Weirdly not suffering at all. And I really did stuff my face. Guts are a bit delicate but that have been for a few days.

Back on it. Need to find a supermarket to buy lunch and dinner as out all day and got nothing in for lunchbox except HB eggs.

DrDiva · 02/11/2017 08:51

Sayrra that dream almost makes sense Shock Grin

I fell off the wagon yesterday with a packet of crisps. I made the fatal mistake of going into Lidl for my protein roll when I was starving hungry and succombed to a pack of my favourite crisps, which tasted amazing, but I really shouldn't have done it. It's weird how some things I am losing the taste for after a few weeks but some things taste better than they ever have after a few weeks off. No after effects though, so I am going to start back up today, have had omelette and almond milk tea for breakfast and prepared chicken salad with may for lunch.

Whoever recommended Delouis mayonnaise - wow, it's lovely! Expensive though. I think I am going to keep a jar of Hellmans in for using with strongly flavoured food like hardboiled egg or tuna and keep the Delouis for things where I would usually mix in a bit of mustard, like chicken.

Hippadippadation · 02/11/2017 09:29

DH eats the LIDL protein rolls, he really likes them but says they're very filling.

starsky22 · 02/11/2017 09:46

The Lidl protein rolls are filling, I only have half at a time. I don't go to Lidl very often, so I buy a batch, cut them in half and freeze them. I think they (as well as other low carb bread) should be an occasional thing, rather than an every day item, as a whole roll is about 10g of carbs and we are supposed to be getting most of our carbs from veg.

starsky22 · 02/11/2017 09:48

Ave That is very normal for week 4, just keep going with it and the weight loss will happen

SayrraT · 02/11/2017 09:50

scabbersly protein rolls are ok, I would say don't go mad and have one every day but they are delicious toasted with tonnes of butter Grin

P.S what kind of horse do you have?

I always have vivid dreams but in case anyone else has started having vivid dreams it does seem to be a side effect of lcing.

Once someone has had a nightmare about eating cake I know BC is truly underway Grin

@SayrraT your BIWI dream made me laugh.
@CarbyDeadUn back on it today. Why isn’t celebration food ever based around salad?
Could some kind soul post a picture of a protein roll. I can never find them in my Lidl

Scabbersley · 02/11/2017 10:11

sayyra just had one, toasted. Butter and marmite. God it was good. Going to freeze the others. Will have to be very strict about eating them. I have three horses (well, 1 pony and 2 horses). One little cob x, one 15.1 overheight nf and one enormous ISH which belongs to my dd.

Scabbersley · 02/11/2017 10:12

Week 4 - just got to KOKO
Rshard · 02/11/2017 10:19

I have the Delouis mayo whoknows, after reading about it on here. I think it tastes a bit mustardy? It is lovely, like you I have Hellmann too and save the other!

It’s in my basket mimosa, does it freeze well? Planning to freeze and use at the weekend

singadream · 02/11/2017 10:46

Nsv. Went out with friends last night for Japanese food. They all had rice. I didn’t. They all had wine. I didn’t. Had gone down a lb when weighed myself last night which I know goes up and down but made it worth it. I know from glucose testing in pregnant when I had gestational diabetes that my body can not handle white rice.

Gammeldragz · 02/11/2017 10:46

Well done on the new low cherries always nice to see. I do the same as you, weigh daily and love the new low but accept that it tends to bounce up and around before I see it again.
scanners I have my protein rolls toasted with butter and marmite and a slice of cheddar. Yum. Not daily, maybe 2 a week. They have recently shrunk so slightly less carbs.

Gammeldragz · 02/11/2017 10:48

sing excellent restraint and well done on the loss.
scabbers apology for mistyping your name!
hippa any updates on c4?

SayrraT · 02/11/2017 10:50

I've got a little Welsh pony and a ISH as well scabbersly. Fortunately I don't need to poo pick though Grin

Just realised if I lose 5 more pounds I'll have lost 50lb this year. I think that will deserve some kind of special reward...

Full disclosure - the oppo ice cream was finished in front of the TV with DH last night, so too many carbs yesterday really. About 20g in the ice cream! Could have been worse though...

Thiswillbemyusername · 02/11/2017 10:57

Morning all! I am happy to say I didn't gain any weight from eating half a pitta pizza (I didn't really think I would)

I'm trying to motivate myself to do some exercise, as that was my low-vember goal. I know I will feel good but I seem to be procrastinating...

starsky22 · 02/11/2017 11:01

I still haven't found Oppo ice-cream, I think it is a good thing though, I know i'd end up eating too much!

Scales are down another pound this morning, drank a lot of water yesterday which I think helped. I am getting tantilisingly close to my final target! Shock Although may end up revising my final target as still have fat stores, particularly around my stomach, that I would like to reduce.

Have a good day everyone and koko!

Rshard · 02/11/2017 11:17

Excellent NSV sing
ragz -50lb wow!
I forgot about an NSV yesterday. Went to see my friend and her new baby. It’s a Muslim household so knew food would be on offer so ate before I went! My word it was practically a buffet, I just explained my low carb regime and they were lovely, not offended at all which was my worry!

TimbuktuTimbuktu · 02/11/2017 11:23

Coup do a sugar free chocolate ice cream which works out about 8g carbs per 100g.

It’s also £8 per pot which is the main thing that limits my eating it!

After my post last night I did get a little over excited with the free prosecco on the plane (joys of premium economy!) so added that with a cheese board to my day. Probably didn’t need it but I did enjoy it and low carb so fuck it!

I’m now in New York and so tired! The last thing I have to negotiate is a cocktail reception tonight and then the plane home tomorrow. Wish me luck!

YoLoNovVitMe · 02/11/2017 11:29

To all those "wagon jumpers"... you know who you are Why did you do that? What made you decide to? Was there an emotional trigger? How do you feel now?

You need to ask yourself these questions.

And for the complacency about not having put on weight...wait a week! It takes several days for fat to be gained, quicker for water retention. But the damage to your metabolism could take a few weeks to right itself again. So the gains may show on the scales later and you will have forgotten about it by then. I recall reading before, people saying 'I've been good all week but still gained and this WOE is not working', whilst conveniently forgetting the sugar binge they had two weeks ago that reset their pancreas to producing mucho insulin again.

StuntNun · 02/11/2017 11:30

I'm continuing my Low-vember goal of wearing naice clothes by actually wearing a dress! I almost never wear dresses so it feels a bit cold around the legs even though I have tights on. DH was very impressed though and DS4 said, Mummy you're a princess.

AveAtqueVale · 02/11/2017 11:36

I know it’s normal for week 4 but I’m miserable . The flat is a tip, DH is in bed because he was up and about for a whole hour this morning and now hasn’t got the energy for anything else, DS1’s at nursery so I was going to try to sort the flat out today but the baby is teething so is basically constantly crying unless I’m walking round with him or feeding him which is painful for all involved. And every time I walk up and down the hall with him I narrowly avoid death at the wheels of yet another strewn hotwheels car. I just want to go to the garden centre cafe and sit with a hot chocolate and a great big slice of their lovely gluten free cake and drown my sorrows with sugar. It would be easier to want to keep going if I was actually losing any weight. Sad

(But I haven’t actually dug in to DS1’s trick or treat haul yet so I’m not a total lost cause I suppose.)

YoLoNovVitMe · 02/11/2017 11:39

Keep going ave. Sugar won't fix those issues!

i suggest a red hot poker up DHs arse

YoLoNovVitMe · 02/11/2017 11:48

sayrra Your dream!! Grin I'm sure someone can analyse that for you Wink

stunt i get the whole dress thing. I have just stopped wearing clothes that are horrible but that are the only ones that fit me. It is a real self esteem boost to feel you look good and make a little effort to do so, because we are worth it!
