Gonna properly keep track on here for a bit, so i can hopefully see what needs tweaking myself :)

Plus, when i keep track properly, it keeps me on track, so i'll be filling the chat thread up less with every single morsel that passes my lips Grin

I hope you don't mind but I'm watching this thread to see what you are eating while Low Carbing. I'm thinking about doing the May bootcamp. It all looks lovely! It felt a bit weird looking and not letting you know Confused.

AWholeLottaNosy · 04/04/2015 16:36

Curious to know how much weight you've lost now? You're doing great!

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 04/04/2015 19:43

Hi :) i'm keeping track here as being on mn too much often, it was the easiest place to do it! But feel free to read it, if you find it helps then fantastic.

I've lost 10lbs so far, which isnt as much as some people but i am a wheelchair user so i was expecting slower loss.

Snack today - almonds and a cup of coffee

Dinner - butter chicken tikka and fried veg in garlic butter (asparagus, mange tout, shallots, a mushroom)

Litre of water

Can I join?

I am planning on having carbs for breakfast and no carbing for the remainder of the day. I need some recipe tips otherwise I will end up eating meat/fish with salad/veg everyday!

Breakfast
Two slices of brown toast - one with cheese, one with marmalade (no butter)

Lunch
Fish with vegetables or oats porridge and semi skimmed milk

Dinner
Chicken and vegetables

Drinks - tea (no sugar), diluted squash

Snacks - muesli bar, apple, pear, chocolate squares, mini yoghurt

babygiraffe86 · 07/04/2015 11:06

Well done beyond

I have a month until a holiday so am spending that time low carbing and you've inspired me - especially with some of your ideas, I was struggling to think outside the box.

Breakfast so far has been either ham or smoked salmon rolled up and filled with cottage cheese.

nuts and cheddar as snacks,

tuna with olive oil and salad for lunches.

and mussells for tea tonight - yum!

just thought i'd pop on and let you know we are reading and cheering you on all the way.

minibmw2010 · 07/04/2015 18:12

Can I join you ladies? Have only started yday and could do with guidance in case of getting anything wrong?

B: scrambled egg, small amount of smoked salmon and half avocado. Eggs made with butter and dash of double cream.

L: leftover bolognaise made with 20% beef from last night on a bed of salad leaves and half avocado.

D: 3 Asda sausages (0.5g carb per 100g) and steamed cauliflower mash with some butter and cheese.

5 pints of water so far.

Does that sound ok? I'm 13 stone.

Thank you.

Not that i dont want people sharing the thread Blush you are of course welcome. I just wonder if you are new to low carb bootcamp, the chat thread might be a bit more helpful as there are very clever people there who can give advice? Whereas i was just using this to keep track of my food and nothing else Blush

Plus, i'm not sure if you know, this is the "bootcamp" specific area, if you are doing a different type of low carb diet, you might be better off in the general low carb section? (Or, even better, if ithe posters here could talk you round to the bootcamp way of life? Wink )

Lunch - bbq-ed lamb, fried leeks, mushrooms, mange tout and cabbage, brocolli

3rd litre of water. Going out the back now, so hope to drink enough to lose count again Grin
