Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

And The Weight Tracker

Up at silly o'clock to catch a train to Leeds so no time for anything else.

Hope your weigh-in brings you good news. But if it doesn't - don't fall into a pile of biscuits - come and rant about it here!

Morning all.

I'm just checking in as I fell off the wagon spectacularly around the middle of last week - was so disheartened at having not lost for over 3 weeks and had a lot of meals out over the course of several days and just sort of though what the hell.

Anyway I'm not going to dwell, suffice to say it hasn't made me feel good and I've actually been missing the low carb food so am determined to see out the rest of bootcamp and see where that gets me. It's worked for me in the past, I don't know if it's age or metabolism or what that's slowing me down this time but will carry on regardless.

Another one here with emptyish cupboards and budget for this week looking a bit end-of-the-month-ish. Luckily have some stuff in the freezer.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 23/02/2015 09:52

The scales have stuck there tongue out at me this morning. Although I had eaten breakfast and had a coffee the amount they were showing would not be excuseable just by taking into account breakfast. I need to basically restart bootcamp I think. So

B: 2 eggs scramble, 2 sausages. 2 coffees (caffinated)
S: decaff coffee

Ds is off school so I am not in the office. This makes it harder to not snack harder. But I will sort this. I know where the carb creep was kicking in. I know why i derailed. I clearly have no excuses anymore. Blush

Sass I've added you

MrsSteve and Notso amazing losses well done!!

RandomHouseRules · 23/02/2015 09:59

Am down a pound or so this morning. Have also been guilty of carb creep. Sticking it out til the end though - in the past I have dropped out of boot camp at around week 6 -determined not to do so this time. I feel healthier and happier and I think we are all eating enter as a family. So I will ko ko!

surprisedbyjoy · 23/02/2015 10:22

Flowers for Dr Diva.

Quietly keeping on here with just over a pound off this week which I'm pleased with. Gives me a fighting chance of achieving half a stone over the 10 weeks.

mootime · 23/02/2015 10:22

Drdiva, so sorry to hear your news. Flowers

Better week here than anticipated. I've list the 4lb gain from last week plus another 3!! So that's 7lbs this week (4lb last week was clearly period bloating - must remember that this time next month.)
So I'm 11st 7. I've not been this weight since 4 babies ago! 12lb since new year.
I def need to get excersizing though as I'm starting to look a bit saggy and wobbly!
Still a way to go to fighting weight but feeling like its achievable for the first time in ages.

galbraith · 23/02/2015 10:26

Embarassed to say that I drank a bit too much on Saturday night and was so hungover yesterday that I ate some extremely questionable things!

I'll be good today and weigh tomorrow instead... Blush

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 23/02/2015 10:27

Up one lb at the moment, not grewt but could be worse. Will be dropping cream and cream cheese as soon as they run out, and already cutting down on the snacks. As with someone on the end of the last thread, i seem to have fallen into the trap of "oh this is low carb, that is low carb, the otheris low carb, its okay to have all three!". Concious effort needed!! :)

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 23/02/2015 10:28

Period is still here though, how long does period blat last? Fingers crossed i'll have an unexpected whoosh Grin

sassandfaff · 23/02/2015 10:54

Drd Flowers and unmumsnetty hug.
Well done everybody and KOKO to those climbing back on that wagon!
I have good news on the wagon-climbing front myself - hauled my ass back on after previous weeks birthday-and-stress-related twattery, despite half term and I have finally broken through the yo-yo-ing and got to 162lbs -a 1lb away from my goal weight from the previous bootcamp. Meaning I've lost 34lbs on the previous bc and this one. Beyond thrilled.
Also bought a pair of size 14 skinny stretch jeans without trying on and they fit!!!! This has been unheard of for a loooonnngggg time.
Could some kind person update the sheet for me please?? Week 4 to read 163 and week 5 162.
Am considering now whether I'll actually aim for another 7lb under goal weight, long term as that would still be a healthier weight BMI wise..and really need to stop being derailed exercise-wise to pull it all together.
But for now, KOKO. More family birthdays next week so aiming to have a good one this week to offset any twattery to come.
Once again can I offer my thanks to all the seasoned boot campers who give so much of themselves to help us do this. It really is awesome.

tartiflette · 23/02/2015 12:04

Well done yong you've inspired me!

Ok plan today:
B- bacon and eggs
L- ham and cheese salad
D- taco bake with guacamole and sour cream

Plenty of water and shall try to limit the cream coffees...

yongnian · 23/02/2015 12:25

Oh, well that's nice tartiflette thanks, glad you are feeling inspired Smile. It's one of the many things I love about this WOE - its never too late for a bit of ass-back-on-the-wagon hauling and a concerted effort brings result.
Yes, i concentrated on water and fat levels last week (plus twattery-swerving of course) and that did the trick, hopefully will for you too. Wink.

BIWI · 23/02/2015 12:38

God, I could kill for some tartiflette right now!

Just had a very judgy comment about having cream in my coffee from a colleague. I smiled and nodded.

MrsKoala · 23/02/2015 13:10

Hi All

Sorry to hear that DrDiva. Flowers

I have stayed the same this week (12st 13lb) which i'm really pleased about. Had a tough few days with little sleep (ds1 up 3-5am the last 3 nights and ds2 waking every hour for feeds/crying). Yesterday we took DS2 to a&e as we were worried about him not eating enough and having dry nappies. I had been up all night and then in the hospital for 3hrs so had to choose the least carby thing in the canteen - a gammon stew - which turned up with about 3 chunks of meat and loads of spuds and butterbeans . I am getting quite cross with eating out. The day before we went for a day out and again there was nothing at the English Heritage restaurant remotely suitable so i had the 2 mini peperamis in my bag and was grumpy watching everyone else eat :(

I think i am going to struggle losing any more weight now as i am in the 25 bmi zone and i'm looking pretty okay for my size. But i still would like to lose another stone so i may have to ubercamp in the week.

I've ordered a couple of low carb cookbooks to see if i can find some more interesting meals.

ijustwanttobeme · 23/02/2015 13:12

lurking This is what I find about the cream in coffee thing. Instead of mainlining cups of the stuff, which is coupled with one (or four) biscuits; I have one as soon as I get in from work and that along with my 'continental breakfast' keeps me going till lunch.

Tell your colleague to mind their own ??

ijustwanttobeme · 23/02/2015 13:13

To clarify: Cups of the stuff being regular coffee with milk

lurkingmurking · 23/02/2015 13:19

Ijust yes exactly - I used to drink tea and coffee all day with 2 spoons of sugar - surely this is better!!

lurkingmurking · 23/02/2015 13:19

OMG I've just had a thought - does this mean we can have a guilt free coffee frappucino with cream on top in the Summer??

DrDiva · 23/02/2015 13:22

Thank you everyone for the flowers - my office smells lovely now! Smile

I really feel like my head is back somewhere approaching normality now, so hoping that helps me back onto the straight and narrow foodwise. Went and had the eggs at the cafe, they were delicious, and have just finished the cauliflower cheese soup I found in the freezer last night. Also lovely. Haven't drunk much this morning as was running round at work like a deranged thing, so about to go remedy that.

Thanks for MrsK . Sleep deprivation is the utter pits. I have threatened DS with adoption by a circus for being the Ultimate Nonsleeping Baby many a time.

LexLoofah · 23/02/2015 14:01

Hello all and sorry to hear that DrD.

Feeling better today, helped by the 2lb loss on the scales and a few cms off tummy and hips, yay! I can actually see a change in the mirror now when I stand side on, my second tummy, the one between my saggy post babies tummy and my boobs is flatter and my curves are more defined.

Am out of BMI borderline obese dangerzone now but still have a way to go but heading in the right direction, goal for next few weeks is to be as strict as I can to lose 4lbs to get me into the 140s

DH stayed the same, had a bottle of wine at the weekend and town last weekend and has now learned that won't work for him right now.
