Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

And The Weight Tracker

Up at silly o'clock to catch a train to Leeds so no time for anything else.

Hope your weigh-in brings you good news. But if it doesn't - don't fall into a pile of biscuits - come and rant about it here!

I'm not sure who recommended roasted green beans. They are fantastic, they taste just like chips. I didn't have too many as thought they may be a bit carby. Many thanks

CharlieSierra · 24/02/2015 19:02

Bloody hell I hope they aren't too carby Pleaseandthankyou, they are my go to chip substitute and I've been recommending them all over the place.

Mrsstevejones · 24/02/2015 19:09

Right i am getting a bit neurotic! Earlier i was worrying i was eating too much fat and not loosing fast enough -then had been dairy free week and then dropped 5lbs whoo. Will def be keeping dairy to a minimum for now on.

Now i have watched some youtube vids about HFLC and am worried i am not eating enough fat or more precisely calories from fat, so can someone please review my days food and possibly give me a slap and tell me to stop over thinking this!!!

B- BPC 25g butter, 1 tbsp of coconut oil
L- Fatty beef mince - bolognaise style with cauli rice and sprinkle of cheese
S- BPC
D- Bacon chop oven roasted over leeks, swede, brussels sprouts and green pepper with a tiny sprinkle of parmesan - all cooked in lard and butter, served with mayo.

Quite often i have a green smoothie (avocado, spinach, coconut oil and cucumber) instead of a proper meal but today had leftovers.

4 litres of water, i think my portions are a reasonable size, possibly could be smaller. I am starting to do more exercise and i love the food and feel and look tonnes better - i am nearly a size 16, so its def working.

DrDiva · 24/02/2015 19:28

Bitchy Thanks for the food avoidance issues. I'm afraid I don't have any answers as this is what I am struggling with too, but I offer solidarity...

Grah0SoontobeaFatty · 24/02/2015 19:54

If using Flax seed make sure you grind them if you buy them whole.

There are plenty of videos on line about make flax seed breed.

Tried 1 the other day cup of ground seed 2 eggs baking powder mix splash of water.
2-3 minute in microwave and the slice in half voila - sarnie.

Due to carb fibre ratio supposed to be zero. Just made a change - did a coconut flour version and it tasted like cake.

Went out to eat twice over the weekend Chicken wings and guacamole.

1lb of wings about 10 - 3gms carb according to menu.
salt and paper flavour - mix guacamole and hot sauce for the dip

For desert full fat cheese cake no biscuit -was very tempting but survived.

lost 1.9lb last week - 203.6 Yea a fatty for my height.
last night scale was - 205.4 going to bed
this morning - 202.9 - lowest in 15 years --
Stepped off pushed the button for measuring body fat instead of quick weight - and gained half a pound 203.4.

Wow who know breathing was fattening ha ha ha.

See problem with Scale next to the toilet - half naked already so a quick check. No I don't fuss over the numbers as I've seen it go up 7lb and down 5lb in a week. Especially when I don't drink enough water.

Bigger number means drink more lower number means drinking enough.

Have fun KOKO and suck it up 4 weeks to go.

Processed Food Bliss Point the comments at the start of this Real Meal Revolution video are very interesting and may be eye opening to some.

cymrukernow · 24/02/2015 20:54

Fell off the wagon today and had a diet coke. Did not really crave the syrupy taste, but i like the caffeine hit. Can anyone recommend a natural pick me up that doesn't involve coffee ( I don't do hot drinks)

Off for an early night as shattered once again. Lots of driving on Tuesdays plus a full day at work, dealing with DS by myself as DH away all week. Whacked!

Just checking in to confirm a good day here. Really fancied a glass of wine tonight so had one, but didn't even have a top up - unheard of. The rest of the bottle remains untouched.

Weird things are afoot.

Night all.

trashcanjunkie · 24/02/2015 21:46

Evening ladies and gentlemen.

Thumbwitch I'm absolutely fine re constipation, it was just after surgery and hospital and morphine that I needed 'help' Grin

Pisses Cheers buddy! Dp has requested membership of that fb group straightaway. He says a big thanks for the pointer!

Food today

B - 2 boiled eggs with butter and mayo
L - Tin of tuna with mayo and avocado plus salad (romaine leaves, radish, red pepper, cucumber) dressed in olive oil and vinegar, salt n pepper
D - Cottage Pie which was basically beef mince flavoured with a touch of cumin and cayenne, half a tiny red onion and a a sprinkle of garlic powder all cooked in butter, then topped with a mashed swede and celeriac with more butter and a splash of milk plus salt n pepper.

Fluid - Water and couple of small cups of tea.

What is the difference between swede and turnip?

BIWI · 24/02/2015 21:52

Swede is bigger and more orange; turnips are small and white/purple

Ah, in that case, I had swede this evening Grin

trashcanjunkie · 24/02/2015 22:02

definitely not fucksake!

ijustwanttobeme · 24/02/2015 22:07

Checking in before bed:

L: salmon nicotine salad, minus the potatoes.

Slipped up slightly at dinner as although had chicken, with a creamy mushroom and peppercorn sauce, it came with assorted veges. I'd popped a carrot in my mouth before I realised. Oops! After refusing dessert I then proceeded to accept a freebie liqueur - what was I thinking?!

Back on track tomorrow

imustbepatient · 24/02/2015 22:10

Evening all, just a quick post with today's food.

B bacon and eggs with mayo
L pret chicken salad and bag of pork scratchings
D cod with black olive pesto spread on top then rolled in Parma ham, oven baked on bed of fennel, served with celeriac chips and roasted green beans. Was divine. I had a mini bar of G&B dark choc as a real treat afterwards, really enjoyed it but happy to stick at just that small amount.

My period seems to have finally arrived properly (hence the choc!) so I am really hoping that will mean the scales will start to move again.

nowitsenough · 24/02/2015 22:23

As I was running late this evening, instead of making cottage pie, I just quickly made burgers and served them with sprouts and broccoli and a small spoon of coleslaw and a dollop of mayonnaise - yum!

Feeling better now. I've had 4 big mugs of peppermint tea (approx 1.2 litres in total), 1 litre of water and 2 mugs of black decaf coffee.

sassandfaff · 24/02/2015 22:29

Today

B 2bacon 2 egg
L broccoli soup
D pork stroganoff and cauli mash
S 85% choc x2. 2 glasses of wine (naughty)

Night everyone.

Gcalgske · 24/02/2015 22:58

Coconut flax yog for brekkie
Lunch was half a chicken breast with a couple of cauliflower falafel and cucumber/radish/ coconut milk raita
Dinner fried radishes, asparagus and ham in butter.
Lots of decaf tea with almond milk
DD has decided being constipated isn't enough and vomiting is now the order of the day. Ffs. Koko everyone. X

Thumbwitch · 24/02/2015 23:05

ijust - I'm so sorry, I just PMSL at your "salmon nicotine salad" - I'm assuming that's a DYAC for nicoise? Grin

I really need to try these roast beans, they sound lush! DH keeps bloody cooking the things before I can get to them though.

B today = slice of cold roast turkey (roasted it myself, not shop-bought)
L - haven't decided yet but could be more omelette.

tartiflette · 24/02/2015 23:06

B: 2 hb eggs, mayo, coffee & cream
L: tuna mayo, green salad, coffee & cream
D: broccoli and leek soup, raspberries and Total, another coffee & cream

Not enough water. Will do better tomorrow.
DH away and busy work day, really needed the coffees!

sassandfaff · 25/02/2015 06:52

13 stone 9!

Which means I have officially lost 1 stone since new years day.

Hooray.

RandomHouseRules · 25/02/2015 07:02

Finally had a whoosh! 3lbs down since the weekend, having been hovering a more of less the same weight for three weeks. Am only 2 lbs off target for this bootcamp now and feeling great about it! Thanks BIWI and all of you for the support!

Yesterday:
B: 2 spinach and mushroom egg muffins
L: broccoli and leek quiche no pastry)
D: Salmon with creamed leeks and mushrooms
Snacks: 2 babybels
(Just realised how samey all my veg was yesterday!)

Today:
B: 2 spinach and mushroom egg muffins
L: avocado and goats cheese salad
D: Salmon with cauli rice and green peppers

ijustwanttobeme · 25/02/2015 07:03

thumbwitch Ha ha, yes meant to be nicoise.

Realised this morning that despite TOTM and all that, I did not get the massive rage I usually get, nor the craving to eat everything in sight.

Could that really be due to LCing? BIWI oh wise one, could it really be that LC sorts out PMT as well?

ChesterDrawers · 25/02/2015 07:16

I've found that my PMT is much more manageable on this WOE IJust

Feeling so much better after nine hours of solid sleep. Amazing how much tiredness can affect you.

Today's plan:
B: BPC
L: scrambled eggs in butter, bacon, mushrooms in butter
D: salmon wrapped in parma ham, veg - no idea what though whatever's in the fridge

costababe · 25/02/2015 07:42

Just checking in to stay on the thread. Have had a few blips over the weekend, no idea why just felt like stopping the LC which is stupid really as I'm enjoying the food, albeit getting bored with eating if that makes any sense.
So weighed on the Monday to give my self a kick up the backslide and had put on 3lb so that will teach me!
So now I'm only down 1.5lb in total in 6 weeks.
Back on it this week and hope to report a loss, just a shame it will be the same weight I keep putting on and losing!
