me this year -but maybe a glass of dry white wine-

Rshard · 02/11/2017 15:50

Excellent ilove! Def count those 7lbs! 50lbs will be 25% of my starting weight lost as well, a whole quarter of what I weighed gone forever hopefully.

ilovecherries · 02/11/2017 16:38

I need to get to 56 to have lost 25% of my body weight. Hadn't bought about that, but it will be a good mini-goal after the 50lb mark.

wombattoo · 02/11/2017 17:25

50lb loss is so amazing. I hope you 3 do something really special for yourselves to mark the occasion.

Very and Carb koko. You know you can do it Thanks

Mini I hope mil is doing ok Thanks

prettybird · 02/11/2017 17:30

50lb loss is amazing - you'll all be winners! FlowersStar

My NSV for today is wearing my "Old Faithfull" dress today (the charcoal grey heavy merino wool one I mentioned yesterday) as I needed to be smart(ish)

prettybird · 02/11/2017 17:37

....sorry, posted by accident. Blush

NSV is that I didn't feel as if I was lumpish and bumpish (lines from bra, tights and slip) today Smile

I needed to be smart(ish) as I was a member of an interview panel for a depute head post at ds' school (I'm on the Parent Council and we supply 2 of the 5 panel members if we want to participate). It was a long day: 8 candidates! Shock Turned down Belgian chocolate biscuits during our tea break in the middle, but had some of the (school) soup at the end which probably had barley and potatoes in it. I then had a small cheese and tomato sandwich minus the bread, a cherry tomato and a slice of cucumber Wink

Grimbles · 02/11/2017 18:17

Evening all, throat feels a bit better but my mouth is so dry despite all the water Confused

B. Bacon and mushrooms
L. Nothing
S. Pork Scratchings
D. Planned - chicken with celeriac + pancetta rosti and spinach wilted in butter.

Are there any herbs or spices I can use with the spinach to perk it up a bit?

prettybird · 02/11/2017 18:25

Do you like garlic Grimbles ? Some chopped garlic in the spinach is nice. Or a pinch of chili flakes. Smile

Grimbles · 02/11/2017 18:48

Ooh, I've got chilli flakes, good plan!
