Morning all!

Here, for the last time this Bootcamp is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

Hopefully the scales will be kind to you for our last weigh-in!

For those of you that are still here - even you lurking at the back! - it would be great to hear how much you've lost this Bootcamp.

And also, we'll keep this thread going for chat - when it fills up I'll start another general low carb chat thread.

Oh raisin :( Flowers

Yeah miffy, my brain is mush too! Also i hate getting into 'debates' with anyone anyway, i'm mid asd diagnosis which probably partly explains that. If i'd known it was re cholesterol i would have read up and gone in ready. I was convinced it would be re liver function though, thanks to a ahem, social few weeks!! Grin

successful shopping trip today, pleased with clothes size I am at now ( down one, sometimes two depending on the shop) but hoping to go down one more, should really start working on toning up now too, must order a workout DVD, am really enjoying all the walking I am doing now too

Was silly and did not research lunch places in advance and ended up in a Carluccios! Ordered the anti pasti for 3 which came on this great long tray which of course everyone stopped to look at, I must have looked like a right greedy so and so having it all to myself but was in smug mode at not eating pasta or their meringues which are as big as my head. Actaully find dessert and cake sizes quite off putting nowadays, is it me or since starting LCHF have all sweet things become supersized? It is quite unappetizing really, I find to much easier to avoid the huge slabs of carbs than the tenny little things that sometimes come with your tea or coffee...

Oo lex, i meant to say - i bought some gorgeous high waist jeans in new look a few weeks back, only £20 :)

Romeyroo · 04/08/2015 20:43

RaisinGirls, I am really sorry to hear that Flowers

Not much doing here - lost five pounds due to stress, being away from home and not really eating for lots of reasons. I seem to have lost interest in trying different things after all my digestive issues and got stuck in a rut I know works. So, it was a bit of a struggle when I was away. I probably need to make the effort to be a bit more creative, even some egg muffins rather than an omelette would be a start! In fact, that will be my challenge for tomorrow morning.

Lex, I am finding everything super-sized at the moment, and sweet things horribly sweet - but teeny things that come with your coffee - trickier indeed!

BIWI · 04/08/2015 20:55

Today's menu:

B: coffee
L: 3 small slices of fillet steak I'd forgotten I had stashed in the freezer! Griddled, with mustard and mayo
S: handful (generous) of salted mixed nuts (around 8g per 100g so not really a brilliant choice)
D: Nigel Slater's chicken with preserved lemons and mint. Chicken thighs, skin-on, roasted with peppers, tomatoes and garlic to which you add chopped preserved lemon skins and mint at the end of cooking. Served it with a salad of rocket and asparagus sprue, with parmesan and an oily vinaigrette.

And I sneaked in a cheeky gin and slimline.

So not a great day altogether, but a whole lot better than it's been recently!

Water - so far on 1 litre, will easily do another before bed.

Thanks beyond will check them out too as need another pair, my old ones are so baggy they make me look bigger than I actually am. Would really like to get into size 12, trying clothes on has given me a bit of focus

Dinner was fathead pizza, mmmmmm, could not finish it all

lisbapalea · 05/08/2015 04:02

Sorry to hear your news raisin, I hope you're doing ok.

Forgot to add my food yesterday:
B - berries and yog
L - m&s Greek salad plus sliced chicken
S - tub of berries (and half a nectarine, oops), handful almonds
D - chilli ( tried to pick out the kidney beans) and cauliflower rice
I did sneak a small piece of Lindt milk chocolate. Bad!!

Got the online shopping delivered so lots more options available for the rest of the week....

StoneFoxMama · 05/08/2015 05:44

Oh Lex Whistles in Bath have a lovely pair of high waisted jeans, i think they were only about £24 in the sale, bargain! Love carluccios, Jamie's on the upper level does meaty platters too.

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 05/08/2015 08:00

Oh no Raisin, so sorry to hear that :( Thanks I'm not surprised LC went out the window.

Thanks to all for your get better wishes - I am indeed better, the dry toast thing worked and didn't put any weight back on so I'm half a stone down now from when I started. However - I had a carbytwat day on Monday despite having got over the runs - because DH had made chocolate muffins, so I gave myself the day off before restarting LC.

Since then, back on the wagon.
Failing to have breakfast is still my norm; I might manage a sliver of cheese from when I'm making DS1's sandwiches in the morning but really, I haven't eaten breakfast regularly since I was a child so it's very difficult for me to start.

Lunch is varying between Boursin in celery, courgette, mushroom and cheese omelette and fried halloumi.

Dinner has been good - meat or fish and veggies.

Last night I had a sneaky glass of wine - need to knock that on the head too.

So - 11st 7 now, need to keep going, MUST get below 11st this time around to give me that psychological kick to stop me going over 11st again afterwards.

StuntNun · 05/08/2015 09:37

Yesterday's food:

B: loads of tea with almond milk, raspberries and coconut yoghurt, pan-fried pork belly
S: BPC and some almonds
L: salad leaves with vinaigrette and two slices of ham
D: meatballs in ragu sauce on a bed of courgette, green pepper and a little bit of red onion all roasted in olive oil (omg it was delish and beat pasta hands down)

Another pound off this morning but I think that's at least partially dehydration as I was very thirsty when I woke up.

StoneFoxMama · 05/08/2015 10:00

Day 3 of strict week

B: double shot coffee with almond milk & cream

L: hm egg mayo in a lettuce wrap with goats cheese on the side

Supper: courgette and aubergine spinach and ricotta lasagne again

Snack probably big spoon of natural peanut butter

This comes to 14g carbs so room for another snack if i really need one.

Gcalgske · 05/08/2015 10:17

Good day here, I think

b smoked and roasted salmon, scr eggs in butter
L fried lardons, half shallot, garlic, 3 cherry toms and served over avo mashed with olive oil - was very yummy. Rest of crumble and cream

Not hungry enough for dinner so had Greek yog and berries and cream

2 cups of tea, 1 coffee and cream, just about enough water

Now all I have to do is make it to bedtime without more tea and other things, I am a bit bored and lonely in the evenings at the mo as DH is away so sometimes eating things like choc for this reason, not really hungry

stone thanks, have to go to Bath next week so will have a look, only found super skinny high waisted ones in new look, skinny is not good on my size 14, 5 foot, pear shaped frame in fact skinny not good on anyone over size 8 I expect

SayraT · 05/08/2015 21:22

Food Today

S: 2 slices of crispy bacon, almond milk chai latte
D: Ikea meatballs with a tomato and cream sauce (just tomatoes and cream)

Well today didn't go quite to plan, only ate 12g carbs but a whopping 1,850 cals and 86% fat. Was quite an active day and my hunger went insane. I'm not sure if it's hormone related after all the drugs, I also feel especially like kicking something very hard so probably linked. I'm hoping to have a more balanced day tomorrow.

I'm very sorry to hear such sad news Flowers to both Raisin and Gcal, hope things brighten up for you both very soon.

trashcanjunkie · 05/08/2015 23:45

Oh dear that's rotten awful news for you raisin.

And gcal, as Sayra says, we are here if you need to use us. So sorry for your dad, and you.

Keeping on keeping on here. Am struggling without a working oven, but will be house sitting for two weeks from the 12th then away on jollies for two weeks from the 29th and dp has promised us a new one when we return.

Stonefoxmama you are entirely correct about them limey squidy things from marksys they are bloody lethal. The dressing is like crack cocaine to me. I think about it for days after.
