We filled up the last thread and we still have 3 weeks to go until the next official BC so here is our new inbetween BC thread.

So, I was good yesterday and now all of my confessions are lost on the previous thread Grin but I am going to carry on with daily weighing and food recording so this morning I weighed 225 lbs.

Oh Drama, that will be lovely. Where are you off to?
Haven't weighed today but I am definitely behaving myself.
B - coffee with cream
L - salad with Caesar dressing and a couple of frozen grapes
D - going to attempt to make a curry with cauliflower rice. Not sure how it's going to go but I'll report back later

readyforno2 · 24/04/2015 17:37

Can anyone tell me how long I can keep cauliflower that's been blitzed for rice? Can I freeze it?
Bought a new food processor today and went a bit crazy!

CrabbyTheCrabster · 24/04/2015 19:36

Marking place, because I shall be joining you all on Monday.

Gcalgske · 24/04/2015 19:43

Stunt thank you - I'd never thought of it that way. Did you find the unflavoured coconut oil?

TheHappyCamper · 24/04/2015 19:54

I have drunk SO much water today! I can't stop going to the loo Blush. That's good right .... ?

Tomorrow is my first real test on day 21, we are going to the nearest city shopping for a few bits and will have lunch out. It will likely be Asda Café or similar. What will I eat? At home I've been having either bacon, egg & sausage or chicken Caesar salad usually. The 'old' me would always have a jacket potato.

Also, I made some delicious coconut cookies today and wanted to check they are ok (I'm pretty sure they are). To make 9 cookies - 3 TBS coconut flour, 1 tsp almond flour, 1 TBS sweetner, 1 egg, 2 TBS butter. Mix and bake. They are so yummy spread with you've guessed it ... more butter! Coconut flour is quite carby at 27g/100g but the fibre is also very high so I can't quite work it out. Plus it weighs almost nothing so 3 TBS was about 25g maybe.

SayraT · 24/04/2015 19:55

ready I am not sure, I did some the other day then left it overnight forgot to put it away and it dried out, I did wonder if I could freeze it. Why not try freezing a bit and see what happens?

Oh, I forgot to post my food!

Food Today

B: Fried egg, bacon and sausage, two coffees with cream
L: Nothing
D: Lettuce spread with pate, pork scratchings
S: Nuts, mini choc bar

HappyCamper why can't you just have bacon and eggs like you do at home? Does Asda do breakfasts?

OP posts:
TheHappyCamper · 24/04/2015 20:21

Thanks, I'm hoping they do all day breakfasts. I think they might stop them when they start the lunch menu though. Oh well, it will be an adventure!

StuntNun · 24/04/2015 20:43

I'm going to try ghee Gcalske on the basis that it is theoretically protein free so it shouldn't affect DS4 if he is dairy intolerant. DH make leeks steamed with olive oil and water today. They were vile. Hmm DS4 has been cluster feeding today: twelve feeds so far! I have been starving and ended up eating DS2's pork chop fat at dinner. I just couldn't resist it! I guess I need the extra calories. Maybe DS4 will feed all night too and I'll be two pounds lighter in the morning!

readyforno2 · 24/04/2015 20:50

Thanks Sayra, It's in the freezer. I'm planning on taking it to work next week along with the leftover curry so fingers crossed it works out. I'll let you know.

nappyaddict · 24/04/2015 20:50

gcalgske how do you rice a cauliflower?

SayraT · 24/04/2015 20:55

nappy you can either blitz it up in a food processor (thats what I do) or you can grate it with a cheese grater.

ready let us know how it goes, you can be our guinea pig Grin

I hope frozen cauli rice is OK as I bagged two lots in a batch cooking frenzy last week, I think it will be just fine re-heated/fried. Also froze some cauli pizza bases so will report back when I use them

Just catching up, spent waaaayyy too long on the beauty routine/Caroline Hirons thread today.

B - courgette & bacon omlette, cuppa
L - egg & salad cream salad, olives, cuppa, sq dark choc
D - will be steak with herb & garlic butter and buttered broccoli, DH and I agreed we don't need a starch replacement like mashed swede or cauli as not v hungry, been hungry on about 6/10 scale the last few evenings

DramaAlpaca · 24/04/2015 21:17

ready my parents have a holiday home in Spain and they have kindly offered to let us use it. My lovely DM has even offered to pay for the flights as an anniversary present, so we are very lucky Smile

SayraT · 24/04/2015 21:24

Ooh, lex I wanted to try freezing some cauli-pizza bases as I like them but its a faff making them. Looking forward to hearing if they work out.

OP posts:
LexLoofah · 24/04/2015 21:28

sayra They are a bit of a faff aren't they so I thought i would just make a big batch, suspect I will have to re-bake to dry out/crisp up and then top and bake again but definitely quicker than from scratch. my main complaint is that cauli has a way of pinging off all over the counter no matter what I do so best to get the mess over with in one go -- shall let you know

HemanOrSheRa · 24/04/2015 23:06

I've frozen uncooked cauli rice and it was fine. I'd be interested to know if freezing cooked cauli rice works ok. It would be good to have a big batch in the freezer to zap in the microwave.

25 years Drama! That's lovely. It's nice that you know where you're going so you won't get any nasty accommodation shocks. You'll just be able to relax.

Our holiday to Cornwall at the end of May is looming. I'll have to get myself into my wetsuit so I can go surfing with DS. I have one already as we go regularly (my Dad has a holiday home there) and DS and I love surfing/bodyboarding. I do feel a bit self conscious in it though. It would be so nice to have to buy a new one in a smaller size Smile.

I went without food for 6 hours today. Not by choice. I had a strange morning at work. By the time I got to eat my lunch at 3 pm I was hungry but not an awful, panicky, shaky hunger like I would have had before LCing. And I didn't feel the need to overeat either. This WOE has definitely stabilised my blood sugar levels, without a doubt. I can't remember the last time I went 6 hours without eating and not feeling like crying because I felt so awful.

Gcalgske · 25/04/2015 00:23

Good luck stunt, I have to do a milk trial with dd (again - she keeps failing) in the next month. Dreading it. Fab news heman, the non scale victories are such added bonuses. I've frozen raw cauli rice and bases. The bases didn't come out well :( but then I prefer fathead pizza now anyway.
i have just downed 2lt of water and expect to be up to wee at least three times. Better lose weight. Ha!

trashcanjunkie · 25/04/2015 00:28

I am in Poole. Brother's party. Think I had too much coffee on the way here. Either that or having four hour long panic attack. Have ditched party and in premier inn now. Party shit.

BerylStreep · 25/04/2015 01:35

Are you OK Trash?

I've just realised that other than some coffees with cream today, I hadn't eaten for 24 hours. Had a late lunch yesterday of cold gammon and coleslaw, didn't feel like dinner, and didn't manage brunch until 3pm today.

I have probably undone it all - have been out tonight for a meal and several drinks.

Romeyroo · 25/04/2015 06:26

Flowers trash, right thing to listen to your feeling and leave the party. I hope you are okay this morning. Coffee can heighten anxiety and panic; on its own, I am not sure it can cause it. Make sure and focus on your own needs this morning if there is any fallout from the 'party shit'

I am stuck on the same weight here - if nothing else, I am amazed at the stability - but I need to make a bit more effort if I want to lose last couple of pounds, I think. I am just muddling along at the moment, all BC friendly, but not very focused. Reflects my mind!

Gcalgske · 25/04/2015 10:40

Trash Flowers
I find parties unbearable sometimes because of my anxiety, noise, lights and and drunk unpredictable people are a bit too much. Huge hugs xxxx

trashcanjunkie · 25/04/2015 10:51

Thanks you guys Grin

Dp congratulated me on making an early exit. We feel okay this morning. Am still in comfy hotel bed (after nice breakfast)

Will check in later. Def giving up bloody coffee.

readyforno2 · 25/04/2015 12:08

Tonight is going to be HARD. am heading to an Italian restaurant for a cocktail masterclass and meal for my friends hen night.
What can I eat without totally derailing myself? I am going to have a couple of drinks but not going hard on it as I purposely arranged a day out with my dsis tomorrow and have to drive. Next weekend we are going to wedding receptions on both the Friday and Saturday! Why is it so difficult?!
