Morning all - lovely sunny day here!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your confessions

It sounds like some of us have been struggling recently, so I hope that the scales have been kind to you this morning.

If the scales aren't your friend, then don't forget to take your measurements, or to try on that dress/those jeans that were too tight 5 weeks ago - the results here are more meaningful than the scales anyway.

I put some new trousers on yesterday that I bought a couple of weeks ago, and find that they are now too big. Which is both pleasing and annoying at the same time Grin

i have been drinking a fair bit but actually I've found it hard to keep track of how much I've been drinking the last few days...perhaps that's the cause BIWI will make a concerted effort to make sure I'm drinking enough! thanks

Hangonaminutewillyou · 14/06/2015 14:16

thanks very much to Goodasitgets for posting about just using a box grater on it's side to create courgetti...just made it and even DS thought it was tasty with just garlic salt! I also experimented a bit & chucked in some cream cheese and bit of grated parmesan...yum! Here is it again incase anyone missed Goodasitgets earlier post:

right I am trying to make myself a little workour routine to do daily to tone up my new getting slenderer figure. I only want to do core stuff and upper body as my legs are rock solid already due to all the walking (and the tiny bit of running) I do already. Any one got any ideas? I have weights although not heavy and have just stolen a 5kg medicine ball off my mum.

Found this online. A cup of ground almonds is 110g.

BIWI · 14/06/2015 17:31

Fantastic - thanks very much! I bought some ground almonds last week, so will have to have a go at that.

Today's food
BPC
3 bacon rashers, 1 fried egg, cucumber
Dinner is in the oven: roasting a chicken with garlic and olive oil. Will serve with swede chips. Smells gorgeous.

plumstone · 14/06/2015 18:41

Hi all, today has been good food wise:

B- eggs and bacon, fried creamy mushrooms
L - chicken and mayonnaise
D - fajita mince, sour cream and cheese

W - it's a work in progress!!!

However I have noticed that in wholefoods, they do CoYo ice cream, however as its 7.99 for a tub it will have to wait till payday, if anyone has tried it please can you let me know!!

Preminstreltension · 14/06/2015 19:10

I didn't have time to shop for meatzza this week so will try to make that next week. But my new recipe tryout was the garlic breadsticks posted by blessed. I had that in a pizza and it was really just as nice as dough pizza. Pizza Express need to introduce that onto their menu. Fab. Will try the fathead crust next.

Otherwise a bit of a rubbish weekend. Not foodwise but have been very stressed and miserable. Too much work, too much childcare, too many chores, blah blah blah. It's very unlike me to be so grumpy. I even had a glass of wine which I never do, esp not on BC. But I thought it might improve my mood which it has, a bit. I know that sounds really bad but I probably drink about ten glasses of wine a year so I don't think I'm hurtling towards an alcohol dependency problem! Anyway still koko.

ewanhoozami · 14/06/2015 19:45

sorry you've had a shit weekend, minstrel You have meatzza in your near future, things are looking up Wink

hangon I'm not sure about the muscle vs fat thing but I know I've lost v little in the last couple of weeks where I've been strength conditioning although I definitely am slimmer. The emergency size-up jeans I bought in a chunky-thighed panic a few months ago were officially too big this morning.

B - 3 fried eggs on spinach
L - avocado, salami, rocket
D - pan-fried sea bream in a samphire and cockle sauce with asparagus and braised celeriac. Doing a food styling shoot this eve, which has some perks!

Preminstreltension · 14/06/2015 19:49

DCs can tell I'm a bit down - they've both just come downstairs with £5 each from their piggy banks to give to me to cheer me up... Honestly I have nothing to complain about with those two beauties. Feeling v tearful now but in a Smile way.

ewanhoozami · 14/06/2015 20:27

Take the money and RUN! Grin

bless 'em.

trashcanjunkie · 14/06/2015 21:02

Coyo is very nice if you can't have dairy, but otherwise don't bother as it's very pricey.

We have eaten out this morning (bc friendly) full English type thing, and now, dirty beggars that we are, we are getting a curry. Tandoori mix grill with cauli and bindhi bhaji. Spoke to the restaurant and they are making it without any verboten ingredients.

Hoo raa!

Done bugger all today except get up at stupid o clock and drive to airport to drop off student. Then ate breakfast and went back to bed and slept like the dead Grin

It has been marvellous.

lisbapalea · 14/06/2015 22:25

Busy weekend here. My feeling crap has turned into a nasty cold and cough as well as period so have been a bit of a grumpy cow! Have stayed on track although poss haven't drunk as much as I should have. I certainly don't feel optimistic about weigh in tomorrow and really hope I haven't gone back up as I do feel bloated and bleurgh. Food from yesterday and today below:

Sat
B - yogurt with berries
L - slow cooked beef brisket, coleslaw and horseradish (was at an air show and this was the best option I could find at one of the catering vans! It was supposed to be a baguette filling but I had it without bread)
D - leftover cauli curry with saag paneer.

Sun
B - 2 roasted mushrooms with lots f butter, 1 fried egg, half an avocado, Tabasco and olive oil drizzled on top
L - salad leaves with oil on, roasted aubergine, courgettes and some pepper stirred with pesto, some mozzarella
D - creamy chicken casserole thing with back, leek, mushroom, shallot, stock and cream, with buttered cabbage and broccoli. Pudding was a few berries and double
cream.

First day in new job tomorrow so will be getting lunch at the canteen I think (I decided bringing packed lunch on day one was a bit tragic), so I am in the hands of fate for that, but will do my best to choose wisely!

Hangonaminutewillyou · 14/06/2015 22:32

Oh Ewan I can't wait for that to be me! When I put on weight I just carried on squishing myself into my clothes & felt very uncomfortable & repulsive....they are definitely starting to fit me better now but I truly look forward to declaring to DH that I require time to myself to go shopping for new clothes as they are now too big. This is my first (intermediate) goal - to drop a clothes size (more important to me than weight loss)! I have been re-reading Dr Briffa's Escape the Diet Trap too. Really inspiring & definitely learning more second time round. It's such a good read, hard to put it down.

LexLoofah · 15/06/2015 03:23

Hello all

Busy day: DH departed for work trip, kids party and orange is the new black season 3 on Netflix, yay

b - sausage, scrambled eggs and cheese
L - chicken drumstick, avec skin, cucumber, lettuce, hm mayo
d - Serrano ham, Boursin, dill pickle - decided not to cook salmon as planned as house viewing in the morning so wanted to avoid stinky house/bin

Jersey thick cream mixed with melted choc sq, thanks gacl think that was your idea

Not enough veg today but loads of water, will do better tomorrow
