Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

And The Weight Tracker

Up at silly o'clock to catch a train to Leeds so no time for anything else.

Hope your weigh-in brings you good news. But if it doesn't - don't fall into a pile of biscuits - come and rant about it here!

Mrsstevejones · 25/02/2015 08:36

Still in agony after mondays exercise - any fitties got any tips? Its been so long since i exercised properly.

B-BPC, painkillers, decaf coffee with cream
L- Green smoothie
D - Not sure yet

Pisseslikeahorse · 25/02/2015 08:40

Mrsstevejones - whats the pain, is it muscle or something else?
What are you doing and are you warming up / down, doing any stretching?

ChesterDrawers · 25/02/2015 08:55

MrsS have you done anything since? Weirdly I find, if I'm really aching, a gentle run or workout really helps loosen me up. And lots of stretching too.

ChesterDrawers · 25/02/2015 08:58

Whoops sorry, posted too soon.

Was going to say...I think you mentioned you'd just joined a gym, so why not go for half an hour or so and just do gentle stuff, walking on treadmill, bike or cross trainer, nothing too strenuous, you might find that helps. Or if your gym has a pool a swim maybe?

Mrsstevejones · 25/02/2015 09:08

Thanks pisses and chester, i might try that. Its just muscles protesting after 3 years of not being used!

I have a manic schedule with 2 kids and general life stuff. I was going to go swimming last night but i was knackered after the kids went to bed so just watched holby instead. I am going to the libary with kids today so hopefully a nice stroll with buggy with sort me out.

It was a legs, bums and tums class so warm up and cool down included, then i went swimming ( 10 slow lengths) but i think its just a shock to my poor muscles. Hopefully will ease off tom.

BIWI · 25/02/2015 09:11

For muscles, you should eat some protein in the 20-30 minutes after you've completed your gym work. But then just have to ride it out! Currently still suffering from that in my quads after a brutal workout on Sunday - but still, means I know I worked hard Grin

Mrsstevejones · 25/02/2015 09:27

Will try the protein, more stretching etc. I did give it my all, i was very pleased at the time but feeling less smug now!

lurkingmurking · 25/02/2015 09:43

Mrssteve do this stretch video (she is annoying but it's great)

lurkingmurking · 25/02/2015 09:45

Sorry if TMI but I am still get intermittent diarroea. It's almost as though I am slightly intolerant to something I'm eating but I can't think what it could be. Coconut oil is the only new thing I've introduced - surely it can't be that!

I am having quite a bit of cream too so I wonder whether that's not helping.

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 09:46

mrss it always hurts more the day after, the day after. There is a reason for it and a name but I forget!

Best thing to do is a 5 min warm up and then stretch them again. Don't stretch them cold.

Or just be reassured that it won't be as bad tomorrow. Smile

Mrsstevejones · 25/02/2015 09:50

Thanks for the link lurking i will try that.

I also have your problem (shame) and i def think its the coconut oil. After i have my BPC i HAVE to go - no constipation issues here (yuk, sorry). I did read that the coconut oil is known for this effect and it can take your body a while to adjust. I have been waiting 5 months however! I also dont have a gall bladder ( thanks VLCD shakes) and i am not sure if i can handle a very high fat diet as effectively, but its working so i will just KOKO.

Mrsstevejones · 25/02/2015 09:52

Thanks Sass, thats what i am hoping. I have beginners spinning tom!

Gcalgske · 25/02/2015 10:00

lurking it's common with coconut oil, don't try MCT oil unless you want to become very intimately acquainted with your loo.

galbraith · 25/02/2015 10:06

I AM UNBUNGED!!! Grin Grin Grin A really hot beanless chile and some stomach massage has done the trick!

Gcalgske the flaxseed/parmesan coating sounds insanely delicious, definitely going to try some chicken kiev-ish things using your method, thanks!

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 10:28

biwi

I think you should give some serious consideration to changing he thread title to;

The one where everyone talks shit.

Wink Grin

lurkingmurking · 25/02/2015 10:34

Oh wow that's interesting and good to know. Damn you coconut oil! I'll keep having BPC but definitely only one a day.

Gcalgske · 25/02/2015 10:43

Chicken Kiev! Awe now that sounds awesome. Could experiment with flavoured butters? Who mentioned Sundried tomato pesto the other day? That would be awesome. Coconut is a good coating too. My little girl loves coconut chicken nuggets (dredged in coconut flour, egg then desiccated coconut) or prawns work like that too. I like them with a spicy stir fry or dip.

imustbepatient · 25/02/2015 11:12

Great to hear that some whooshes are starting to take place! Well done!

ChesterDrawers · 25/02/2015 11:25

Sass it's called DOMS, which from memory is delayed onset muscle soreness. I actually like it as I know it means I've done a good workout. Currently aching after two days of kettlebells classes - ouch!

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 11:40

Yes that's it Chester I had mom or mim in my head. Ha

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 11:45

I keep meaning to do something. I have a little mini gym of weights in my garage, with a smith machine and kettle bells and dumb bells.

I keep telling myself I need to loose a bit more weight 1st.

And I don't know why because I love it.

Probably just the knowledge of the effort and pain it takes!

I have Shaun it's new T25 too.

Someone want to come and quick me up the butt?!

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 11:45

Shaun T's

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 11:46

Kick

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 25/02/2015 11:50

I've dropped the cream from coffee now, tried a black coffee but its too strong (tassimo, not instant), so i'm gonna swap to daily bpc's. Only usually have a coffee with breakfast and then herbal tea. The laxative effect of coconut oil is a plus anyway Grin

Lunch will be something avocado based, i have low carb chilli for tea too :)
