Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

And The Weight Tracker

Up at silly o'clock to catch a train to Leeds so no time for anything else.

Hope your weigh-in brings you good news. But if it doesn't - don't fall into a pile of biscuits - come and rant about it here!

B - 2 hb eggs and Mayo
L - roast chicken thigh, spinach leaves and cucumber
D - green soup

trashcanjunkie · 23/02/2015 21:00

Two pounds down Grin which is perfect.

I love it when I do the right things and the weight comes off.

Just got to keep doing the right things....

Managed a proper brisk pace at work today (dog walking) which is marvellous progress.

Bastard dp has overtaken me and now weighs less by two kilos!

He ran his first five k tonight I half an hour. He's delighted.

drdiva I'm so pleased you're heads clearing after such an awful thing. Big massive hugs to you.

imustbepatient · 23/02/2015 21:26

Dinner tonight was delicious! Roasted chicken breast served with roast broccoli and pan fried, chipped aubergine, hm Mayo on the side (but of course...)

It really is the best tasting food on this WOE.

And I've managed 3.75 litres of water today, plus no dairy.

This is going to work, if it kills me. Well, you know what I mean! Grin

Gcalgske · 23/02/2015 22:04

drdiva Flowers
ijustwanttobeme anchor do an extra thick unsweetened squirty cream which is lovely.
I'm KOKO but STILL not losing despite knocking the dairy and sf drinks on the head. I'm at the point of saying f*ck it and jacking it all in. Low carb always works for me with the exception of one time before when I was on amytriptaline for chronic pain (and I had no idea it effected blood sugar / insulin). I'm on quite a few pain meds, an acne antibiotic, iron tablets and omezeprole - anyone know if any of those would impact on loss?? With the exception of Saturday (being cooked for by a friend) and she made a Thai curry paste with plan sugar) I've been so careful, been less than 20g carbs per day - just from veg, I'm not snacking, I'm eating breakfast, I'm not hungry and have moderate keytones on pee sticks, I'm drinking as much water as my damaged lady bits and bladder will allow, I'm GOING OUT OF MY MIND!

Gcalgske · 23/02/2015 22:05

*palm not plan

nowitsenough · 23/02/2015 22:22

BIWI Grin Grin Grin A spoonful of pate. MN clearly doesn't like accents!

Thumbwitch · 23/02/2015 22:40

Ahhhh - paté! I thought you were typing Pasta in secret code, so BIWI wouldn't get her big stick out! Grin

DrD - kangaroo is very easy to get here, and makes a nice change from beef etc. It's very similar but slightly more peppery in flavour. We use it to make Swagman's pie as well (like cottage pie) Wink

LexLoofah · 23/02/2015 22:51

B - 3 buttery scrambled eggs, cuppa, BPC ( will now confess to making a BP Mocha at the weekend to cheer me up after days of being sick nurse, a few dark choc drops before blending, twas good), 5 blueberries
L - leftover hm Donner kebab on lettuce with hm mayo and cucumber
D - will be buttered celeriac noodles with a beef, pork and veg ragu

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 23/02/2015 23:23

I want cheese bread :( I don't need it, it will make me ill. My brain still wants it though.

BitchyDoesWitchyThings · 23/02/2015 23:33

You can get kangeroo in the UK but it tends to be expensive. lovely though.

Thumbwitch · 24/02/2015 02:04

It's very cheap here, although it's still farmed. Wild kangaroo is apparently prone to being a bit wormy

B - cheese again
L - 2 egg omelette, butter-fried mushrooms and courgette with garlic salt and cheese.
D - not sure yet, DH should be cooking it but he's had a bit of a strop just now over the phone...

BIWI · 24/02/2015 07:25

*Gcalgske

I Googled 'omeprazole and weight gain' and came up with loads of results - so it would seem that it could possibly be a culprit - although at least you aren't gaining weight!

And I have read that ibuprofen can impede weight loss, so it might make sense that other pain meds could have a similar effect.

Quite honestly, at the moment I'd focus on making sure that your condition and pain is managed successfully and try not to worry/stress out about your weight.

If you're enjoying your food at the moment, and not finding it too difficult to stick to, then I'd be glad about that. Because you're not putting on any more weight.

I have woken up after my exercise class yesterday and everything from my shoulders to my knees hurt! So breakfast was a BPC and painkillers!

lurkingmurking · 24/02/2015 08:19

Yesterday:

B: 3 scrambled eggs BPC
L: roast chicken, creamed leeks, roast broccoli and cauliflower
D: pork shoulder steaks with fennel and garlic, griddled courgettes, cream with raspberries
S: slice cheese, 2x coffee with cream

Gcalgske · 24/02/2015 08:35

Thanks biwi
I'm on the omezeprole for the pain meds and the pain meds because of birth trauma injuries. Trouble is I need surgery to fix the problem and can't do that till I lose weight. Catch 22.

beautifulthing62 · 24/02/2015 09:10

HELP ! I don't know what is going on and I feel like jacking it in. To summarise... I'm on week 8 not week 6 as I started early and over the last 3 weeks I steadily gained a pound each week. I thought it might be TOTM this week but I think I am doing something wrong. I've upped my exercise over the last 4 weeks in a bid to get things moving but the scales are going in the wrong direction.
week 1 - 4lbs off
week 2 1lb off
week 3 - llb off
week 4 - 0.5lb off
week 5 - 1lb on
week 6 - 1lb on
week 7 - 0.5 lb on
I recently bought some coconut oil and started making the BPC's - could I be having too much fat? Is this possible. I'm spinning once a week, running a couple of times a week. PISSED OFF and want to watch daytime TV with a packet of chocolate digestives

ChesterDrawers · 24/02/2015 09:18

The scales just keep going down, even though I am back on three good meals a day.

Needless to say I am very Grin at being 1lb off my final pre-Christmas BC WI, so all the weight I gained in December and on January's all-inclusive, child-free, boozy holiday all but gone.

I am wearing size 14 trousers that I bought just before the start of BC and they are really baggy. almost to the point of not being able to wear them. Still not back in the 12s yet but surely can't be too far off.

Today's plan:

B: BPC, eggs, butter
L: chicken breast in parma ham, salad leaves, HM mayo
D: Chicken thighs in tinned toms (1/3 tin), leeks, courgette, mushrooms, shallot, garlic, cauli rice, bit of grated cheddar

Got kettlebells class at lunchtime too, so looking forward to getting hammered at that.

ChesterDrawers · 24/02/2015 09:20

Beautiful if you post what you've eaten for the last week or thereabouts, I'm sure the helpful bods on here will be able to give you some advice.

beautifulthing62 · 24/02/2015 09:41

OK so
Breakfast is always a one egg omelette with cream and a leek and some mushiness fried in butter and a noggin of cheese. Coffee with soya milk and a dash of cream
Lunch - yesterday was a small portion of leftover IPD moussaka and some courgettes fried in butter
Supper - a portabello mushroom grilled with creme fraiche and blue cheese with spinach and cucumber and olive oil.
Another couple of teas or coffees during the day with soya milk. Trying to get the 3 litres in but usually getting 2.5.
That is a fairly regular day. I don't really snack as I'm not hungry. If I do get hungry I'll have some celery and cream cheese or peanut butter.
WHADDYA'LL think?

Gcalgske · 24/02/2015 09:43

Made a Drs apt. Am FED up. Going for a medication review.

sassandfaff · 24/02/2015 09:44

Bacon and eggs in coconut oil.........

Grin

Tmi?

sassandfaff · 24/02/2015 09:48

beautiful

Its cream/ cheese heavy. It's not good for some people.

Nuts are a problem for me too.

I would get rid of these for a week and see what happens.

I have just kept to one 85% choc the last 4 ish days and the scales are going down. ( instead of cream/yogurt nuts etc)

sassandfaff · 24/02/2015 09:49

Thanks Gcal

galbraith · 24/02/2015 09:49

Apologies in advance for TMI...

My constipation problem seems to be getting worse and worse! I'm eating walnuts every day and have even been taking laxatives every now and then, but it's getting to the point where it's painful to go Sad I'm not sure this WOE is suiting my body - I've never had this problem before. I'm getting tempted to start having some porridge for breakfast or adding in prunes before this gets any worse - not sure weight loss is worth this problem. It's been going on for a month now!

ChesterDrawers · 24/02/2015 09:50

Beautiful some people find dairy stalls them, me included, so maybe knock the cheese, cream and milk on the head for a week and see if that helps.

I'd also be starving on that amount of food, a mushroom is not much for tea! Are you sure you're eating enough?
