Morning all!

Here's the Spreadsheet

And The Weight Tracker

Up at silly o'clock to catch a train to Leeds so no time for anything else.

Hope your weigh-in brings you good news. But if it doesn't - don't fall into a pile of biscuits - come and rant about it here!

Well done everyone and Flowers to all those who have had a hard time of it last week.

The scales are just not my friend at the moment. They seemed really high all week, although my period arrived which probably had an effect. Actually it has been a strangely light period, so I think my body may be doing strange things in that respect at the moment!

Anyway, taking my lightest weight of the week I am down a pound, but that didn't really reflect what the scales said the rest of the week. I think I will record it as a STS this week and really pray that there is a significant downwards movement for next weigh in!

I continued to stick to the plan all week and over the weekend, as well as avoiding dairy, but I probably had a bit more wine that I should have (1-2 glasses each of Fri, Sat and Sun). Nothing compared to what I would have drunk previously mind you! But I will still cut that out for next weekend as I don't need anything else stalling me.

Food for today:
B: two eggs fried in butter with a bit of hm mayo, BPC
L: Pret chicken salad with prawns and mayo, packed of pork scratchings (now feel a bit full from that, note to self stop eating before that point arrives!)
D: will be chicken breast with skin, stir fried LC vege, bit of mayo

KOKO is still my motto. Sigh.

Romeyroo · 23/02/2015 14:09

lurking, I think unless you make the frappucino yourself, it will be loaded with sugar?

SarahBeenysBumblingApprentice · 23/02/2015 15:13

More Thanks for your office DrDiva

I'm down 2lb, which makes it 4lb over 6 weeks and doesn't include the whoosh as I couldn't face the scales pre whoosh!

I feel really guilty as I haven't been on the thread in ages, but in reality I'm just plodding on with very little to say about it. Low carb is becoming second nature which is good. I'm not daily weighing so I'm not agonising about every little thing and it's subsequently easier to stick to.
KOKO everyone

prettybird · 23/02/2015 15:30

Yet more Flowers for DrDiva I've had two mmc and the pain never really goes away Sad

On a brighter note, 1lb off for me, so I'm now 11st 8lb. If I were to put the scales back at their rose-tinted position I was using on the previous Boot Camp, I'm prbably back to where I'd got to before Christmas. :)

I too love tartiflette. That reminds me: I should buy some lardons and make the celeriac version. :)

Amaxapax · 23/02/2015 15:49

Sorry to hear about your troubles, DrD. Flowers

Everything here is fine. I didn't quite make it into the 13 stone bracket this past week, but I did lose three pounds, taking me to 196. Today I'm wearing a high waisted skirt that is very fitted at the waistband which didn't really fit properly when I bought it back in August. I'm excited that I'm wearing it without feeling like my circulation is being cut off.

I did the 30 Day Shred five times last week, which I'm proud of, but now that I'm back at work it will take a little more willpower to ensure it gets done.

My biggest challenge is that it is a significant birthday this coming weekend for my husband. We will be out for meals on Saturday and Sunday and I'm making a very big cake. I think I'll be able to refuse the cake and I'll be fine with meal options, but I may end up having a drink or two. This makes me stressed because I haven't had a drink since New Year's, plus low carb means low tolerance, and I am generally a complete lightweight at the best of times. I'm going to have to play this very very carefully, or else I'll end up sick the following morning and on a carb binge.

ChesterDrawers · 23/02/2015 15:56

Flowers from me too DrD

Just a quick SMS to say when I looked in the mirror at the gym today I was noticeably slimmer less fat in my unforgiving workout gear. Still not back in my test jeans or trousers but definitely something going on.

lurkingmurking · 23/02/2015 16:33

ijustwanttobeme · 23/02/2015 16:36

lurking nice try re: frappucino

Home made ones wouldn't have any sugar though - goes to check carb content of full fat squirty cream..... :)

galbraith · 23/02/2015 17:00

Amaxapax You've just described exactly what happened to me this weekend - booze-fuelled nightmare. I had half a bottle of wine and a mojito and I was DRUNK. Sad

Mrsstevejones · 23/02/2015 17:23

Had a manic day today, exercise class then visiting family and i managed to resist the birthday cake. Just back home now and stuck some mince on to serve with cauli rice. Kids both knackered and i hope they will sleep well tonight.

B- BPC and a sausage
L- Green smoothie
S- Coffee with cream
D- Mince and cauli rice

I have been quite good on the water front but i had along car journey trying not to wet myself - must learn to pace my water drinking!

MrsD - sending sympathies and positive wishes

Thumbwitch · 23/02/2015 17:26

(((hugs))) DrDiva - that's just unreasonable of your body to do that to you Thanks

I had a massive fall-off the wagon a couple of nights ago that I failed to mention. Not because I deliberately forgot, I just sort of blanked it Blush - I ate half a large pack of cheese and onion crisps. The craving had never really gone away from when I first had it a week ago, and finally I gave in. Then finished them yesterday, which is even worse.

APART from that though, I've stayed on the wagon in terms of meals and snacks etc, and I'm pleased to report that the craving has been satisfied and no longer plagues me (honestly I was dreaming about the sodding things!)
Today:
B - cheese slice
L - might have forgotten to eat - I can't remember! Blush
D - fried kangaroo steak in butter with broccoli, and a courgette and mushroom fried in garlic butter mix that I do as a sort of sauce (except it's not liquidised or anything) - and a red wine spritzer.

I still have to cut out the wine. I'm not managing this. I have to. Blush
But at least I managed to re-lose the 1lb I put on again last week so that's a bonus - just need to get back into "the mode" properly again.

Amaxapax · 23/02/2015 17:34

Oh galbraith, that is not encouraging! I'm going to try to have one glass of red, and that's it. I drink it more slowly than white, it will go with my steak, and hopefully no one else will notice that they are consuming the greater part of the bottle.

Notsoskinnyminny · 23/02/2015 17:52

1lb on for me but I thought it would've been more given the crap I've been eating washed down with wine and gin to be sociable with DH. I told him enough was enough and he needs to stop wallowing in self pity worrying about his job until something's announced and if he wants to eat and drink himself into oblivion he can do it by himself. I probably could've worded it a bit better but tact isn't one of my strong points and there's only so much woe is me I can cope with Grin

Flowers and hugs for DrD

ChesterDrawers · 23/02/2015 18:21

That coconut jam looks to be nearly 6g of carbs per 10g serving Sad. Looks amazing though.

sassandfaff · 23/02/2015 18:51

Who knew?!

Green beans in the oven with lashings of olive oil and salt, actually do taste a bit like chips!

Ds wolfed them down, I barely got a look in.

Food for today.

B- 3 scrambled eggs.
L- broccoli soup
D- cheese burgers, salad green beans
S- about 6 leftover Brussels sprouts. One 85% choc.

almahart · 23/02/2015 18:58

Had an okay day
B one black farmer sausage and fried mushrooms. Bpc
S small handful almonds
L chicken and broccoli
S cold sausage
D roast chicken thigh and big avocado based salad. Was yum

nowitsenough · 23/02/2015 19:02

Today I've had bacon and eggs for breakfast, chicken and salad for lunch and IPD moussaka with asparagus. 4 decaf coffee with cream and a spoonful of pâté as a snack

BIWI · 23/02/2015 19:04

A spoonful of what?!

OP posts:
readyforno2 · 23/02/2015 19:08

Haven't read the thread yet, or weighed in..
I'll have to do it tomorrow now.. I suspect I've STS

Food today
B scrambled eggs
L soup and salad
D meatballs in tom sauce (homemade) and mash turnip.

Much better on the water front. It's so much easier when I'm at work!
1 coffee with cream 1 tea with cream

FurFoxAke · 23/02/2015 19:56

Hi all! Just cruising on by shouting my shit! Hope everyone is ok (haven't read yet)

Good weekend food wise, water drunk etc.

So, this is the week I'm hoping to see some changes as I'm stopping the TOTM and hopefully lose some water weight. I'm going to be quite strict with everything I think, make sure I don't over/under eat, drink all my water, stay light in the dairy (this definitely helped a bit)

B; Parma ham wrap, BPC.
D; chicken with mayo/marmite (yes) and leafy green salad leaves.
T; stirfried chicken and spinach.

I had a very small amount of nuts as well, to see what happens, and an extra BPC.

But plus side, over 3 litres of water today (am on my fourth) and will have my buttermint tea at bedtime.

Also, is it ok to take haYfever tablets?

DrDiva · 23/02/2015 19:59

I think thumbwitch wins the menu comparison with kangaroo steak!!

And sass I now have to try those green beans. Wondering how DS will take to them. (I am very lucky, my toddler loves veg. Am making the most of it while I can, before the living off Haribo kicks in)

mrssteve I sympathise on the water pacing. I found myself in the middle of a Very Serious Meeting, with a Very Serious Urge for the loo... Blush my scramble for the door at the end was rather undignified.

I had forgotten how just lovely the food is when LC-ing. For dinner we had lamb souvlaki with salad. We devoured it, but there is still enough left for my lunch tomorrow. Am looking forward to it!

CharlieSierra · 23/02/2015 20:03

I didn't weigh this morning due to birthday lunch with the family yesterday, but I'm logging a STS for this week based on Saturdays weight. I've had a few mindful lapses and this week I'm right back on it.

Sass I think the green beans are the best chip substitute, but I am inclined to burn them at the slightest opportunity. Confused

Today:

Avocado with salt and drizzle of olive oil
Small can tuna in olive oil, salad leaves, cucumber, dollop hm Mayo
Chicken breast roasted with butter with tarragon and mustard, roasted green beans, kale

SayraT · 23/02/2015 20:09

Just SMS but actually got nothing to say but just want to get on the new thread..

Mrsstevejones · 23/02/2015 20:25

Will try the green beans they sound lush.

My new find is sun dried tomato pesto it is 2.1g carbs / 100gs, i chucked some in with my beef mince and it was lovely. I have started just using 1 can of tomatoes instead of 2 and tomato paste, so this is a nice way of adding lots of fat and depth of flavour. Bought from sainsburys it was an own brand.
