pretty there must be a big difference in your legs as those trousers are now hanging off you!

ClearEyesFullHearts · 01/11/2017 13:34

Im creeping back in after my flounce and apologising for being an oversensitive twat. Grin Flowers

Lowvember goal: 10 lbs!

NSV: surveyor who came round today told me I look like Kate Winslet. Hmm I so don't

Tottyandmarchpane1 · 01/11/2017 13:41

My November goal is to get to 14 st 6 which will take me from the obese into the overweight category of BMI. That’s 6llbs to go which is hopefully doable. I am 40 towards the end of the month and it would be lovely to be celebrating out of the obese category!!

ClearEyesFullHearts · 01/11/2017 13:42

NSV 2.0 - just tried on a dress ordered in 16-18 as one to fit into after Xmas. It fits now. (Its stretchy, but still.)

Good cut, though, so will exchange for a 14. I daren't exchange for the size 12.

Scabbersley · 01/11/2017 13:43

My November goal is to stick to this WOE.

Getting to 11.10 would be great.

YoLoNovVitMe · 01/11/2017 13:45

Holger just sending you some Flowers it sounds like you are having a tough time. Keep sharing here if it helps.

sayrra good luck!

mimosa keep the boots! They WILL fit you very soon and you'll regret having returned them.

prettybird looking good, lady!

My NSV: I did not eat ANY Halloween
Sweets or treats. Not one passed my lips. I could have gorged or picked and instead I controlled myself because once i started i wouldnt be able to stop
Quite proud of that.

SoMuchToBits · 01/11/2017 14:02

Afternoon all! Scabbersley, nice to see you back! Prettybird, I can really see the difference, especially in your face/neck/upper arms and your thighs.

My November goals are fairly simple.

  1. Lose at least another 4lb. That should be achievable.
  2. Don't drink any alcohol (except maybe on my birthday when I might allow myself one or two glasses of wine). I feel so much better when I don't drink, and now no longer crave wine in the evenings.
  3. Carry on with my current exercise regime (3 x 10 minute HIIT workout per week plus as much walking as I can manage).

That should do!

Scabbersley · 01/11/2017 14:22

prettybird you look tons better. Younger and those trousers are much too big for you now!

SayrraT · 01/11/2017 14:26

wombat I hope you are alright. I've added some more rows to the spreadsheet.

I've also deleted 67 people who signed up but never started (or didn't record a start weight).

HarlotsWeb · 01/11/2017 14:30

Tough love, sayrra! But it will make the spreadsheet much easier to scroll through :)

prettybird · 01/11/2017 14:33

They were borderline too big for me when I got them - but as they were/are palazzo style, I needed the Size 18. The one and only time I have ever bought a Size 18 ShockBlush

I had a really depressing trip around Silverburn (the local big shopping centre) and Sainsbury's looking for something, anything Sad, that didn't make me feel like a sack of potatoes for the wedding we were going to - at the same time as not wanting to spend too much money. Sad

I'm glad I can now get rid of the outfit! Grin Having said that, I quite like the top. The cross-over is flattering with my boobs and the asymmetry is good for disguising a tummy! Wink

Mimosa1 · 01/11/2017 15:48

Thanks yolo - I think I will exchange them for the size bigger (2cm) but not the extra 4cm I'd planned! I have cankles and no matter how thin I get, my ankles will continue to be wide, sigh..

Pretty great NSV! I've also sent a pair of size 18 trousers to the charity shops. Worn once from
Phase eight but never again. I know exactly what you mean by that desperate feeling looking for an outfit (in my case an important work event) and it's awful. I've just ordered a pair of trousers in a 16 hope they fit! That top is really pretty and a lovely colour but if it's too big, there will be other lovely things.

Great to have you back scabbers and amazing you're so close to goal!

SoMuchToBits · 01/11/2017 15:54

Btw prettybird, you look really like a RL friend of mine - it's hard to believe you're not sisters! Grin

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 01/11/2017 16:06

@TempusEejit in Last weeks thread posted the pictures for the sweet tasting frothy coffee.

It was like Bulletproof ( coconut oil / butter / coffee whisked into frothy ) but with cocoa butter instead of Coconut oil.

You don't need much of the cocoa butter.

So a 500gm bag will make about 200-250 coffees.

Also I have been finding that I'm getting a sweet craving in the evening's only thing that switches the craving off is the tiny tiny amount of the pure cocoa butter. if you look at the ingredients in your 85% chocolate bars its about 2nd place on the list. Has the taste and texture that you are left with after sucking on a piece of chocolate without anything else.

@HarlotsWeb that was my first BC Goal not an Obese but a fatty.
Once got that now trying to be a fitty ie weight around 12st - 8 to 13st 8 and be able ride, garden walk the dog and run for a bus without getting puffed. Target for BC is get into middle of target weight range, only 8lbs to go but is slowing down. But after several years, losing over 100lbs need to calculate in some of the loose skin as part of the B loody M ade I ndicator numbers.
Have noticed it is Slowly shrinking which is good.

@prettybird -- spotted it - no handbag, Grin There is more curve, in the top and the fabric is looser in the top and as mentioned hanging off.

SayrraT · 01/11/2017 16:06

harlot I always do that after the first few weeks of BC as so many drop out (or don't use spreadsheet).

I did a wee graph just now to show the rate of dropping out over the weeks.

Stunt thanks for the sweetener tip, will try going cold turkey again.

Pretty your jawline looks really sharp in your current photo, and can easily see the loss elsewhere as others have mentioned.

Sayrra good luck with your application.

Totty that sounds like a great November goal and very achievable!

prettybird · 01/11/2017 16:12

No sisters somuchtobits Grin - in fact, no female blood relatives in this country at all WinkShock except I think one who shares my silly surname, but her blood link is c.200 years ago as far as we can make out from genealogy

Blackmozart - I've added you to the spreadsheet. You'll be at the bottom unless and until it is next alphabetised. FWIW: I am 56 and now post-menopausal and it does indeed get progressively harder and your waist gets thicker as you get older. But it is still possible to lose weight. Smile

TempusEejit · 01/11/2017 16:13

@Grah0SoontobeaFitty thanks for the cocoa butter tip, I missed that on the last thread. I need to try and quit the sweetness completely so I can drink coffee whilst fasting but this seems like a good thing to transition with - is there any particular brand you recommend?

GailLondon · 01/11/2017 16:26

Great work prettybird ! Nice job on slimming out of the trousers! The top is really nice, I imagine you could keep wearing that a while longer.

My November challenge, to see a 10 on the scale! Currently 11st 3.6

Grah0SoontobeaFitty · 01/11/2017 16:36

@TempusEejit
No suggestion, as I get mine from Costco in Canada and I also have just brought the 1 bag.

starsky22 · 01/11/2017 16:41

Nice graph SayrraT I'm wondering what happened at the end of Oct 16, hardly anyone made it to week 10! I'm guessing christmas parties etc causing people to fall off the wagon. Hoping this year's Oct group can do better!

SoMuchToBits · 01/11/2017 16:42

Must be a coincidence then prettybird, although she also has an unusual (and not originally British) surname. Grin

I am also post menopausal (55) and am managing to lose weight on this WOE where I have failed on others in recent years.

prettybird · 01/11/2017 16:50

Mine is very originally German but my ancestors went to South Africa in the 18th century. Grin

SoMuchToBits · 01/11/2017 16:59

My friend's name is Portuguese, so I don't think you're related! Grin

ilovecherries · 01/11/2017 17:09

Hi there, Scabbers! PrettyBird, Silverburn is a horribly depressing place to shop if you aren't a 16 or under, I don't think they have anywhere that sells anything for bigger women.
